What happens with the Spec Trees, is that you can use the Specs straight away, but you also get access to another tier of rewards for completing the Challenges.

e.g. an outfit for Gunner, other non-clothing stuff, etc.

Sorry, I know this was a few days ago. But, you actually can open exotic caches and share them with anyone in your group. This excludes purchased caches whether it’s with E-credits or Countdown or other currency. If they’re earned though, like global events, or if you complete your weekly SHD project with the other person in the group, you can share those.

I started a mule charter just before the event started, and it occurred to me that this is the perfect week to just spin up 2 more because I can quickly get them to 40. So that is on the to-do list. But I'm trying to plan out how I'm going to stay organized.

I find it a bit boring though, so I do it for a little bit, then do something else. I try to get XP reward priority objectives for missions as well. A 4 directive heroic mission + priority objective XP reward can be more than 10M and give 15+ levels

I think in the early days Lincoln Memorial was fairly popular for grouping, but nowadays I think missions aren't really an activity people tend to matchmake for all that much, unless it's the weekly legendary, weekly scout, or manhunt mission the day it becomes available etc.

I use Pestilence in my Ongoing Directive status/wd load out. The Pestilence has good weapon damage to scale off and the plague and bleed go together well thematically even though they don't directly synergise. I like it.

Unfortunately I think the numbers get pretty complicated with Pestilence. It would be the weapon damage x <number of enemies that have the plague> x <number of stacks each have> x <how long they are alive for> x <how many enemies the stacks transfer to> -> the run the whole calculation again for each one. It gets pretty wild to calculate that and it's going to be situational. 😟

Yes, I think that would be true if you were testing this in a shooting range. But in a fight if you plague a bunch of enemies and they are taking damage while they are running around, hiding behind cover etc and it's spreading to enemies beyond your burst range that's going to be useful. But, yeah, it's a DOT weapon so it's going to be situational as to when it would be effective.

I just did some quick napkin maths. Pestilence seems to have higher base damage than Bullet King. If an enemy is alive with plague for just 5 seconds that's additional 50% weapon damage x up to 50 stacks on top of the base damage of the weapon. That looks pretty decent to me unless I have the numbers way off...

Also damage is damage whether you get the kill or not.

bk is one of the lowest base damage so thats not surprising or its force
and to kill enemies behind cover, a nego build would just be better overall
if an enemy is being shot at, and stays alive for more than 5s, then you have a problem with your dps in the first place unless its a boss

shooting or dealing damage doesnt mean anything until the target is dead, an enemy full hp or 1hp is doing the same damage to you

thats why killing a target is always better than doing damage to multiple

thats why nego is strong, you do both

thats why oneshot build are strong too

the best defense is a good offense, a dead enemy cant touch you

Yes, that would be true except plague spreads to enemies you haven't even hit yet and enemies you can't hit anymore (such as behind cover) 🙂 . As I said: it's situational.

It's a team game. If someone takes of 90% health from an enemy and I finish it off, I'm not going to tell them they're rubbish because they didn't get the kill.

Negotiators is great too. One of my favourite loadouts.

This is actually my load out ha ha. I just ran Roosevelt with it now because of this conversation and there's actually tonnes of situations where the DOTs have time to tick in group play. Not just behind cover but heavies and such too. The numbers at the end are always great for that load out and it buffs the team too. I named it after a disease that's known to cause hemorrhage and it's probably in poor taste so I won't say it here.

I just find DOT stuff satisfying though no matter the game 🤷‍♂️ .

Its possible to farm since the drops are refreshed if you return to summit lobby right after killing the boss, assuming you don't clear the floor or pick up loot

Or you can just pull a sheer amount of luck like me and get it to drop from the DZ

I'm finding that the scavenging skills directive is on whether you select it or not. So if you're finding your skills stuck, run around and collect ammo etc and you should pick up the green trophies even if you can't see them
