There's a "textiles vendor" that spawns in the same time as Cassie, and is unlocked as well when you find the Snitch, his name is "Danny".
He sells some caches for Textiles, 500 for 1 Exotic Cache being the notable one.
With Priority Objectives, it's barely worth it anymore, but it's nice for those of us that have 10's of thousands.

It won't make main missions unavailable but it will do with some side missions. To get to NY without it counting as a boost, complete the main story missions and strongholds up to capitol building, then the three strongholds again but invaded this time, then a final stronghold called tidal basin.

that's probably a more targeted way.. so when the AR drops as an exotic from the boss on Summit it might be St. Elmos.. I did it on Challenging the other day, I farmed a boss on about floor 30 and he dropped like 2-3 exotics in 5-6 runs

yeah.. so set the target loot to AR.. get to the boss, kill the boss but leave at least some enemies alive.. open map, go back to lobby, repeat.. you will get exotics to drop from the boss and since you target loot is AR it will be an AR that drops most likely.. that's probably your best way to farm specifically for St. Elmos

the higher you go in Summit floors the higher the chance for exotic to drop from the bosses (from my understanding)

ideal scenario is floor 90 (3 bosses)

yeah you can kill the boss.. you just can't clear the floor.. then you just open the map and go back to lobby.. and so on

you want to get the checkpoint for sure on whatever floor you are

but you won't lose the checkpoint if you kill the boss only.. you have to clear everything to clear the floor, so just focus on the boss, get the drop, and then -> lobby -> back to elevator

If you're lacking exotics overall, it's better to do Countdown to get stray exotics as well

Worst case, you get trash fodder from exotic caches to reroll your Elmo's when you get it finally

yeah.. you basically want to target any floor with multiple bosses but I mentioned above.. when I played. I was doing it on floor 30 on one boss, maybe 6-7 runs.. I got 2-3 exotics from that, can't remember if I set the pool or not but you get the idea.. it was litterlly like 30 mins of runs.. so 40 is fine.. just put it on challenging

It's not that hard to find a group as you think. There is a lack of players doing raids so people actively look for them. And better join community server for lfg, this server does not even have voice channels (even tho you don't need mic yourself, people prefer to use voice chat for instructions).

I'm super super impressed with The Aparment SMG.. this thing is close to dishing out damage to proc-ed Chameleon.. Perfectly measured talent is super strong on this gun. 50 mag rounds, I'm hitting 10m+ on heroic named elites vs 11-12m with proc-ed chameleon and Perfectly Measured doesn't require any prep time.. plus Apartment has insanely fast reload and very good handling.. might be my favorite gun so far.. not to mention that 38% increased damage is "total" weapon damage, meaning it actually increases crit damage as well.. such a great gun and I slept on Perfectly Measured the whole time.

Tis true, they didn't get nerfed recently, but they aren't in an overly good place in general I feel.. Running a Tier 6 skill build with every attribute leaning into skill damage/haste, and offensive skills still feel pretty weak imo. Plus they are then instantly negated by hunters and other end game enemies. Having tried recently to put together some high level skill builds, it's quite apparent why the majority want to run strikers/DPS focussed builds.. Running skill builds feels grossly ineffective. I just think they deserve some love and in doing so that might bring back some more build diversity.

well most of the skills builds that i run and i rarely do are eclipse protocol that rely more on CC and dot damage from status effect than real skills, not gonna comment how good or not artillery turret is rn because i know some guy who is gonna pop any moinute now might be able to comment more effectively

I missed a day of the buff but I went pretty hard for the other 2 days and I only got like 380 lvls or so. No doubt I dont really know the best strats or have a squad. I was just solo spamming Public Executions, 5 directives on challenging/heroic.

where if you level the season pass to 100. then you can further level it from 101-110 and it'll repeat itself from then on giving you things, this one gives us a couple cosmetic outfits, cosmetic scorpio skin and 5 brooklyn activation patched and between all that will be a couple caches, one i believe as crafting materials? if you want can repeat it but the next 101-110 probably just the caches

The loadouts get removed from characters and added to a global account database and then each character within the account has access to the loadout. Sure it's code heavy but they did it with collectibles 🤷‍♂️
