I tend to run heartbreaker as a daily driver since some people overlook that it doesnt just give you bonus armour when you hit someone thats pulsed
Gives you a stack of damage too
And its 1%, which is more than strikers .65 without a bag or chest

Well, skill builds do lack some top damage, I’d agree, but their inability to kill stuff fast is what really sets them back. Every global event where it’s ‚kill 100 mobs with your skills‘ I kinda cringe inwardly

The Ortiz set was a fun little set, but it’s really more of a niche/meme set. I mean, ‘set x amount of mobs on fire’ is cake now. Sweet.

The first thing I’d look for is to make a hack proof skill set. People who play countdown need this!

Maybe a firefly build that makes your firefly zip around and zap mobs over and over for a couple of minutes.

The pb with skill build it's the same is div 1 : despite the name, it's not skilled at all to use them, so they cant have too much damage otherwise people would just spam them without even looking at their screen

They also have huge burst damage already so pvp wise it's not great

Maybe make it so that if an effect is already applied, the next hit is damage (scaled off of the grenade). Would be pretty dope because you could switch from damage to cc on the fly

Resetting cp , clearing one next to a safe house, then repeat sees you only traveling a short distance and having a guaranteed spawn.

Heroic 4d execution is around 460k

Heroic 4d cp is 720k

Something like sleeping giant is right next to safe house. Someone running a HH build will clear that very quick...

Again some CPs allow you to force a spawn and clear enemies from only a few locations. Navy plaza being my fav has only three spawns when done correctly allowing you to clear it in less than 3 minutes with no event active.

Then I start Googling and read multiple places it will, in fact, drop in Countdown... Can someone confirm for me that Catharsis will drop in Countdown even if I've never had it drop before?

afaik you get it from the exo cache first. the good thing is you can be doing both anyways. countdown is faster exo caches than ge, so grind cd with masks and report back when you get it
