I'll just say this.. and I won't be commenting on Destiny anymore.. Destiny is an industry wide example on what NOT to do when you have a dominant game in a genre. Instead of nurturing it and growing it and building Destiny 3, they steered away from it, started venturing into other IPs by neglecting the core dev team of Destiny and the whole IP is now in danger of being out the door.

I truly hope, and I can see some really good signs so far, that Ubisoft and Massive, truly put resources and all their energy behind Division 2/3 as it is positioned so well that it might be the dominant looter shooter for the next decade. It looks like they are starting to do that, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

it is always usable.. you can run it without high bleed resistance/haz pro because it doesn't really damage you that much if any. And there's a thing with the talent on it that if you have Payment In Kind procced fully on every reload you will not bleed as long as it's up. The reason people don't like it is because of the bleed effect and slowdown you experience so they try to mitigate that with bleed/haz pro resistance cause they hate the effect.

people are split on it.. but it is without a doubt one of the highest DPS weapons.. I am in the camp of "love it", but I actually love Chatterbox more. It's just the way you play too. I did the math and some personal tests.. Chatterbox with 1 talent stacks will do 20% less damage than fully proc-ed Backfire, and about 10% more damage than Backfire if you have a 3 stacks (75% rof increase).. so if you have a feel for chatterbox it can be a better solution than Backfire. Especially this new season with additional 30% fire rate increase and 30% damage increase based on zones.

Depends on how much you enjoyed the first.

Imo, they made it alot easier early game you feel alot stronger.

But they added a HELL of a lot of one shot mechanics to add to the new dodge mechanics and WASD controls.
