welp, for enemy tanks/heavy/big chunga, let's put it this way, big guy with red thing on them (true songs, black tusk, cleaner, riker), usually has gas tanks, ammo case, or just a red box on the back, shooting it will either disable one of his ability (riker's nail gun when you pop both tanks, BT's heal, true son's grenade, cleaner's flamethrower), and/or blown off part of the armor in the process, usually exposing the body(true son), but, if you are using a sniper build, and the enemies are facing you instead of the other way, i would just say, focus either on the torso as it is the biggest part, or the head if you are accurate enough. Robot dogs on the other hand, if your got a full HH charge, i do believe you can one shot them

Charge hh then dump in their weakpoints. Grenade and sniper dogs take damage directly to health If you shoot the legs. Minigun dog takes direct damage to the ass

The "Solar Farm loop" (or whatever the kids are calling it these days) is a classic way to gain them, but still quite effective.
There's guides for it over on Reddit, a quick google should sort you out.

i tend to start at sink hole, and run a North/South zig zag on the mall (between the 2 main E/W roads), slowly headed more east with each zig or zag.
there is a tented area on the north end i run entirely then backtrack a bit though.

i go all the way out though solar farm and almost to the crashed plane.

obvioulsy, by capping the CPs early in the week, its less hassle with mobs later in the week when you do a run

when i start at sinkhole, i donate enough to fill its needs to activate the lvel 2 loot highlighter. this helps. and doing in in low visibility helps more.

To be clear, you need to farm each "Part" from one of the Invaded Strongholds, with Manning Zoo giving you a random part that you're missing.
Once you've collected 2 or 3 (including the part from Adrestia in TB) then GWH's first boss will drop the BP.

the dmg on the stat card is based on base dmg and WD from your build, its also the dmg they do per shot, not a dmg per second, overall higher rpm weapons have less dmg per shot

dont use it to compare weapons basically. or if you want to use it to compare, do dmg x rpm for damage per minute(or dmg x (rpm/60) for dps)

also weapons of the same type all have the same base dmg, the only thing that increases it is the WD stat off the weapon and your build(cores and brands)/WD points in spec/expertise

i dunno about other platforms, but on xbox, from inventoty you can goto optiosn... wher eyou can sort or share etc.. and enable 'show base damage'

this setting turns off everytime you relaunch the game though. just another low priority bug. but.. base damage turned on helps compare gusn if you wanna look in game vs a spreadsheet

the player responding to the call, also the backup only gets a xp boost (unsure how much it was, but dont think its 2x) once they reach 2 times the endorsement xp requirements. they get a endorsement at first and if they stick around they get the xp boost.

also if the player who sent out the call is lower lvl than the shepard by atleast 2, they also gets a significant xp boost because of them getting scaled up, i think you receive xp at the rate of your scaled lvl, but your requirements to level stay at your actual lvl. this is a common trick used to go trough wony alts faster, you want to always be scaled, and most do its with the shd backup system

it's not a bug. it's a special story-only mode for the map that shows you where to go.

once you set your waypoint for the yellow circle and reopen this map as usual, all stuff should be there.

I just run em solo most of the time, every so often I'll ahve a friend online we'll duo with. don't even bother changing builds, I just go in with my full red AR. pew pew all the things and move on.

we basically skip loot unless we are runnign past a drop, adn only restock when specifically needed, not as habit.

countdown is teh fastest. difficulty in there is just under heroic, but honestly most teams you que up with can carry you a bit if needed.

basic countdown tips
hunters are first. 4 of them. dont use skills they can hack
follow group, go for objectives
when heading out to extraction, more hunters. avoid hackable tech
when it is time to fire the flare to call chopper, wait until last second, or just let someone else do it. this will maximise time for waves to come and die .

you will miss out on story, and leveling doesnt take long doign it organically as suggested, but you can also 'boost' a character to 30 with the DLC and jsut do new york to hit endgame.

but that is investing more money, missing story, and skipping the early content that is easier to learn the game with. if you enjoy the game, you wille nd up buying DLC anyhow.

TD2 is goign strong imo.. aside from PC crashing (theoretically a fix is in QA now, due in a coupel weeks)

assuming you've completed WONY, yeah - once you've progressed your season levels far enough to unlock it, just go to Camp White Oak, open the mission settings and 'toggle mission mode'

best way with friends is summit with everyone having the bagpack as target loot and run with as much directive as possible, ask them if they drop it and gift it to you. Best way solo is countdown, just test your luck

Oh, I think those are the stalker Hunters that I've heard of. Basically, they just stand there and look at you until you notice them, then they run away

But there are many proper Hunter encounters throughout the open world which you need to activate by completing puzzles

Overcharge is usually on a timer. If you don’t throw the seekers during the timer, it’s gone. So if you throw a drone/turret out during the timer, they’ll be overcharged until the timer runs down.

level 40 is max level for gear, so start farming for gear with max rolls & ideal stats. Extract good rolls on otherwise less-than-useful gear to build up your recalibration table, and donate unwanted items to expertise to start that process

there's a spreadsheet linked in the pinned messages in #td2-build-advice with a bunch of good builds so take a look through those, pick some that sound fun and start working towards them

make sure to check the season menu to view/activate any global events (but make sure you read the details on how they work or you'll just make life harder for yourself!)

Not really.
The c7 defaults to having a specific Talent that you want to change, and the 3rd Attribute on it should be dtooc (Damage to Target out of Cover).
So with that one, you can only fix 1 of the 2 problems it has.

Setting them as TL in Countdown, and running it with them on will help increase the pace quite a lot.
yeah Expertise is a good replacement for a Lvl increase, but as it's not a direct increase ya get why it's not "strong strong".

HH stack size is based on weapon damage, if you switch to a lower damage weapon then your stacks reduce in proportion (but they don't increase back again when you switch back to regulus) - so having a high damage weapon such as sniper or shotgun helps maintain that damage boost

also, always check if grenade launcher counts for the challenge, it does not for this GE, but for some others it definitly does, when that does work, thats the easier option together with etiher a explosives build or a tip of the spear gearset build

However, the game doesn't let me play the mission, and says it needs to be invaded for me to play. Anyone know how this works? While it's active, you get a different type of apparel cache key every few levels, which opens caches containing the new items. Unlike the usual apparel caches you never get duplicate drops, so you can gain all the apparel just by gaining a sufficient number of levels during the event. There's no extra challenges or anything.

there is no point going in dz for named exclusives. countdown and GE named caches will give you a better chance. only go there for actual pvp or if you really need yaahl or syscor

dz exclusives can drop from purchased or earned named caches from both countdown and global events. This is why you see more people doing 10F during GEs than any other time during the season.

seriously. if it is going to take too long to fix TL in DZ, or, just because DZ is currently a grief fest... changing the loot pool on an item should be as simple as a database record edit. why not just add em to regular loot.

It also took me a long time to get "the Gift". But once you got 1 it is easier to get another. I have gotten 4 so far. 2 of them with ideal rolls. And 2 with rainbow colors. So keep farming. And opening named item cashes.

3 is quite a bit faster an easier, just lower loot rolls. But for a focused blueprint farm id probably set world to challenging for efficiency

if its is that its giving you the select normal start or wony start pop up screen at the start, then just select either option and it should fix itself right after when you reach your character select screen, and your character should be there,
its a bug that happens from time to time for people that havent played a long time or have gone from one region to another

If you have a build that can solo heroics at a good speed and comfort, then you are halfway to being able to do legendaries. the other half is gained from gameplay knowledge (ie smart cover useage, target prio etc)
