they dont, control points give field recon, and so the devs have stated that they didnt want it to also give tac assesment, also its not every named, its the final named of a bountie/mission, so a faster mission is favourable over a mission with multiple nameds

there are other situation where nameds drop them aswell, like openworld nameds and summit boss floor nameds, but those are not specificly farmable for a faction you are after

armor is not the ultimate scape goat

balance yourself between Armor and DPS, or Skills and Armor, no single attribute will save you without causing negative effects to the other. Skills is debatable since you can lurk as gear in the rear just killing all from way in the back, but as a front line shooter, you have to balance armor to Damage.

It takes me 15min to matchmake for invaded missions, if I'm even lucky enough to find a group, cause I don't want to play Solo. This was an issue in The Division 1 as well. If you were late to the game, good luck trying to matchmake for the story missions, you'd have to run through the entire game solo if you didn't have anyone to play with.

its just dumb that the best way to grind exotic components is by doing the tutorial over and over. You can get roughly 8 exotic components an hour like that consistently, and that will take about 7 hours to max (again just the exotic components, not including any of the others) a single item to level 20. And thats by far the fastest way, and after tons of hours to max the system in the first place. The only reason more people arent annoyed by it is because so few people have reach +10-15 exp yet

start new (non-boosted) character, do tutorial, reach white house, pick your first skill, THEN boost (not from the heli pilot though, you have to find the boost in the 'add-ons' section of the store and claim it from there) which will put you at level 30, then just buy the 'shared materials' blueprint from Inaya and do the weekly 'shd requisition' project - you'll prob need to farm for the food/water/components section but that doesn't take long (assuming you have sufficient quantities of the other materials on your main character)

Happens to many times to me aswell in in norway but get connected to US east to often

its probably the availability of player count on your server, say youre on EU/NA, but the current amount of players qued up on countdown is low, the game probably throws you at asia server which probably has the most count of players anytime of the day.

so either you wait X mins just to get matched with people on your server, which will probably take time, or get thrown off on asia server, pray your teammates wont dc so you can play early

Indeed. I was under the impression that the Minigun will be my main weapon similar to the M60 type of weapons.

However, considering that the game dictates that this is a special weapon only, which ammo will be rare for. This means i can not keep shooting similar to the M60 type weapons. Therefore, i should use it as a special ability type of situation.

Based on which, i have chosen the Rocket Launcher. At least shifting is free so i can shift until i find what compliments my play style.

You'll only gain spec points for a specialization when it's your active one, and while leveling is the simplest and steadiest source of points, you do also get extra ones from certain activities (mainly time based ones like projects, weekly invasion, daily bounties, etc)

Most people pick specialisations based not on the weapon but on the other perks you can unlock - at the moment, technician is probably the most popular as it gives you a free skill tier and access to a weapon mod which pulses enemies when you aim at them (making the new flatline talent very easy to use)

Just use what fits best for you and the minigun is fun to use for sure like walking around and go BRrrRrrr but the dmg is a bit low tho. X-bow and .50Cal are best imo for utility/dmg the do compared to the amount of ammo you can hold/get

the tl;dr is: until you get it, but each one you do increases that chance.

without having the ability to check, i would guess you have about 200 bps to unlock as a newbie, so it may take a while to get the one you are after as its basically a 1 in 200 chance to get a specific one,
the upside is that you dont get duplicates, so you will have everything eventually, just takes a while

when you're solo, enemies are generally too spread out to easily damage with a single skill, and you'll be left desperately waiting for your skills to cooldown while they rush you

(at least, this was my experience)

you can work around it a bit by just using Ravenous in a red build, if you have it, then it's only a bit more work than playing normally

That, I'm not sure about. I'm pretty sure Ubisoft sells different versions of the game separately. You might own TD2, but maybe only for PC. And in that case you may have to buy a second copy for consoles.
I can't be 100% sure, but I'm almost certain that's how it works. And because I'm almost certain it's like that, I don't think you'll have access to the same characters as you do on say... PC. I could be wrong. But I just don't know.

There is no meta specialization. They all have different purposes. Some are better suited for certain builds than others.
Your specialization will complement what you run, not dictate it.

Decide what kind of build you're going to make. Then choose a specialization that synergizes with it. Not the other way around.

There are also not really any meta builds in the grand scheme of things. If you go to the pins in #td2-build-advice there's a whole host of options to choose from. Pick one you like to help you get started.

You will only be put into instances with other players in your bracket. Maxed players will play with maxed players, low levelers with other low levelers.
You might not come across many people though. Most players are already at the end game.

That can only be done through the character creation screen. You need to make a brand new agent in order to make a hardcore agent. Existing agents can't enter hardcore mode.
