Yup. The biggest bottleneck for endgame builds/upgrades has always been exo components instead of any materials scavenging points can buy. You can get 50ish exo components weekly if you are working through all the weekly projects across the 4. Also season xp from the weekly projects is also pretty big, so 4x those is kinda huge for season leveling

I played Destiny since it launched in beta.. TD2 is in many ways better than Destiny 2. Especially with build making.. exotics are truly exotic and builds are far more tailored to how you play. The world is also far more immersive and action packed than Destiny ever had.

It's more grindy than Destiny. But it's rewarding. Everything is available via targeted loot too.. so you just need to play. The replayable missions change their feel whether it's night or day, weather system, whether it's invaded or not, your build actually matters.. it's not like 5 options and a super and then you farm for weapon perks ad-nauseum.

While TD2 has less content technically than Destiny, the content it does have is much more enjoyable to replay and the world is intense, very action packed and not like a bunch of harpies or whatever that you can one shot everything like in Destiny.

After almost a decade, I started playing TD2 like a month ago.. It is by far a better game.

The only thing Bungie and Destiny has on TD2 are raids and quality of them.

PvE and PvP have tons of variety within builds. The same build you do in PvP isn’t gonna be effective in PvE, same for PvE to PvP 20-50% of the builds. Due to how Div 2 is with arm. Not balanced in PvP…
