@azure rampart For example I tried explaining to someone else, I noticed a difference in DX 11 and DX12 with VSync on and off and someone helped by saying that I should turn vsync off and lock the frames to 60 and disable input latency as according to the benchmarks its runs the game well.

Forza Motorsport 7 if you want a solid racing SIM same with project cars... forza horizon 4 might be more like grid, much more arcade with decent car physics

I personally use a USB xbox controller, works great, keyboard wont work with racing games sadly. I also have a wheel and pedals, but definitely not needed. I personally use the controller more than the wheel just because it's nice to sit back in my chair and just play.

Woop got my render-rig CPU cooler replaced, and unless my luck is terrible and the pump fails In a few days did I definitely get an improvement there xD

went from 4200 Cinebench score to 7000 <_< seeing my CPU no longer throttled under load.

I'm doing a long term project to compare the buildings and structures in the game to the ones in real life. I live very close to DC so the project would be easy to do. Starting with the path from the White House to the Threater settlement

@gritty drift I'm a long term NoVa resident who has spent a lot of time in the city. I've been informally doing this myself. It's pretty impressive in some places, less so in others. Names are changed of course, but the level of detail is pretty nuts. National Portrait gallery is very well done, right down to the atrium and the monitors on the walls near the guard center. I found the spot where I attended a happy hour at the Reagan trade center... And although it's been like... 25 years since it moved and my memory is getting hazy, I'm pretty sure the F street entrance to the Theater district is the old 930 club. The JW Marriott is perfect from the outside, less so inside. But overall it's very close. I can navigate around parts of the city by landmarks rather than looking at the map. I've been extremely impressed with the Devs recreating the area. The rats aren't big enough though. 😉

so I blocked someone on discord for the first time, and realized that discord basically shows you the blocked messages but covered up. It even has a counter for them. Anyone knows in what way Discord benefit from doing that?

they even have a special message in the console to discourage users from using custom CSS to hide blocked messages... they really want you to see them
