if you are in a group together, as soon as both of you get the invite, you both have to accept it, else just create your own game and wait for people to join

One thing I did that kinda bit me was spending resources changing attributes on gear and upgrading things before starting the warlords of New York expansion, reason is when you start it all your gear gets set to level 30 and your recalibration library resets

If you want to set yourself up for success here's my advice: Pick a build you want to start working towards that fits your playstyle. Switch and replaces pieces as you deem necessary while you level up, do that and your later level grinding will be that much easier.

Don't sell it. Resources will be greatly helpful for Expertise, a late game feature.

Dismantle it instead.

When you eventually hit level 40 after wony then you can start dismantling gear for the perks and better attributes using the recalibration library which’ll help with build crafting and getting into end game

Don't sweat it if it's not perfect. Anything below Lv. 40 is getting trashed anyway, so don't worry about minmaxing or optimizing things until then.

Countdown is the latest game mode added. Has the highest farming yield of any mission/mode in the game. I highly recommend getting acquainted with it on normal or hard with a few others and then moving up the difficulty to at least challenging.

It should be noted that some skills require you to have access to seasons, which you simply won't until Lv. 40. But otherwise, it's not a problem.

Seconding the advice about picking skills that fit your play style. When I was levelling up my character, I was running co-op with my brother. He preferred a more run and gun approach while I liked to hang out at range and shoot things, so I picked turret and drone. No one size fits all.

Yeah, there's the skills that play themselves and the skills that active attention from you. So if you're the fire and forget type, drones and machine gun turret are generally some better options for those that don't care for keeping on eye on skills.

No. Hornet's manhunt for example, gives the heal trap. Lau's manhunt the Achilles Pulse. The WoNY DLC had Decoy, Shock Trap, and Sticky Bomb as theirs for the Keener Manhunt.

The simpler way to think about it is this: Warlords unlocks Seasons, Seasons unlocks manhunt targets, those manhunt targets have the skills not originally included with Warlords. The obvious exception being the Keener Manhunt which is what kicks everything off.

EMP Sticky Bomb was from Season 1 Target: Molly "Jupiter" Henderson. Season 2 was the Repair Trap from target: Carter "Hornet" Leroux. 3 Was the Shrapnel Trap from Target: Bardon Schaeffer. And 4 the Achilles Pulse from Target: Faye Lau.

so tl;dr, just keep going until you hit WT5, then do all the missions and stuff, then take the chopper to NYC and when you've done that, you'll be at the endgame.

As well, just a note - what I usually tended to do with these ones were to utilize a Tank build - isolated the NPC in question, and slowly shot at him with a pistol, noticing which areas of his armor were visually crumbling.
After dealing with armor, I wasted him with a rifle.

Might help with making sure all armor is destroyed before proceeding with a kill

it's 1 ex component per attempt, and the result is full reroll of all attributes, so it might get worse.

meaning, you should consider rolling your most useful but poorly rolled exotics first. and for them it'll be worth it.
