Don't go off on your own, follow the pack.
Don't fire the flare at the end immediately, wait until the countdown is down to about 10s
(That last one is actually less important but many players get annoyed about it)

so, loot is loot. But ive had people run past the giant welcome home party to pop flare and die immediately and it actually pisses me off

And yes your eyes do not deceive you you can get the eagle bearer, and the ravenous blueprints from Black tusk as well and you can craft them without having to go through the raid

No your target loot has nothing to do with what blueprints will drop. Unless you're looking for some specific named item I personally would suggest go for gear mods because I can be broken down into printer filament which you can donate towards your progression or proficiency to mastery rank 30.. plus retaliations is a really good place to get a chance at getting the max mod

The best way to go about retaliations is matchmaking.. but keep in mind you will only match make with your world difficulty so if your world difficulty is set at challenging you're only going to match make with challenging retaliations which hardly nobody does so you would have to put your world difficulty on heroic to actually get a match

No you do not have to have an active retaliation in order to matchmake, all you have to do is go to your map and they'll have that bar at the very top right bumper all the way to the right and they added in the matchmaking selection retaliations with the three skulls and all you have to do is hit a and start matchmaking

And the blueprint drop is completely random so it's not guaranteed at any time it's just completely random but I have found it the drops are pretty generous. I got most of my blueprints solo on challenging mode I think the only blueprint that I got on heroic was the eagle bearer and I didn't even need it because I got it from The raid years ago.

Now you can get up to 300% agitation towards a faction which means you can build up three massive retaliations for each faction.

And here's another thing about retaliations a lot of people don't pay attention to projects, but there is a daily project for retaliations and it could be any faction which me for instance right now it's true sons agitation.. which means if I go and liberate or take control of a control point that is a true sons control point bam I've got an escalation with the true sons automatically..

If so then you already have the retaliation. You just have to go to the menu go to retaliations look at the map and it'll have it red highlighted then you just hold a and do the retaliation
