just wipe on the boss and do the last fight again.. don't do any CC/DoT effects on the boss as it is a bug that is already known and devs are working on a fix. Also, try to clear the room first from other npcs, then do her. She will de-spawn and the new wave of enemies will appear. It's not the end of the world. People use headhunter sniper to do a lot of damage on her at once so she despawns before any CC effects are applied, this includes her dropping her own grenade at her feet and setting on fire.

Especially since they removed World Tiers, you can now get to Lvl 40 for free, meaning you can just buy the base game and do the endgame stuff.

Basically, the devs realised people would need to catch up, so they added a new mode called "Countdown", that allows you to focus farm for endgame stuff very quickly.

Just focus on getting to Lvl 40 by doing all the story missions, and you'll be fine.

its true actual statistics works that way but in this game its not like that, i opened around 700-800 caches last season got 6-7 exclusive 0.5% chance items and 150+ exotic items

In div2, we don't have RNG protection, so each cache opened is an entirely fresh chance.

you would see similar case for a 5% chance bighorn drop from summit floor 10, people get it under 10-20 tries usually

I like to describe very low drop chances as %'s, but reversed.
So for example, you don't have a 1% chance to get Ouro from an Incursion boss, you have a 99% chance to not get it.

It helps temper expectations, because sometimes it can take hundreds of attempts to get something rare, and it can seem unfair if someone else gets it in 1.

depends where you are in the process. At the start, targeting a weapon type (eg smgs) in countdown and donating everything that drops until almost all weapons of that type are proficient, then move onto the next weapon type.
For named stuff, buying 20 copies and donating them.
For gearsets and brandsets, either wearing or donating copies (takes 100 donations)
For skills and named/exotic sidearms and spec weapons: equip while you use more effective builds and level them passively
For awkward named/exotics that you can't easily farm or use - donate materials (always donate before you hit max on any material type)

very easily. you goto events and activate the global event, then go into inventory and the area between specilization gun and i forget the other side is a slew of stuff you'd go into for the the global modifiers where you activate it there. then those will always be active while you do things in the open world missions included. think they turn off for countdown though?

i will say, i have seen a lot of OD builds this week and all been with tinkerer...

the global event is over, but the next time one's active: go to your escape menu > top right > tab over to "Events timeline", and "details/activate", you can read how each one works as they come.

Nope! Global Events are specific world modifiers, like "golden bullet" "hollywood", etc.
the current event is a way to get special caches that contain rare and unique items.

@granite perch Just a heads up: season pass XP is not the same as SHD watch XP, you earn different amounts for different things.
e.g. SHD watch xp you can easily farm out via control points, but the season pass you're better off with something like Priority Objectives XP.

It's well worth farming out for the long term, it's a very good piece, same as your ceska chest with 2 crit attributes on it natively.

@valid sable Yes and no, the chance for exotics to drop in Countdown is so absurdly low, that the main benefit you get from Countdown is the ability to buy caches, which are effectively what you get from Prio's anyway.
still, worth a shot!

JTC is genuinely a not half bad farm, but only really with TL and directives combo'ing up. It's arguably the best chance out of everything if you get really lucky.

i tried to find the post about the chances for things to drop, but i don't know where it went. There was a post before the stretch goals started where they put in how things could drop in percentages. like exotics was a 5% chance to drop in the caches but 40% chance on the chatterbox kind of thing
