After doing some testing in the shooting range, the 20% damage buff from scorpio seems to kick in after the 8th shot rather than the 9th like it says in the description.

I noticed on the new scorpio skin that it tells you the applied status effect after it's been applied, so poison after 2 shots, disorient after the 4th shot, and shock after the 6th shot. But it says "damage" after the 8th rather than the 9th shot, and numbers wise, I see an exact 20% increase after the 8th and not the 9th shot. Is anybody else experiencing this?

This logic only works for a single achievement, which is reach level 40. Although ironically that achievement does work with wony boost and 20 minutes of power levelling. The main issue is when you can't get mission completion achievements after boost. Which make 0 sense.

Because it doesn't say this very clearly: the reward that it lists at the base of each Priority Objective won't factor in to how much Seasonal XP you get from it.
The only thing that will, is the difficulty/mode of the mission, and having the Seasonal Modifiers active gives you an extra 10%.

I find that the most consistant place is Countdown, you can buy caches with the currency you earn and you might also get exotics dropping in the encounter. You can set your preferred targeted loot if you are after something in particular.

Perfect week to start the Nemesis project, or get that blueprint you been waiting for.

After you get the Tidal Basin piece , change mode for invaded stronghold back to invaded. Complete again for another nemesis piece (stronghold dependent). With any 2 pieces in hand, set GWH back to invaded and the blueprint will drop. Nemesis can be farmed from Marksman Rifle Target Loot after that, regardless of project completion.

masks in NY are a bit tricky.. there are a few as Rivens says in DC even though they are added in NY pool.. but there are some that are on actual day/night timers. So you have to solve the clues, then wait for a specific time to get the hunter. Guide is probably the best thing.

Yep, Countdown and Summit both allow you to choose your targeted loot (in the same way the map provides) either by type of gear or brand set.

Weapons can only be targetted by their type. If you're after a specific exotic piece, you can farm the crafting blueprint from the new retaliation mode

If you're looking for an Exotic/gun: go for "type". ```

Enemy aggro in this game seems to work very simply: Whoever deals the most damage gets shot at.

A build that focusses on surviving, cannot deal more damage than a full red striker, TS,OD or ND. You can even stand in front of the enemies and they will ignore you (this can be proven) and they will shoot at the DPS sat behind you.

So therefore, you can't tank because there are no hits for you to survive, until everyone else is dead. The idea of a tank is to gain aggro, and allow others to deal their glass cannon damage without repercussion.

COUNTDOWN: for beginners (This seems a chore, but it really is not)
Firstly, make sure have plenty of inventory space.
You can select your targeted loot by going on the map, hovering over the Pentco Fairview Power Plant (green icon) (top right) and pushing down on the D-pad to bring up the loot list.
Press the swipe pad, go to matchmaking, select countdown on challenging.
Now when you see loot, just pick it up, do not bother to examine it (it waste time)
Now when countdown is done, go to the White House and go to Inaya al-Khaliq, open (buy/sell) and scroll to (inventory) here you will see everything new that you last picked up in the same list:
Now you can scroll down the list in one go and see what you want to keep, break down or sell.
Also, opposite the helipad there is a countdown shop where you can spend any tokens you collect, an exotic cache cost 224 tokens, countdown tokens will stack until you use them

Tip: if for example you junk mark 20 items, leave Inaya and go into your usual inventory and look for one of those junk marked items (so if you junk marked a pair of gloves, go to your glove category and it’ll be there, now you will get the option to deconstruct junk and get the components it holds, ALSO when you deconstruct that one single item, every other item in your inventory that has a junk mark on it will be automatically junked and give you all its related components:

Hopefully this makes your gameplay quicker and easier. (there’s also plenty of YT vids explaining countdown) 👍 Just to add about countdown for beginners, when its time to extract, you don’t need to call the helicopter, it will come automatically when the time runs out, only call if in trouble, although it’s easy to call by accident when you “loot all” with the square button, the longer it takes for the Helo to come, the more time, hence chance you get for more loot or an exo to drop

i've noticed when i jump in with my alt characters, the maps rn't showing any of those territory ctrl, executions, resource convey activities. I standing in the WH for a few minutes now and nothing is popping up. The map is set to normal, not sure if that has anything to do with it. On my main, I can see all sorts of activities happening once I jump in, no need to wait. Is this some sort of bug?

Normally there is a delay with any character.

Ok there are other reports of people suddenly losing access to their Brooklyn dlc, so it's not just you. Apparently it's even reducing their stash size by 50

Not sure if it's a PS-exclusive bug or not

How do I get the Meret Estate Cypher Key?

don't remember it being available to open on my first clear of PL this week and the second clear i did a min ago didnt allow me to open it either

iirc the weekly reset for that key is Monday, so maybe you already did it?

You can only open the chest once in a week per character. Not sure about the day the key refreshes tho, for raids is 8 am UTC iirc

So just do another character and run it again.
