you can create some pretty great combo's just from the Grey-tier clothing, equipment cosmetics, and some colour pallets.

@shell tartan There is no way to "trade" for loot in div2, you can only get it from someone else if you were in the same group as when they got it.
tl;dr Dark Hours Raids, and ask the team to give you a spare. That is 100% the best way.

You gotta treat the mode like you're playing in level 1 at the start

Don't listen to them. Descent sucks in the beginning. You're going to get facerolled a lot, and you're not going to get through very many loops at first.

It's heavily RNG dependent, and if you don't get a decent starting weapon/skill it can curse the run right there

You have to keep doing it, even if it feels like you're just smashing a square peg into a round hole

You need the NSA tech credits so you can purchase things like armour on kill and other benefits that persist through each playthrough

Once you start getting those, you'll see that what was once a bad start is manageable

You'll start getting farther

Just keep doing it

It forces you to learn the talents, and to return to the core gameplay mechanic of the game: Cover.

If you don't get a talent you want, reroll, but only reroll once

Your build is heavily reliant on the credits you earn between each room (which do not persist outside of descent)

So reroll once, if the talents are garbage, don't be afraid to skip for the credit boost

Leaving a blockade up, or all control points under enemy control in the region of a settlement should prompt all control points to send a huge raid party to the settlement, and if you do nothing, you lose the settlement and have to do a mission to get it back

Unlocking challenging and hard as you progress rather than straight to the deep end and rage quitting when you get one tapped. As a shepherd it's hard to watch people disconnect at such a low level with a high chance of them never coming back to the game again, all because they think they can tackle heroic.

frequently you wouldn't want to run the Gift on a gearset HH build, as the max damage scales with weapon damage, not headshot damage. If you're running high end it's probably a top choice though

if you're one-shotting everyone you want to one-shot, that's all that really matters. You might be making it slightly more difficult for yourself to start the one-shot-chain, but if you're happy with the tradeoff when why not

They've sort of made it part of the seasonal journey but that plays into the rewards being materials you need to maximise gear viability but they definitely did more on applying additional tasks, challenges, time limits etc. It still functions visually the same - i.e lack of windows, tunnel vision etc but the core gameplay loop is somewhat different. At the end of the day, putting an exotic behind a game mode is only good for anyone wanting to complete it until they get said exotic.

Capacitor was Kenley tower locked and after that you just never needed to back - especially with countdown.

I've been using them religiously since last Wednesday on a striker build with the oxpecker. Only had the issue twice where the smoke deployed but I wasn't ghosted to the enemies around me and another time the armour regen didn't kick in. Unsure if it can be reproduced.

I belive the refractor gear or any healing ability or bonus armour can stunt the armour regen from the gloves and I just assume there's inconsistencies mechanically when it comes to the smoke, it would be like when you fire the grenade launcher and it falls through the map instead.

The "notifications" menu within twitch itself will tell you when you've earned a drop.
Don't worry too much, just have the stream active for 3 hours+ total, you'll get them all.
