My idea its to create an system where players can find builds of all kind posted by players like how forza series has with comunity tuning upgrades. That way i think it will be more easy to find any build you want directly in game.

fallout new vegas vs fallout 3

i've played both extensively, and when they arent crashing, and looking past the improvements NV made, NV is still just a better game

even if you completely take away the stories

main quest, atleast

NV has so much to do, you can solve problems 4 or 5 different ways, you always have something to go towards on the map (theres almost always 3 landmarks visible), stuff actually matters in new vegas. Fallout 3 has self contained quests, and it steers you towards the things it tries to show you and shoves it in your face

in New Vegas, theres a quest that you get from a researcher who wants to prevent a food shortage, mentioning a Vault in the mojave. He gives you the location and promises payment when he gets the data.

As soon as you leave the room he's in, you can speak to his assistant to learn you arent the first to go on the journey, and none have made it back. if you go back you can get a double on your payment with the knowledge. You go to the vault and its overgrown and all sorts of plants are growing, even out the front of the vault.

You fight through a good bunch of spore carriers, who you learn are vault dwellers & adventurers who died and were reanimated by a fungus from the vault. Creepy things, go between a couple places to open up the data terminal's room, and you are eventually faced with Keely, a ghoul researcher, who got trapped in the vault and had the door to the surface lock up on her. She knows what the data you have holds, and encourages you to destroy the data because the scientist you got the quest from is just in it for the money, as Keely tells it.

Keely wants you to destroy the data, Hildern wants the data. But thats not the end. You learn from Keely that some of the spore's chemicals are actually stimulants (which is a possible solution for another quest), and that you have multiple options from this point.

You can
-avoid keely completely and run
-delete the data
-refuse to destroy the data
-Lie to her about what you'll do, and run away
-and if your science skill is high enough, you can tell keely that "Science learns from its failures as much as its successes" and she'll let you go free
-If you have another quest at the same time, you can instead give the data to the Brotherhood of steel, for a smaller reward.

A bunch of FNV's quests are like this. And that isnt even the only quest that leads to Vault 22. There are.... 6(?) quests that involve Vault 22, or you can just find it on a walkaround. Its stuff like this that makes the world of FNV feel alive.

In Fallout 3, one of the main quests is "Find your father". One of the first leads you get is to talk to Three Dog, a radio host who has knowledge of where your father went.

If you kill him, the quest updates, takes away the lead you had, and.... goes back to "find your father"

If you kill three dog, the only other way to figure out where to go next is to guess. You have to go to Rivet City and talk to a doctor there.

I would recommend you D2, @spice root, but if you want to stay top of the game it requires a hard grind and if you're already a The Division 2 player, you know how it could be (I think both are quite grindy but with big rewards), still I would definitely tell you to try it, my dude!

D2 is a great game, but to be quite honest it is not very friendly to new players. It's an addicting looter shooter, best advice I can give to you is to find some friends to play alongside or try to meet up with veteran guardians to help you get a hang on things, it can get very overwhelming very quickly if you want to dive into its depths

Thanks for the recommendations, that's my mind issue, that I am a solo player. Due to my work schedule I can be playing plenty of hours over a week or absolutely nothing. Since the game is free I am going to try it out and check some guides to see if it suits me. What I don't see as so deep as the division 2 is that there arent builds in the same sense, right? Like, where are the numbers and stats?

builds are definitely not as deep as they are in div2, but there are builds, the character has atributes to them that are influenced by armor used (intellect / discipline / recovery / strength / resilience / mobility) each attribute determines stuff like movement speed, grenade recharge, super recharge, etc. You can make builds towards grenades for example, or make a build to take advantage of a certain exotic

plus all subclasses are getting the stasis rework, meaning that you will have a lot of options on what to specialize on

but basically everything works well until you get to more end game stuff

solo lost sectors, master raids, GM nightfalls, master dungeons

Gage Mod Courier- A variety of great weapon mods, borderline a must buy
Sokol Character pack- great Perk Deck and a good gun to use with it

Point Break, Golden Grin Casino and Hotline Miami are all good heist packs

Historical weapon pack isn't bad

not once has i felt threatened in breakpoint even on higher difficulty,at least on the main campaign

you are not the hunted,you are the hunter.and while it may work for other games,it does not work here

also the attention to details...im not one of those "hoooh the animations and details suck so the game sucks" kind of peep

but even division 2 has better attention to details.hell,even Wildlands have better attention to details.
the lipsync actually looks convincing in Wildlands

there are actual ripples on the water surface when you fly the helicopter close to the water

and it's suppose to be a tactical realistic shooter

like,sure the same thing happened in,say WD Legion,the one im playing rn.
but im willing to look past that solely based on how they focused more on gameplay,and the world in general

It spoils the whole mood during battle when he needs to take so much time to aim, throw, then go back to firing his weapon.
