core strength is a very plug n play gear set, but lots of things end up being better than it if you want to really elevate your builds n stuff.
pestilence's dot scales on weapon damage, which core strength does give, but not nearly as much as other builds. concentrated company iirc was the largest bonus for that but that set is way more geared towards group play and longer missions/activities, and the other option is normal brand sets that are a little harder to grind out.
st elmos engine is ofc a powerhouse in any build, but the more damage you can put on it the better because while its base stats are great, it has no perk to boost its own damage so you gotta do that via other perks and armor. my most success on a solo build with very high survivability/room for error was a techtank build, which uses a specific amount of cores (2 red/3 blue/memento) to reach tier 5 on the crusader shield, then technician specialization for 1 more skill tier to bump that up to tier 6. easiest set to plug into this would be strikers cuz its just a free raw damage amp, but heartbreakers can work too but it trades a fair amount of damage for bonus armor (that you dont need a lot of the time cuz you have both a tough shield and tons of bonus armor per memento pickup).

an example of why i recommend techtank over core strength is cuz when i tested it out, strikers techtank was dealing just over double the damage at the cost of a tiny amount of armor that was extremely negligable
difference of like 100-200k per shot vs 250-450k per shot

all of those can be set up pretty easily to get the core of it up and running and then improved over time

The first part. I think this one is a clone and the sword is the original cause of the fake levaiathan/surtr clone likely being the sword in her story quest, thats why I think the og surtr kicked the bucket and the sword knew that one is not surtr and it tried to help it

Playing legendary with my friend and at the train part there is a bugged enemy underground or something immune to everything. Tried everything, stinger hives, firestarter, just said immune. Naded ourselves to respawn of course it’s from the start. Why do you put a no respawn difficulty when your bugs can block progress is beyond me.

Depending on where the NPC is, you can often reset them by running back towards the start of the mission, then return back through the mission (don't fast travel as it will reset the mission entirely for legendary). This can reset the cell allowing completion of the area. It's the same deal when doing bounties, run far enough away to get out of the cell (without going so far as to cancel the bounty) then return, or when a wave of NPCs don't appear when doing open world POIs. The game will either respawn/ move the stuck NPC, or just insta-kill when you return.

Can loot the gear once it's opened by someone else, and the game will be fine. It's just certain chests for the last (third) area (turbine is bad for it for some reason iirc). It's an intermittent bug which is likely why it's hard for the developer to reproduce and fix.

There have been no major changes to summit in some time (outside of targetable loot) so any apparent "nerfing" is more likely being much more familiar with what happens, when, which always makes things seem easier. The first time you stood up was hard, then it got much easier. Standing was not nerfed, just your perception of difficulty.

that amount of white works on the black tusk security outfit because it's more broken up by grays & has some texture

hunters are typically in black gear already so adding some texture to it is just a nice little bonus ontop of black being less harsh when on something as flat as this outfit
