Not the kind of reset you’re thinking of, exactly. You could keep using the gear you wanted through “resets”, you would just have to spend a few weeks leveling up your account to bring your favorite weapons and gear to the new max power

Usually level 40 DZs level up fast, but you need a level 40 group to bring you to the lvl 40 DZ, otherwise the XP is meh.

I mean stuff like some guy off on the side starts shooting at you while youre firing in general, and since you have 0 defensive perks or anything, your armor gets absolutely nuked, resulting in armor kits getting burned through

It’s a bit backwards to think about but investing in armor can actually make you die more because you kill enemies slower

Yeah tankier builds really just delay the process of burning through armor kits, the most effective builds kill stuff before that’s an issue (in combination with proper positioning)

Tall cover is your best friend for all encounters

You can shift around in tall cover to expose less of yourself

Skills like Decoy will help distract enemies long enough for you to mow them down

You can also pop a crusader shield for a bit more survivability when shooting

Technically the invasion missions should be done after the vanilla DLC story events ( DC Outskirts, Pentagon & Coney Island were considered DLC at the time. ) since Pentagon is one of the initial targets of Black Tusk. However you can do them before the vanilla DLC missions to get that part over with.

And most of them happen in between WONY and BfB

I say particularly that it does have better capacity over the texture quality setting, is because it actively helps older lower end cards directly not have to load in any higher resolution texture than what is set for the mip bias. Meaning instead of loading the full texture and grabbing the mip from there, it just uses the correct resolution mip by default based on that mip bias.

It helped a buddy of mine particularly on a GTX 1070.

though I feel like lower texture quality should in theory already load a mip thats smaller instead of high-res, kinda defeats the purpose of it. and of course other games probably do this mistake. though is that something to really focus when the GTX 1060 does it fine? sure can't play on maximum graphics

The problem is the hardware interaction differs from card to card, so better to have an option so you can adjust it manually than rely on the game to automatically do this and possibly f it up.
