I always get excited when I find the goblin, but that excitement loses it's luster after you rob him two or three times in a four hour play session

Also there should be a hunter mask for people who can one-tap the hunter out in the wild and kill it, item named <Placeholder> with a description "You shouldn't have this" and whatever texture Div2 uses as it's missing texture placeholder for the mask design

It's a long-standing bug that Heroic True Sons bounties only appear in Constitution Hall. We reported this years ago but all we got back was that the developers were unable to replicate this. Funny response but to say they don't care about the game is overreaching, because if they truly did not care, we wouldn't be here. We wouldn't be getting an upcoming DLC. It's worth making all agents asap. You wont benefit the same as a high level mule agent, but as you climb in level all the created agents do as well. Its basically x4 xp. If you gain 5 scavenging points on your main, you'll have 20 total to harvest.
Plus 4x projects, 4x chances at raid and incursion chests weekly.
Extra 450 storage. When you hit high level you just delete 1 and do the mule thing. You'll only even need to delete 1 at any given time so you're able to gear 3 agents if you want them usable for running projects or w/e

An example, I main shields, and before the AI would just say things like "It's a shield" and "We need to flank" but they never flanked because their AI was as bad as a program coded in COBOL from the 60's

Div 2 doesn't have gear scores locking you out of world tiers, and although I have access to them all now, I feel like im getting absolutely rinsed on Challenging but Hard is too easy. Am I missing something? Do I stay on hard until ive got drops, upgrades from that tier good enough to take on challenging or do I just suck up the endless rinsing in challenging, grabbing the odd drops I can get before i get wasted in the hope ill slowly creep up until im not getting rinsed.

There used to be world tiers but they nuked those for the "Level 40 end game" when WONY came out. Challenging and higher is going to require investment in builds. Your best bet is to run countdown on challenging (since challenging is hard, heroic will be a nightmare). Keep running countdown until you can get as close as possible to the build you want to use (I would recommend strikers or heartbreaker as a first build unless you're already a pro and just need gear, whatever works for you)

Set your targeted loot to what you're looking for (Brands or green gear sets)

Then keep running countdown until you get the gear you're looking for with the rolls you want

#

Over time, proficiency in gear and investment in gear you're proficient in will begin to fill the gaps and make challenging easier, and then you'll be able to move to heroic

The harder the difficulty (directives excluded, those are only for bonus XP) the better the gear

SHD 1000 should also be a goal

If you're not SHD 1000, you're not quite at your full potential

It sounds ridiculous, but it's pretty easy to obtain at a casual pace. With a decent build (not even optimized) you can run challenging with a couple of directives to keep your time to kill lower, and just run around doing only public execusions, speakers, and control points, and the occasional mission for whatever reason

With gear score no longer being a thing, the equivalent is the stat rolls on your gear: you can theoretically find max stats on any difficulty, but the minimum of the average of your stats is increased by 20% each difficulty level (from 0% at Normal to 80% at Legendary).
Any difficulty above Hard also removes purple quality items from the loot pool (with occasional exceptions), so it's really worth pushing yourself up to challenging as soon as possible. A good build will make a world of difference to how easy that is, so check the spreadsheet pinned in #td2-build-advice for some guides.

You almost always want Damage to Target out of Cover as your third stat on every weapon

DTToC I think is meta because it's the most applicable to any situation, because your enemies are out of cover more often than not

Damage to armour only applies when there's armour, so once they lose their armour, you lose that bonus

DTToC is also situational, but if you're face-tanking someone out of cover, once their armour goes away, you'll still havew that damage bonus as long as they're out of cover

#

I hate to recommend meta stuff, as I like running off-meta builds, but in this instance, just to find your footing, you'll really benefit from the extra crowd control St. Elmos Engine offers with it's shock rounds

Plus it's ROF, crit chance/damage and magazine capacity make it a pretty good investment

Only problem is it's an exotic and as such you're at the mercy of RNGesus

strictly speaking the chest is only openable with 5 keys, and after your first run of the week on a character only the final boss will drop a single key. If you run it five times or more back to back you can open it again

The rerolling of the stats for exotics are at the crafting bench, there's a side character next to the crafting bench to get the exotic blueprints to reroll the stats

The specific perks of the stats for each exotics are fixed but not the values itself so it's not like high end weapons where the 3rd perk and talents can be rerolled to different perks and talents
