I assume I can’t make builds tho till I beat the story seems like one of those games
Called it
once you get to 40 then you can start building
or at least its smarter to wait for build making til u hit lvl 40 cuz thats gear lvl cap
You can but shouldn't.
As you level up gear gets weaker.
Got it
for thosethat like pulse your gonna be happy
So just do the story I presume
Is this open world or literally can only do story
full open world just watch area levels
its open, not very big
Well
Its open world, but with closed off areas
Like missions, offsite areas, etc
yeah you not gonna find much before lv 40
It’s been 10 more minutes and I’m still in matchmaking 😭
Can I not do this solo or something
good luck even trying to find someone around your level with matchmaking
you definitely can
That was difficult I see why your supposed to match make
I just had SIX Ninjabike bag drop in a row. Man the RNG gods hate me today. Just want the momento bag lmao 🤣
You shall sacrifice in order to get what you desire.
Lootcifer is waiting 😈
🔥 😈 🔥
Seriously I can see players leaving the game in droves if hostile modifiers are implemented as described. Yes games should be a challenge but they should also be fun. These hostile modifiers look horrible.
@heady bramble They can be disabled, they don't award xp from being active.
"leaving the game in droves" is a new one, I'll have to add that to the doomposters bingo card.
You can give feedback on what needs to be changed instead
What does doomposting mean 😭
it's when you paste funny memes of Doom™ games in chat
Lmao
Yeah exactly, like that robot guy from the 2016 one thinking hell energy is a good idea and putting the word "crypto" over it instead.
That's impossible to happen
If I'ma be honest there's barely funny doom memes
Hello, Is it possible to transfer your The Division 2 PS5 save to PC with Ubisoft Connect?
@gusty linden Unfortunately no, there's no crossplay/cross save for div1 or div2.
Shit
wew I'm glad the division team didn't mess up the story with this finale
I mean, not a crazy amount happened
Story is kinda in filler mode ever since the dlc delay
I mean... keener is CAPTURED?
could have happened and actually happened are not the same
wonder what PTS Phase 2 will be about
Not much is happening to actually progress the plot
They have to split up the story so there isn’t a giant gap between the dlc
Nah, he went in there willingly to help prove that they can trust him.
willingly or not he is still captured
He 100% was not captured. That means against your will.
okay, how would you describe being locked inside a cell?
Willingly locked in a cell? Helping to build trust after you tried to genocide all of Manhattan.
I do hope that part is acknowledged at some point.
"built trust" haha yeah right
There's a 50% chance that at some point, Keener is just going to open that door and walk out to give someone some kind of info/help someone out.
Ya know, the "cool guy in a cage" trope.
or he could evolve into a final boss
We have a PMC villain that is linked to the Illiminati. We are 100% not having him back as the BBEG.
This is video-game story gold.
To be clear: I'm not knocking it. I am 100% for this stuff getting crazy.
Is the mooncake event item dropping from loot goblins today?
Nah she's likely going to take over ISAC's job even more, since in the stream we had her voice playing as soon as Yannick exited the safe house.
who?
Game Director.
Check out ubi's twitch channel, they had a really good stream a few days ago, showing off the stuff coming up next Season.
Happiness Heart Attack.
might want to see a doctor
You need to "finish" the Mooncake Event first, so I guess be up to date with the Projects.
Poor Shaeffer. That cute little helmet really didn't do him much good
I meant "do you think we will get to use ANNA outside of story?"
There's some speculation that she'll replace ISAC overall, but I hope it's either a choice or we still get him in some capacity. His VA is too integral to div as a franchise.
I wanna see a choice to swap fully over to rogue, but I know thats more than likely not gonna happen
I had a vague hope that Seasonal Characters were going to have that sort of thing as a feature, but it was a long hope and they're not happening now so
Being classified as rogue is a death sentence
My bet is actually that all agents are classified as rogue in d3 and the story is about us regaining control and reinstating the division
When the SHD was still what it used to be, sure being Rogue was insta-death.
but now? There's not enough people left to enforce this stuff anymore. If you're helping out your community, they almost certainly don't care.
This would’ve been tight.
@gusty linden It's a great way to get both yours and the new account permanently banned.
Don't bring this up again.
🧍🏻♂️
What was bro trying to do 💀
It's best you don't know.
Gotcha
where is the vendor that sells the vindicator at online search just brings up a bunch of blogs
My game is a little gray, what do I have to change in the settings? (td2)
At the descent door next to the white house
oh ok makes sense blog picture made it look like it was in descent its self
Wouldn’t recommend vindicator rn but its getting a pretty good buff so next season it’ll be worth using
eh just completionist and havent really played since like thanksgiving last year
My game is a little gray, what should I change in the settings? (td2)
someone help me I'm new please
-atrivens-
How do you solve it then, I'm new to the game and it's gray
Can you actually post what it looks like in #ask-td2-community
Lol they nerve sledgehammer so it only counts for the player that inflicts it …
More of a fix than a nerf, was kind of broken before.
I like it befor when the supporter can inflict it so the team do the damage
Thank you for the reply!
Did you tag yourself for a reason?
it gives a nice morale boost?
thoughts on changes so far? they look pretty good to me
Good aside from a couple unnecessary nerfs like one of the ak variants getting nerfed
mostly good buffs to underused things
some odd nerfs, like the entire shotgun category, snipers getting some really bad reload time (mantis included), with one or other odd case in each category (MP7, AK, double barrel ??)
also "we are looking at all weapons" proceeds to ignore sweet dreams for the 14th time in a row in balances patch
I'm presuming that its a bug that 'The Harvest' isn't actually rolling with the talent?
There is no talent, it has different stats than normal revolver
It has 20% more damage but less rpm
Ohhhh. thats, weird. hm. was kinda expecting it to be like Unhinged or something like that
Rivens that one was used a year agpo
is Zero F's talent good?
it's a great backup if you are having trouble or trying to do some flawless challenge
So the Hoarder is not dropping any event item current nor past, is a bug right?
according to the site announcement he should be dropping other items
currently using it with Striker's
apparantly he drops purple and no named item whatsoever. website is wrong.
yeah, only way to get more now is to keep farming red dragon thru the project daily
pretty much
Is it not a per-character project?
nah you can keep repeating these last few events
Pro:
-
new seasonal functionality is a welcome design from the previous model. Forces players to engage themselves into the game’s world to progress.
-
the increased A.I difficult/damage output renders AI to be an actual threat. Being caught off guard or out in the open can be lethal to the player. I like how with 3-4 shots from even a red AI we can be downed/killed.
Cons:
-
there’s still no overall punishment/ consequences to being killed, which reduces the overall intensity or sense or urgency when completing an objective. We get killed, spawn back and we continue on like nothing happened.
-
Seasons 2.0 still feels incomplete and seems like it will become repetitive like the current seasonal model. The game needs an overall fundamental solution to mitigate and address the gear ceiling.
Suggestions:
Seasonal Journey
-
for seasonal journey objectives, there should be requirements to find certain pieces of gear instead of just X number of items. Have objectives where players have to find X amount of named pieces etc.
-
trinkets. Re-implement the value of trinkets into the seasonal journey, where players need to find X amount of Y trinkets. This re-introduces the looting factor into the game that kinda ceases to exist.
Player Death Consequences
- implement a gear durability mechanic. When a player gets killed, the gear/weapons they are using at the time of death lose durability. Just spitballing here, but let’s say 20% of durability each death. So after 4 deaths, the gear loses 80% of its strength/power. Players can repair lost durability with the use of the gear's relative materials. For example, if you need to repair a piece of Gilla Guard, you need X amount of Gilla Gaurd fibers to bring that piece of gear back to 100.
What does this address add to the game?
- gear durability would add a layer of intensity to the game while creating a sense of urgency during engagements, well because players don’t want their gear to lose its strength. This also increases value in gear that has been stashed away while increasing the value of other gear in the game.
Overall, I think seasons 2.0 is an optimistic change, but still needs some fundamental changes in order to keep each season feeling different and developing a motive for players to want to keep playing and returning every season.
Gear durability…
Are you insane
Like are you actually insane
Now if they made the gear repairable but you dont actually lose the gear, itd be different.
But nah, no destroyable loot pls thnks
I forgot to add, gear can be repaired.
To add a sense of intensity to engagements. If players need to repair gear they would obviously have to farm for the designated resources they need. By resources I mean the related gear pieces components. If I need to repair a Gilla Guard piece, I would need X Gilla Guard components as well as generic materials.
I would legitimately quit the game series if this was a feature
That is actually horrible
no use arguing about it. it's not a part of the core game that can't even fix fragile armor, so implementing gear durability is certainly WAAAAYYYYY outside their wheelhouse
game. they
You have proven multiple times that you have very hardcore beliefs that don’t belong in this game armed
It would just punish people who get wiped more often.
But then the issue would arise, either players would start to keep copies of the same piece of gear ie. a ceska holster with crit chance & damage on it with a blue core, but now you have 2 or 3 incase one breaks which wouldnt even solve the problem of low stash space. Or players would just not play on higher difficulties in risk of losing their stuff.
You can edit posts.. im genuinely stupid
Yeah these systems punish the average player
definely bad for new players
Which leaves only die hard fans, which is not what Ubisoft wants
ya know what systems reward awesome players though? 1886 25% damage buff, cause 1886 is ❤️
Wait, you want gear to degrade? I'm going to have to ask you to leave.
Goobisoft wants that new player money
welcome to the last 3 days of the PTS chat
Gear degradation is the worst part of any game that has it.
It's actively been removed from franchises that used to have it over the past few years.
couldnt agree more
Gear degradation is for games that you know, arent looter shooters built entirely around gear
dude suggesting durability to items on death
It really depends on the game and how they go about it tbh.
Once Human has a pretty okay system since it just showers you in the mats you need to actually repair the gear, so its more of an inconvienance than an actual mechanic.
Someone said that gear getting worse as you use it is a good idea, every single other person in chat is making fun of them.
Yeah its a bad idea
it forces a Build to only be usable for like a couple times before you have to replace it
"ya know what would be fun, your Ouro getting worse as you use it, enjoy that 1/100 farm!"
at this point i think he just wants division to be tarkov with something else that is not division
ie punishing you for playing the game
why tf do you want to punish me for playing the game, id rather get punished for a skill issue
Hes made it clear that he wants the players to be forced to restart and wipe, he loves the idea of hardcore, and he wants gear degradation
Oh I just saw who suggested it.
ArGho', you may be playing the wrong kind of game. The wrong genre even.
Now if it was a HARDCORE ONLY feature, itd be different
i mean i already think that wiping on death is enough for hardcore
Since that mode has been in beta for years. Might as well try it for a little bit and see how it goes.
MSV just removed Gearscore because no one finds that fun either, they aren't going to add in something much worse afterwards.
thanks for making everyone get to level 40 as the endgame goal
Still, gear shouldnt have durability losses and then becoming unsuable at 0% durability
Think about the RNG farms we have for certain items, now picture you having to do those weekly to get another copy.
Having to re-run Regulus' Project to get a 2nd one.
at most id only think about maybe they'd be slightly worse and then you have to get someone to repair it if you really want it to be implemented
i'm laughing here, cant even drink my tea
and i think its a bad idea
Id like to point out he said they degrade on death, aka meaning, this only affects people who want to experiment and end up dying, people on hard difficulties, or people new/bad
i mean i recently played shadow tower abyss and it was alright
Blinder, you and I both know that the game kills you all the time.
janky game that is pretty much durability simulator for everything
Yes, I agree its terrible
Due to my location on Earth, I get the "cant fire my gun" bug about once every 2-3 days.
Hate that bug
wait ima do a bit of refining, why not instead of punishing, it rewards.
base performance at 0% durability, but better performance if you repair it
disabled in PVP of course
So Expertise but worse?
yeah, still not a really good idea
Play Hardcore. Problem solved.
actually yeah i may start up a hardcore slot today
see if i can get it to level 40, complete WONY and put together a build for it
@hybrid ore hey random question you dont need to answer, thinking of reinstalling div 1, how different is build crafting in that? Only played through like the first third of the game
It's been long enough now that I'd honestly suggest asking one of the regulars.
uhh, no targeted loot, so may take a while to put together something if you are unlucky
More specific?
Talents require specific perk amounts
Like OG Div 2 Armor before 2.0
it's "solved" farm classified gear and win the game
you cant really choose what gear sets you want to get
so dependent on luck
Just Farm Resistance
God that sounds miserable
Not suggestion gear degradation, I’m suggesting gear had durability in which is only lost if a player dies while wearing the gear. Gear won’t degrade if unused.
i mean htere is some direction with incursions dropping stuff like "boots and holsters only" for gear sets
welcome to the division 1
Imagine having mod TL on every CD run and that being your only option for farming.
now imagine there is no CD and no Summit farm.
Yes, that is what degradation means.
i mean there are many types, some only degrade if you take hit, if used, if you die and so on
What day does this season end?
Its pain, I remember spending DAYS in resistance farming classified caches just to get the pieces I needed for Reclaimer
Hopefully sooner than this conversation about gear armour loss.
Real
i mean i only was able to farm 5 pieces of my classified set in the first global event
im hoping I can put together a classified Striker's as my first classified set
i got lucky by farming open world bosses and getting hte last piece 5 days later
Whether it degrades on hit or death, it's still an awful idea for div2.
anyway, back to the Division 2
if you wanna talk about Div1, #td1-general
whats that tho
Agreed. It’s just a suggestion. I’m not saying it needs to be in the game nor should it.
Imagine having an Expertise Lvl 26 Ouro, then it degrades and you have to spend potentially months to get a 2nd one, and then pay for it to get to Lvl 26 again.
Rinse and repeat.
Speaking of things that have no point being discussed because they're not nor will they ever be relevant to Division 2... did you know that S4714 is the star closest to Sagitarius A* (the blackhole at the center of our galaxy) and it reaches a peak velocity of 53,543,280MPH with is 8 PERCENT the speed of light
Yeah ima just straight up quit td2
Unsubscribe from star facts!
How is it a suggestion if it shouldn’t be added…
Thank you! You have been subscribed to more Star Facts!
Expertise is a neat little system where you can gradually improve your favourite gear moderately over time.
Unnecessary, but kinda cool.
You don’t lose the expertise on it. The gear sets still retain expertise like how they do now. Just that one piece of gear loses its utility.
Uh have you played div2 before?
for specalisation, should I use gunner or firewall with Striker's Battlegear set
generally gunner
Div2 will be a good game when ridgeway gets a buff
Like seriously, that's not how Expertise on an item works.
firewall was niche for ouroboros striker, but thats dead now with TU22 😦
Ya know this is all starting to make a lot more sense now, not knowing how the endgame systems work.
I mean the ghost recon profile pic also kinda gives it away
Gives away the mentality hes at
You gain knowledge by losing it
Game series struggling for a new game
Bro... Splinter Cell, please...
Need a new one already
Div 3 needs to come sooner than 3 years.
I'm boycotting any future game until they give me the first game's VA back.
Gta6 gonna release before splinter cell remake at this point lol
GTA9 gonna release before splinter cell
ironside?
We are confirmed getting a remake of splinter cell soo
Soon™
Yea
Oh not splinter cell, i mean ghost recon.
Ironside can retire, dude was in Total Recall.
i know we are, was talking just about the VA situation
Which first game, wildlands?
first game... wildlands? u fookin wot
i'm also processing that a bit weirdly
Tbf wildlands is the most well known game in the series
anyway, should I get a Hardcore slot runnning?
if you want it
for people born after 2009, yes
I like open world stuff more than I like people saying 10-4 and moving very slowly.
but this is an 18+ discord server and you must leave now
my goal is to get to level 40, complete WONY and put together a build
I mean ghost recon didn’t get massively popular until future soldier
I mean I like both, wildlands is in my top 3 favorite games but I still want a realistic gritty ghost recon combined with what made wildlands good
i mean advanced warfighters was prob more popular
Huh???
Oh she'd be one of the misc NPC's. Okay yeah I can hear it now.
I forgot to mention in my original bullet post that gear can be repaired with the resistive gear components.
But why
The idea is not getting better.
I'm gonna repair your brain with resistive gear components! Do you want that?!
Wildlands FPS mod on Ghost Mod or Breakpoint with the Spartan mod.
Wildlands VA for fem-nomad. She's a generic NPC in div2.
neat!
Neither of those answer my statement and are mods
Y’all need to chill. It was just a suggestion. Not saying it needs to be in the game. Jesus Christ. Be nice if one of y’all came up with some ideas, suggestions and feedback.
i did already
Dude you post large paragraphs a lot
I don't actually care, I'm just joking around sorry friend
i just dumped then into the PTS chat
didnt mean to upset ya 😦
The reaction was a bit over the top and @azure lintel you should apologise for it, but if you post ideas, expect criticism and notes.
i know devs read these feedback because i have gotten stuff into game
@hybrid ore is there anything you hope gets changed gameplay wise from div 2 to 3
Separate Jackets.
I'm up in the air on the rest.
I meant affecting gameplay not customization
I want to pick my support staff for missions, and it will always be Cindy "Drone Operator" McAlister
That does legitimately affect my gameplay.
but pure gameplay? More interaction with the world. Closing car doors and shooting tires is of course mandatory, but more things like being able to stand up fallen over bins for cover, or grenades maybe causing damage to certain types. Just little things that don't change too much but make it feel more interactive.
Have the world reset on relog/daily/weekly reset, of course.
Tbf, I think those would require Rockstar levels of game development
I light a candle before I go to bed and ask VideogameJesus to let Massive use UE5 instead of snowdrop for d3, but he never answers me
And we know how long it takes Rockstar to develop games
Theyre capable of building immersive worlds, Assassins Creed proves it
Snowdrop is still great, I mean it still looks amazing and clearly still works fine.
....it's a different studio.
Ubisoft did not make div2.
Because I’m passionate about the game’s development and think TD2 has great potential to expand it’s players base. TD2 is too good of a game to only see the same 2-3k players. If I didn’t have to relocate out of the country I would’ve taken a job at Ubisoft two years ago when they were hiring.
You guys for some reason take my suggestions personally as if I’m not open to other ideas.
Ubi published div2?
You don't think "how to fix fragile armor" couldnt fit in a succinct email from Malmo to Bucharest? Snowdrops a nightmare
....publishers just put out money, they don't make stuff.
It doesn’t see 2k players though
Yes but still under the UbiBrella
It was more a general statement that under ubisoft their studios are able to make interactive worlds
You also aren’t open to other ideas as you keep pushing your obsessions without thinking about what the average and casual player wants
Kinda crazy how fragile armor hasn’t been patched. What breaks the bug is if you are revived then the directive functions as normal again.
I have been open to any other suggestions and ideas, just nobody has actually presented anything than what’s not already in the game. I was the only person who replied to that guys post and then got roasted. I’m getting the dev treatment first hand.
The alternate idea is already in the game. It's not having the feature you keep suggesting.
honestly think you are jumping too much to the point the features you want are incompatible with current game and instead would be a forced change that is not healthy but create more issues
You’re right 1.5-1.8k on a good day.
If I started to spam-post massive walls of text about how we need Warframe's parkour system, you can bet people would call me out on it.
I get that Im a negative person, but I really want to vouch for the game on for this upcoming season
not every game needs tarkov wipes or breaht of the wild constant breaking and crafting to be good
If you are looking at steam charts, thats just not an accurate estimation of players
It never is for games
statistically though how many people play Div2?
we dont know
For a start, it doesn't factor in ubi-connect, which is where most people play div2 on.
At least 5k per platform
At least
alltogther?
Hard to say, Steam is the only platform we can see player count.
Steamcharts themselves aren't even all that accurate.
More like 5k total between all platforms.
that's the point, one cannot claim absolute truths without correct information
also, as a PC player, am i allowed to crossplay with Xbox and Playstation Users
Dude, it really seems like you want the game to die with the things you say about it
nope
Agreed. But it’s still enough to see trends and ballpark active daily players count.
It's SUPER not.
so everyone I play with are PC players as well?
yeap
You have to also factor in players playing through ubi as well on pc
Yep! all PC players are as one, steam and ubi-connect together.
at most it's crossplay with amazon luna?
Luna is still a thing?
not sure honestly
should there be crossplay between all platforms?
I live in a country where it's either not possible or never arrived, so Luna is above my paygrade.
Bro. I want to this game hit 20-30k daily players which it deserves. Obviously there is a fundamental reason why player retention is low. What are your suggestion to increase player count and retention?
Yes but it would probably shatter the div 2 code
it's not easy to do and could cause drastic issues is roughly what the devs mentioned
It's be great, but yeah never happening.
could it happen in Div3 though?
It should be in div 3
possibly
oh in div3 id bet money on it happening./
new game so they can build around that no issue
not much, but money.
and how screwed would code and balancing be?
There should, but devs mentioned the core coding of the game wouldn’t allow it.
I dont play a ton of multiplayer games, but Crossplay in Diablo 4 makes the game a laggy piece of poop. like its manageable, but if i wasnt regularly selling items online I would NEVER turn on crossplay
Xdefiant has crossplay so most likely
Nowadays, multiplayer games really need some form of crossplay to survive. Its a new standard
Warframe manages full crossplay with mobile and physical platforms, so it is possible.
in Div1 I played with a PS5 user tho in survival
so I was wondering if crossplay would be possible
that's curious
div1 does not have crossplay, it has never had crossplay.
but was it PC with PS5?
I forgot XDefiant even existed. Poor Ubi (not really) poor Massive... I swear if they had made a looter shooter with the star wars IP and they just let massive so their thing shit would have been diamonds
between ps4 and ps5? sure. but not between different platforms.
Its not msv that made that game
Actually div2 did have PC crossplay with a different platform for a while.
anyone remember Stadia?
Lol
i played a game that player numbers tripled due stadia
that game is now dead
So is Stadia lol.
unirocnially only thing that was keeping that alive
Imagine how bad you must be at managing things if you screw up something as simple as Stadia.
I wonder how many exotics will be in the dlc
three fiddy
I thinking 4
It's the "guy that pushed kinect for xbox" of mess ups.
Well how many did WONY have on launch
Technically any Exotic after WONY was released is locked to WONY.
until recently.
Well at launch of wony
Season 1, so Coyotes and Memento, IIRC.
So the best exotics cool
can I farm memento through countdown?
Big horn, lady death, tardigrade, imperial dynasty, coyote, bullet king
Imperial, Bullet King, Lady Death, Tardi, Big Horn (?)
season 3 bud
Maybe we actually get good exotics for the dlc (unlikely)
memento was late addition
Coyotes was 100% season 1.
Once a Season is over, the Exotic gets added to the loot pool.
coyote was season 1, memento season 3
Id have to look at the NY wall but I dont care enough to turn on the game again
i cant remember what gun we had for season 1
i do admit i type too fast without fully thinking
Just look up the first Manhunt, it's listed there.
I wonder if we will ever get another hunter themed exotic like memento
The conversation was about xdefiant
Not outlaws
i know i brought up outlaws
I wish we had like some indicator in-game what exotics & guns released when. Kinda like how Destiny 2 does
Xdfiant would’ve cooler if the game retained it’s mature, dark tonefor its characters. I don’t need to see a Cleaner throwing up double peace signs, doing some goofy dance, while saying some cringy ass line. These people burned kids alive for fun.
A dark tone wouldn’t make it better
if anyone's curious about the older seasons, at least some of them, scroll down until you can see the pass: https://thedivision.fandom.com/wiki/Shadow_Tide#91-95
i dont think they did it for fun, but yeah xdefiant was wild ride
You are a negative person fr. None of the characters matched their personalities from their relative games.
Im negative, but Im not wrong
why tho
The problem with xdefiant is gameplay
huh no exotic gun
when it was released, it was called the COD killer
my honest problem is netcode
That is every FPS to be fair.
but lets be honest here, only Activision can kill COD
Because it was entirely cod players happy about no sbmm
back in the day it was "doom clone".
nah some are called halo killers
Nemmy was with the launch of Tidal Basin right?
It's like how for a while every live-service was called "destiny killer", but the real destiny killer was bungie.
sometimes you just survive by doing nothing
Still waiting for the day we get an exotic weapon that pairs with mementos and picks up trophies automatically without having to pick them up
valve tactics right there.
If they call it the Momento I will pay them actual money.
Whats funny is bungies cycle of one year of peak, another year of doom, and back to peak
Call it mori, memento mori
I'm just going to be calling it the Morty in that case
should have caled memento that tbh
lets see if someone gets that one.
Memento is called that as thats essentially latin for trophy
We need more exotics that have synergy
I vote that, but also give them terrible pun names.
I need another Sweet Dreams.
are made of tears?
Exotic ar that deploys a charge from your equipped hive on consecutive hits
dang got it wrong, it's "made of this"
And the goofy presentation of the characters.
ah was gonna say, still glad someone got that one!
more 80's synth band lyrics as exotic names thank you.
Lullaby enters the room
I exclusively refer to that one as the Rockaby.
actually, you may be getting your wish sooner than you thought.
They said transmog, which I don’t mind because I hate the look of coyotes and want to use the umbra mask
But its not the same as skins
I'm almost certain some already do have skins, which transmog would cover anyway.
Well merciless and sweetdreams have “skins”
I have a distinct memory of another one having one, I swear I'm not crazy.
Maybe
I want to see stuff like memento get a descent themed one with green watches, or coyotes get a btsu mask with red smoke
Maybe bighorn with a white tusk skin since its a legendary unlock
when will we get to use Exotics Cosmetically
I want that BTSU datagloves and Memento Drip
surprised we dont have a blue core exotic mask that is just tachanka helmet
What on Krogan planet is a tuchanka helmet
tachanka, the dude from siege
I want that other russian helmet, its similar but has ballistic glass on the eyes
this?
it's easier than rambling a weird russian word you might never heard off
oh the one from that dumb meme.
No thats what I just talked about
Merciless/Ruthless and Lullaby/Sweet Dreams are the only two with "skins".
Though for a second, I thought you were talking about the Enforcer.
Altyn helmet goes hard tho
Yes the first 2 times I got that answer covered it, thanks.
Just saw this. What do you mean?
Bad idea. I can not explain it simpler than that. Bad.
Wouldn’t mean you’re wrong, though.
Here's a cool sugestion: Let us hide our skills like we do our signature weapon.
I want to see my swanky backpack I just spent $3 on.
Yes it would, it's an awful idea.

That’d be tight. Make our agent clean.
I do that bynotchangingmybackpacksince2022.
Just use different skills
Also certain skills help, but it would be nice to hide them.
I just use the signature locked skills then swap to unequip them.
Don't need them anyway when I just blast everything to bits in CD.
It's all I ever play anyhow since I'm grinding Exotics.
That's why you can just have yours seen.
Honestly I'm all for hiding more stuff on the screen. It's too busy.
@frosty wadi actually that's my big thing to change: let us remove as much clutter from the screen as possible.
I don't need an ammo counter, I don't need health packs. If anything a visual marker on us would be more immersive.
I think there is a lot of clutter but a lot of it is necessary
Pull a deadspace.
I just have my UI set to hide the Hud.
I think division handles its hud very well
Actually even better, steal one idea from WF that I'm sure they didn't invent: a key pressed shows up your team UI. Same key vanishes it again.
~90% of the UI renders no actual use to the player, it’s just clutter.
well not 90%, but some should be more contextual.
Thats just false, not even opinionated
For the amount of stuff crammed into this game, the HUD is surprisingly tidy, to be fair. Even the way active/passive talents are shown is way better than what most games do.
Im fine if the hud gets more simplistic in d3 but I think the hud is great, unlike something like breakpoint where is like half the screen
It just needs some optimization is all.
You can also customize said HUD to scale elements down or up as needed.
I agree, it is. However all I want is to be able to hide elements of it as I personally don't want them, or maybe even just as needed.
Almost everything in the UI has sound ques to alert the player.
I think if you scaled it down enough, it's practically invisible.
Just add a directive that hides the UI and be done with it.
Meaning you don’t need the UI.
i do think it's mostly clean in this game
Can’t you just turn it off
Yeah hud is done very well
star wars clone commando is one of those game that has hud meant to be protagonist helmet
that just ends up bieng too busy
while metroid prime has really good clean examples
It's the same in this game, the UI is being projected on to your Scan-Tek eye lenses.
I think for the ammo counter, skills, armor can only be moved around and not toggled like the XP bar and radar.
which is why shocks hurt so much.
well in that game when goo hits your face a visor cleans it
I once again have to say, I feel like you want a different game that isn’t division
it's quite funny, but it suffers from being a bit T shaped like clone troopers helmet visor
Got the tactical windshield wiper
I just want to make it clear: I don't want to permanently remove the UI, just disable elements like you can in a lot of games.
this isn't a new idea.
I mean, there’s already a Fog of War directive, why not add a No UI directive?
I get that, but can’t you just turn it off yourself?
I'm thinking about what the UI would be like if it looked more like TF2's HUD.
You can, bits it’s free XP.
unironically yes
Why do you need a reward for that
Star wars so goofy at times
Like Riven was saying, a minimal UI would enhance immersion.
Yea
whats the difference between Invaded dark zones and dark zones
Black tusk
other than that
I'd like a directive where every NPC that spawns is a warhound.
Uhhhhhh
We need party directives that make the game more fun.
I mean, I don’t, I already toggled the radar off before Fog Of War was a directive, why not turn on the directive for the 25% XP boost.
If we're asking for weird directives, I'd like to request one where every one is an Outcast Rusher, but they all play the headless bomber sound from Serious Sam.
We need all directives available at once in open world
I want the grunt birthday party directive.
You don’t need a reward, fog of war is because its an extremely useful tool for combat
Zombie division goes wild lol
Oh they're not zombies, go look up the sound. It'll change your life.
I know but I had that thought
I read that as the bit in ME3 where they just repeat each others names endlessly and was very happy for a second.
And I also want my agent's head to get bigger with every kill up to x4 the size. A perfect reflection of my ego.
Please MSV. make this a directive. We need it.
I miss big-head mode in games.
Invaded DZs are occupied by Black Tusk. ISSAC functionality is limited and you’ll not be notified about nearby rogue agents by ISSAC. Checkpoints also do not have defensive measures like non-invaded DZs. Black Tusk also drop higher quantities of electronics. Invaded DZs only have one supply drop at a time that is guarded by 4 named enemies Invaded DZs have the hardest hitting extraction music in all of gaming.
Let's sumbit a formal petition to get big-head mode in Division 2, Rivens.
Black Tusk sound tracks hit harder than my mother with a wooden spoon and those are facts.
I would, but I've been blacklisted for suggesting "punch keener simulator 2025" too many times.
I'll do it. But I have no clue how to start a petition.
That isn't the year of release, it's the number of punches you need to give for each level.
That's a lot of punching.
kicks are worth double, but cost more stamina.
You'll be just like Bruce Lee by the end of it.
Ngl I want glass cannon but as a directive
40% player damage but 70% enemy damage
Uhhhh. Just run glass cannon. Tf
Nah it would be funnier
change.org always gets results and certainly isn't just a waste of time.
Plus glass cannon is just not good
It's better when the pain is shared.
Sharing is caring, right teammates?
💀💀💀🪦
Since we’re on the topic of directives. What do y’all think of a no-respawn directive? When in a group if the directive is active players can’t respawn unless the group is wiped. Similar to how heroic missions are.
That's almost like Halo's Iron skull.
What’s that? 👀👀👀
If both players die restart from last checkpoint.
If only one player dies, restart the whole mission.
"similar to heroic missions" means players will respawn when you reach kill thresholds or location marker or opening a door lol
That’s tight.
not just heroic but legendary or raids/incursion
they don't have to revived by you to come back, the mission can revive them
You realize heroic missions are no-respawn areas, right? If the group gets whipped, the mission restarts to the beginning unless the group reaches the boss or encounter rogue agents.
Wait. I’m braindead. I know what you mean now.
lmao
yeah so unless you mean what i said goes away too, it does nothing
if it does go away, i can see it being a very interesting directive. kind of like hardcore-lite but only for a mission
A no-respawn directive would be tight, but without what you said. Been grouped far too many times where players just die to get armor kits/ammo back. Which again I think the game needs to offer some sort of consequences to dying.
yeah game respawning is used a LOT in speedruns deliberately to teleport further ahead or to get skill cooldowns back
if that goes away it could be an interesting dynamic
Cheesy as hell.
is Bullet King with Strikers good
I used it in a couple of countdown matches and it was fun never needing to reload
It's okay to use but not the best option, have fun with things at times
It depends. Low base damage.
@hybrid ore I did it. https://chng.it/HYRkzRXw7f
wait wait wait
they are making the LVOA Full auto again ?
me as an og player from div 1 and 2 is very happy !
the rpm didn't change
it still rifle
I am pretty sure, as well as another rifle is merging over to full auto if I am not mistaken.
When it comes to live I recommend using umbra because of the rpm increase
Umbra will be very good with rifles now
Yes
when does the 5x xp event exactly start? sept 28 CEST 9am to oct 1?
Players wouldn't lose their gear, just the duribility. A piece of gear doesn't ever get destroyed, just durability is effected, which players can always repair as much as they want to as long as they have the related gear fibers and basic materials. A chest piece for example that has 140k armor but is at 20% durability, loses 80% of it's armor value until repaired. I wish ya'll read my bullet points in full instead of picking parts and sh!ting on my head.
Not sure. Didn't know they posted dates for that yet.
There s a counter in the seasonal menu stating when it supposed to start but im far away from pc and im not sure if its friday or saturday 😅
One sec. I'll check.
5X XP event starts in 4 days, 1 hour.
thank you very much 🥰 Im taking that day off
It's on for 3 days, that seems excessive.
With golden bullets, hell yeah. dont you know accidentally if 5x xp applies to expertise leveling too?
It applies to 1000 SHD Levels. That's what it's affecting.
Might be a bit busted if it earned super fast Expertise too.
how do I do incursions
I really like the PTS changes and the new season structure.
This would be perfect for seasonal Characters 😔
I agree 100%. 2.0 feels incomplete without seasonal characters.
Division is a Looter Shooter, but the Looting aspect is missing for nearly all of the veteran players. Iam jealous for all the new people playing this awesome game with all things to come with 2.0
Maybe Brooklyn will bring that feeling back for us all
Agreed 100%. I played maybe 2 hours of the PTS just for the mere fact there really isn't thing to do or an incentive to keep playing after obtaining all of the gear we want/maxing out our character. None of the rewards really matter because I don't need them. Going into each seasons starting off with grey gear and having to loot for higher end gear in order to progress the seasons would've been sick. Once you're maxed out on gear ~99% of all gear/rewards/loot loses it's value. Seasons 2.0 with wipes to me would've been like each season being a 4 month long survival mode. Would've been tight and it's shame seasonal characters are not coming.
💯
That's how many people are feeling right now.
I don't think they cancelled it because the majority were the ones that wanted it😭
Actually thinking about how much fun 2.0 would've with wipes frustrates me to no end.
Reddit is not the game's entire player base nor is it the majority.
There was severe enough backlash for them to do a U turn I'm sure there were enough that would rather it wasn't a thing
once again, someone please update me
If it's the feeling of starting over people want the option is there already without gating seasonal content behind it
It really makes me sad
Top left meret estate
same. My heart aches.
Kind of up to what you want to use really.
I wanna try System Corruption
But I heard it isnt very good
Go for it. Try it because you want to, not because of what you heard.
and how do I know if it works?
What are you end goals with the build?
Run around in DZs as a Rogue, and Kill everyone.
idk if it could work for hunting down player rogues
Only way to find out is to try. that's part of the fun is coming up with an idea for a build, looting for the gear and then trying it.
I can already put together system corruption, just no idea if it will work
did they buff exotic drops recently?
I just got a waveform ninja kneepads and collector chest in 1 hour
try it out in the DZ. Dying doesn't really matter in TD2.
me too, I got St Elmos and Memento in 1 hour
also, how good are both?
elmo and memento are S tier imo
even after they nerf elmo
memento for solo play is great
nevermind I had schizo, i dont have System corruption
still what can I put together
What exotics should I keep and what should I scrap
You could keep at least one copy of each cause why not.
for da collection
"It will be a fine addition to my collection"
Keep:
Elmo's
Chatterbox
Coyote's
Catharsis
Memento
maybe NinjaBike
BTSU gloves
Scorpio
Mosquito
Trash:
Chamaleon
Rugged Gauntlets
Busy Little Bee (imo)
Open the map and go to top left Paradise Lost: Incursion
It's okay but not THAT great
Actually, I disagree
Waveform is used on skill build for exemple
But it's worse than brand gear.
Busy Little Bee can be a good burst of damage when stacked
This is my point. There's better stuff to use
is it possible to still get the chill out mask ?
drop from the Hoarder
where is that
It's a random encounter with a lot of specific spawn point
One is at the start of Jefferson Trade Center
If my memory is good
ok thank you
Depends on build. If you run some turret/drone stuff that does not need haste etc, then it's best to put everything that is not skill dmg to chc/chd. For other builds like gl turret, oxi etc you won't even have a space to put that holster on.
should I keep backfire?
Unless you want to sacrifice dmg attributes (CHD) for hazpro or kill your brain farming Yaahl gear so you don't bleed to death
Yeah you can just use random smg and get better dmg without all the hassle. But then again, you can simply keep it for collection purposes. Cause there isn't much else to do anyway than collectig useless stuff, cosmetics etc.
I would keep Backfire if I want to have fun
Is there a way to farm skill damage mods?
I finally got a Hardcore slot up
Is incursions only on normal mode?
skill damage gear mods don't exist, if you mean +damage skill mods for specific skills then you just have to farm skill mods generally and pray to rngesus
ahh was enquiring about skill damage gear mod, didnt know they dont exist
yes, but it's not the same as Normal difficulty in open world/missions
skill haste is usually next best option
Do incursions demand specific builds
If you want to complete them without struggle then yes.
In general 3x full red dps + 1 medic.
Looks like we're getting an outcast incursion
How did you know it's an outcast one?
Check the pts general chat last image sent
Thanks for the pointer!
when will start x5 xp event
92 hours from now
Oh damm that came around fast
Armor keeper!?
Why do you keep armor
What is the best way to make use of the x5 exp for a new player?
Farm open world with as many directives as you can handle. Public executions give you the best exp/time ratio generally
Hotshot/Headhunter/Determined will make the 5x super easy and you can probably finish it in a day of grinding. 5 directive control point will give 812k, then 4.06M on 5x
Golden bullet too, so even easier!
Very true, forgot they're overlapping
its ture x5 event will be 700mil xp ?
Yep, 1000 levels
wow
Hi! Does anybody think that nerf Striker and St Elme still a good idea? It’s not…
Because health is useless even using health ninja bike build
Why not.
Cause we spend a lot of time to get/up our build and change the meta is not a good retention method.
Well strikers will still be meta.
Are you kidding? Strikers+ Elmo is the easiest build to farm
If you think Striker will not be meta then you don't know how to math and you want a boring game
Tbf strikers is boring
I don’t agree. Be overkill is pretty well…
What's overkill about a 15% reduction in amp damage? lol
Be overkill?
There are higher-risk higher-reward builds out there.
We don't want risky. We want safe and comfy
Ive been having fun with Vigil + Thorn in the PTS. it's the less risky version of a Regulus HHF
Sounds fun
Bit of micro-managing needed though.
What's Thorn talent again?
Perfectly Brazen
And that's the landed shots do more damage thing?
Yeah
I haven't even made a build with that honestly
So, the combo Striker/St Elme still the better DPS with AR or not ?
Thorn was also buffed massively in the PTS, that's why it's a good choice now, but not previously
It's still good enough. People forget that the P416 was buffed too, which the Elmo is an exotic variant of.
Well! Do you know what’s the new big DPS meta build?
Eagle is 416, Elmo is M4 damage model
Anything with Strega
Yeah, they UP Eagle Bearer!!
There's no point in speculating because some of these changes might not go through and/or make more changes
Strega is gonna be on every kit anyway
Ok…thanks guys for the advices!
Strega is as overkill in practice as it is on paper
Yep. I think they're gonna tone it down
Why is St Elmo's good tho
Potentially 10% per stack but even so, free amp is free amp
glad im holding one of my p416s yet 😄
Elmo is inherently good because it has great mods, big mag and easy to handle along with free electric bullets for just shooting it
It is a great exotic all things considered
70 rounds of electric bullets, what more to ask for
truth be told handling of elmo with striker become laser beam.
zero recoil
Pretty much. Good handling = better ammo efficiency = higher sustained DPS
So I can use it for incursions?
Yes
Yeah
You can use it for anything
Also how much dps is considered high
Well that has a lot of factors
Strikers build, and endgame
Once your stacks are up, I believe it's anything over 1.2M a crit
But that's only with backpack
I replaced striker backpack with memento
Then place it back.
Current DPS I hit after full stacks is around 3mil ish
Should I also use bloody knuckles
If you used word dps correctly then 3 mil is piss poor.
Step one. Don't use memento.
That's already considering Strikers bag
I measured it with strikers bag, not memento
My DPS capped at 12.3M with full striker and obliterate stacks
How TF do you get there
With something that's broken
Coyotes Mask, Striker bag, Ceska Obliterate chest, everything else striker
All red, 52% crit, 172.5% crit damage
For newbie, how far can striker set plus st elmo bring me
Any heroic content. You'll be a brittle little flower but you just have to know how to take angles and play it well
How about legendary strongholds
I think some people can but I've never tried
Yes and yes
Strikers is still the preferable build for most parts of a Legendary missions
Although you may have to make a few changes to it to increase your survivability
Aka shoot more.
Shoot more, get shot less
Build is half of the equation, the other half is your skill level
can i get st elmo from exotic caches?
Yes
should i be running st elmo other than other AR if i am using striker?
Full striker, ceska oblit, elmo , coyote hits the 53/173 mark should see you critting 1.2m+ when stacked ( depending on range and team buffs obv).
I dont put much stock in "total dps" other than comparing weapons. If you can crit for around 1m you'll be melting stuff. Striker Chest hits harder if you can maintain stacks
coyote mask?
An exotic mask
I'd personally get the Coyote first and use just a decent rolled AR while you're trying to get Elmo
Does Coyote Mask Drop from Coyote Boss in Heroic?
or better to just do countdown with targeted loot
Yep, set target to mask and then also buy caches
What build is better than the coyote mask striker build for PVE? Is ouroboros build the best pve build right now?
just striker but replace elmo for coyote
shorter effective range but melts things faster
You mean ouro?
I hope the buff on eagle stays, since it's my all time fav weapon
tbf striker is a strong build but not the only usable dps. nego, highend (HE) red, and hunters fury all have great damage in pve and actually dont require stacking like striker.
personally i prefer nego or HE over striker .
highend?
is Hunter's Fury good with Scorpio and Memento
all brands, gold set, no green (gearset)
yes it synergizes well with both
tried using it in countdown, didnt feel good tho
but striker is still the best DPS set right hence everyone is defaulting to it
the stacking mechanic feels bad
countdown is more longer range stuff, striker, highend, nego better for that
what content will hunter be good in tho
@full zinc is that the three piece Prov, Fox, Coyote and Grupo?
striker is highest single target damage set. nego on the other hand is the strongest multitarget set . the damage transfer from its talent allows it to out damage striker in a multi target environment
generally yeah
I need to put another one of those together
could also be fenris, ceska, grupo, coyote, fox's , contractor's
ceska oblit chest, fox's knee, 4pc nego with nego bag
this would be a rifle/ar configuration. can swap fox's for coyote
Someone know when the snowslayer get Patch
found an image i posted before. this is my goto for nego #td2-build-advice message
Looks like it's slated for 21.5 so the next game patch if they do one this season otherwise it'll come with next season.
Anything wich allows you to be close to enemies. If you know the spawns well you can stunlock them easy. Hunter's fury/Regulus headshot build is insane. Ppl play it even in legy
it's a high risk high reward build
kills give quite a handy armor on kill to let you keep playing agressively
the stun mentioned above and some other damage bonus
if you play shotgun, you want that stun to give time to reload
should I use bloody knuckles with Strikers
I mean you can but it's typically better for high health boss burns.
do you want to go around using grenades and punching people for the damage bonus?
So tommorow is next Game Update
How did you come to that conclusion from what I wrote?
im just waiting to replace it with coyote mask
I predict no one using modifiers after about a week
why?
Is the grenade glitch patched?
just starting player new to PC division, but have played quite a lot of 1 and 2 when they each came out, anybody got any tips or advice?
anybody having trouble with the mooncake project not advancing?
Which part are you on?
stuck on The red dragon for 2 days...
That's the end of it...
already cleared 4/5 times
You can just refarm the harvest daily.
funny, didnt check... thanks
Nah
@full zinc any idea if the CMMG banshee is still any good?
It will be pretty good next patch, but will be overcame by other smgs like smg 9
i honestly couldnt tell you. last time i touched an smg was when floor 10 xp farm was still active and it was a chatterbox to make my oxi rapid fire . im all ar/rifle for dps stuff
It works well enough
SMGs are mostly good
the ones to avoid tend to be the tommy/thompson, SMG-9, T861 (look like an uzi)
UMP is awkward as a similar to thompson but at least it has lots of mod space
I had a build with m1928 that was hitting 1.5 mil. Long lost tho. Was hf for sure
Just to confirm, you can get elmo from caches right
yes
I swear to god MVS better not cave to the youtubers upset with the new season, like its obvious they want feedback because of the two part pts but Im worried some of the good things are gonna get reverted
Good things like?
Like how 70% of the patch notes are all buffs
Like the worst parts of the nerfs aren’t even being discussed by the people upset
To me the worst nerf was the one on sledgehammer. That was a buff that benefitted groups. I am not sure if the Mosquito's buff is adequate to make up for the loss.
There are a lot of buffs. My favorite weapon the honey badger got a buff of sorts so I am happy with that.
Sledgehammer is a pretty devastating nerf, but it was also insanely strong beforehand
Yeah, but it made groups have to coordinate. It promoted thinking about encounters and planning an engagement like an ambush. People could not just rush in and try to hog up kills like you see in many mm groups on heroic. Sledgehammer promoted a tactical way of going after the initial wave of an encounter.
It was what I liked about it. You had to plan things out.
It promoted thinking
(Throwing a grenade and shooting)
The group holding back for 3 seconds and staging a mini ambush while getting in position to take advantage of the buff.
Where is this
Because I can assure you I have never seen someone use sledgehammer casually
Its always to melt a boss
Raids would do it and some of the groups I would be in would do this. We'd quietly get into position while a person with a fire grenade tosses in grenades to clear an encounter quickly as you suggested.
The idea is that you prep an encounter. Sledgehammer rewarded that. It reminds me of X-Com 2 where there was a pre-discovered phase where you could ambush the aliens before you jumped in.
I heard of groups doing this on legendary towards spawn points.
The idea of sledgehammer is for the team to erase the existence of the boss because of a single grenade
I think the nerf on sledgehammer is a little too much but it also is justified
It was far better for mobs and groups of npc's. There was the use in speedrunning for bosses, but often it was best at taking on mooks composed of elites and veterans.
This nerf hurts that type of planned engagement.
There is still the use of opportunistic. If they were going to nerf sledgehammer, then I wish they had buffed opportunistic. Maybe they also could have made Wicked a group buff as well.
People who play heals don't have a lot of options besides being a heal-bot to help their teams.
Opportunistic is a good talent already
There is the survivalist buff, opportunistic, fire/emp grenades, fi chest buff, btsu gloves, scorpio final buff that can help, but these all have to be played in a particular way. Sledgehammer gave the healer another strong option.
This is in raids I am talking about.
Raids are forgettable and not the source of balancing
People talk about making the game more helpful for groups and other styles of play. This was a source of that exact type of play.
So what you are saying is that you want the game to be more solo and dps orriented, right?
I don't think that is a good thing
My man they are literally nerfing solo dps
Sledgehammer is getting hit so hard because it was stupidly strong
It was strong, but I would argue it had use. My suggestion would have been to just keep the group buff but lower it to 15 or 20 for perfect. Keep the group play element and synergy there.
As for nerfs on my builds... My st elmos is only at proficiency 4. I use the scorpio for healer/status builds. Striker is a go to for me, but I also use a myriad of High end builds on all 4 of my characters. These nerfs barely graze me.
They do effect new players which worries me.
And I doubt just buffing Oportunistic would fix the issue with Sledgehammer
If nerfs and buffs, which is like the bread and butter of live service games, is enough to deter them from playing further. Then maybe they shouldm't play live service games at all
Cuz frankly, I'll never understand "Only buff, never nerf" mentality
Hey, lets power creep everything
And then we hit a point where everything is weak again up until one build and we buff it all again
Since last season was less tactical apparel stuff...would you think that next season will give us something like Y5S3 apparel again ?
Maybe. But I don't see why every apparel needs to be military/tactical
When people are complaining we aren't getting Chinese bikini models I don't think military/tactical is what others want lol
Personally, I'd like more casual/everyday apparel for Division agents.
Don't they go back and forth? Like one is not the next one is ?
Yeah and then the one after was tactical
The problem with this game in season 1 that broke a lot of the base was the fact it was difficult to become powerful and then Dark Hours showed people how weak their builds were. We 'reintroduced difficulty' in the beginning of year 2 and had a whole lot of people hate the experience with high ttk and the only weapon worth using being the m1a. We've been through the show of difficulty increases being the ideal only to let us down time and time again.
Oh lets not forget how it all drove people to the turret exploit that was amazing, right?
They try to make something for everyone yeah
Yap all you want. Hate MSV devs if you must. Throw tantrums if that makes you feel better.
End of the day, new players need to get used to the meta changing. And frankly, it was a huge mistake letting Strike be meta for years
Nah, I have been through this exact show several times over the last 5 years. There is no tantrum to throw. I know how it will end up. It will play out exactly the same way it always has.
We can nerf striker, but there has to be a clear path to power or else the game will fail. I said it 5 years ago and that point still applies today.
I am not a badass. I am just a guy who has been through this for years.
But yeah I hope for more from something like Y5S3 that would be cool...the new suit is cool tho haha
Mosquito is pretty strong
#1286632365724270687 message
You're a crusader with an axe to grind. You're nothing
How easy is it to use is my concern. It was always clunky before.
It is very effective on single targets with lots of health, exactly what sledge was used for. I know your saying you used it in groups, it won't really be useful for that but it's not intended to
No ax to grind. I have seen this spiral play out. It is why I have multiple builds and use non-meta items.
You did too, if I remember correctly, right?
It's also a separate amp from sledge, which still exists you just need to apply that yourself. I think the sledge nerf will just have more people running bloody knuckles in those situations and they will realize how insane that combo has been
Did what?
Weren't you in raids that used sledgehammer?
Of course
It has been the meta for those for a while.
we just got that
But all those raud situations, with mosquito as it currently is (and I absolutely don't think it will go live as it is tbf), the pts mosquito is FAR stronger
Time we get (a good) tactical apparel event
The last tactical apparel we got was actually awful
And even if the mosquito is just a single 40% amp like I assume they intended, it's still very strong
I totally agree here
It needed a buff. As for the bloody knuckles. I am sure a have a set or 2 or 3. I may have to stock up on more and let a lefty or 3 get deconstructed.
Lefty+bloody for boss burns will be the way imo. Experienced incursion people have already figured that one out.
Perhaps the mosquito can work as intended. Generate a real sense of threat from bosses allowing tank builds to be more effective.
I need to do the incursion more. I admit it.
Tank builds will literally never have a place in the game
Theres like 2 or 3 that work
I think we will just see the tank or healer run mosquito, and people will do their own sledge, and boss burns will be even easier than before.
Which..... With Achilles, sledge, blb, etc, its already FAAAR to easy imo
I like the new mosquito a lot
It is also fun and rewarding to plan then execute a play like that. It makes the game more than a DPS hungry hungry hippo like you see in Heroic MM.
It feels like a gun for tanks to enable coop
I fee like achilles pulse is a failed attempt at making sniper/skill hybrids more common
It was always too random unless you put a lot of your primary attributes into skill tiers.
That is my hope. I would like to see elements and mechanics in the game that encourage group play, synergy and strategy.
I want some element of difficulty, but I would like it in a way that forces players to adapt rather than just make NPC's more bullet spongey. The playstyle I want to see nerfed is the Hungry Hungry Hippo Heroic MM style of play.
Tanks are gonna be doo doo as long as there isn't a threat mechanic and if there was a threat mechanic we'd probably abuse it to all hell.
There is a threat mechanic. It is pretty much DPS. There is no taunt in the game.
Decoy baby
There is that and Aegis takes advantage of it. I would like to see it improved or buffed with aegis.
if mosquito aggro works properly then we have something now for aggro and support
