It's a passive farm and you might get some good items out of it. Plus all the stars so you can open exotic/named item or materials

@fallow idol There's no scheduled server restart, as that only really happens once a day, 5 hours ago. If it's a legit restart, should be instant or near enough.
@hazy snow If you capture all the control points in an area, Hostage Rescue activities start spawning in (green handcuffs), and rescuing them will award a Bounty as well. That or just reset control points and wait.

AFAIK the 5x XP event is locked to Lvl 40.

Quite a lot of new stuff, but we're about to start a new Season in a few weeks @tardy ether and there's a mass gear+gun rebalance coming along with a bunch of new systems and even bigger changes.

e.g. Manhunts are being totally reworked.

Oh there's more of a theme of buffing underused, rather than nerfing what's popular.
There are some nerfs coming, but nothing too drastic. Some of the MMR's are going to need to be swapped out for Hotshot builds, and Ouro is less broken now, not a whole lot else.

Cinderblock is Hyenas and if you're using Hotshot/Determined/Headhunter it's not as fast as farming Outcast

If you're looking to maximize SHD and minimizing time, that's the way to do it

Sleeping giant is outcasts, they don't wear helmets (apart from the heavy) which makes determined headhunter even easier when farming. Plus the enemies have limited and easy spawn points to watch

Incursions are always the same difficulty, they're designed to be done with a team.
Not that tricky if you have the right build (just use the striker DPS for now), know the basics of what you're doing, and listen to the Team Leader.

not played in years, i ask this question like every year or so lol - did the game ever add anything to the open world re: difficulty ? Or is heroic still the limit if you just wanna do stuff like checkpoints etc ? Like not legendary as such but maybe player scaling, or just tuning the difficulty so high end builds didn't shredd everything ? Or did they just move away from supporting the open world in favour of the new game modes ?

most efficient way is Legendary Floor 10 in Summit + 7 directives + 1 Challenge, this means 8-9 levels per run

otherwise, activities in open world (public executions > propaganda > supply drops), Heroic 5 directives (you have Golden Bullet active so ammo it's not a issue)

I completed the event yesterday after around 18 hours (6 hrs Friday and 12 hrs Saturday), half of the time was consumed on opening caches and delete the trash that came out of them

Yep. dz exclusive, but for now with 5XP + golden bullet event..you can get pretty fast from stars= named cache.
In heroic with 5 directives.. i got 5 level just 1 cp.

I just clear the entire map and all bounty, then reset. + the all project, except dz. Idk the levels, cause i dont remember my shd b4 event..but almost done with the xp bonus. ~80m left. the only "annoying" thing is the 20 cache "limit". But my expertise is max, & i have all exotics ( except EB ) , so i dont need anything. Just open, and deconstruct. Inventory is sort by new, so just spam the " V " and TAB 😄

Went from 586 SHD to 938 in a day.

Hopped between chaining events and bounties in Two Bridges (a lot of hostage, public executions, and enemy broadcasts in a smaller area and the bounties are almost always in that one apartment building) and doing the first 20 floors of summit with 4 directives and hitting 10 or 11 challenges.
