Just progress thru the game and you'll get new gear. Finding people to play with at level 30 might be a struggle tho. Do you also own the DLC?

You'd be better off searching the "explore discoverable servers" and looking for "the division 2" the other very high pop server(80K members) has a WAY more active LFG and VC channels. You can easily get your run in there.

i would hit up #td2-build-advice , there is a pinned spreadsheet with current top rated builds. these have all been verified good by a pretty large community.

farming in countdown game mode is probably priority. you can select the targetted loot for farming specific gear/weapons. not only will you get a ton of loot, but on challenging youll make enough credits to buy an exotic cache every 2 runs. its 8man team and on challenging its easy for a few experienced agents to carry the team easily.
control points are gonna be the fastest xp for farming shd levels.
daily/weekly projects have a good return on resources and exo components.

Countdown is that big nuclear plant thingy on the map. Use the button to pull up target loot screen, then use the button to matchmake for the difficulty you wanna play. Most people recommend challenging for quicker runs, heroic for higher loot quality

countdown is like a timed mission with a few random taske. access through map> matchmaking> countdown> challenging.
on heroic everyone needs to have a decent set, but on challenging you wont be a burden while youre getting you build lined up.
striker would be a good starting place since its a strong dps and can carry you through any content

You can actually get around that somewhat, the glitch only seems to hit you if you try to use a kit whilst you are under a Status Effect.
If you just wait for it to be over, seems to work fine pretty much 100% of the time.

And make sure you join a Clan (#td2-clan-recruitment) as soon as you can. There's no penalty to leaving them either.

just got back from work, updated the game and went through an invaded mission in which i killed several nade bois with the firefly. towards the end of the mission i decided to equip my turret to progress the challenge even faster... then noticed my turret kills were counting but not the firefly ones.

meanwhile all the other bugs brought forth since the start of the season are still there.

quite inconvenienced but not surprised.

@valid leaf Destroyer Firefly just breaks weakpoints, I can't recall them ever counting as skill kills but they probably shouldn't if they did.

when enemies are low enough health, destroying the weakpoint on GL enemies makes it explode which in turn kills the enemy. in the past it used to count as a skill kill when that killed the enemy. seems it no longer does. i used to always do that every season for the SHD skill kills challenge.

i guess firefly is pointless for me now lmao.

I know how a weakpoint kill works with different enemy types, but I'm saying that it probably shouldn't count as a skill kill because the skill itself is not the thing doing the killing. A kill-assist maybe, but not the credit for itself.
Same as if you're using a Striker Drone and you use a gun to get the kill it won't count.

If they change the name of the challenge to "skill ability kills" it might be a little clearer for people.

i can understand that but it also made sense to me because the firefly was directly causing that to happen, not like blowing up a propane tank now that's obvious but directly killing an enemy by destroying their explosive weakpoint just makes sense for why it counted.

They dont really go "hand in hand" cause they are pretty much standalone - theres no synergy
the one works without the other or better phrase it one doesnt gain anything by having the other (besides the damage increase obviously)

But if we take bloodsucker for exampel - the bonus armor gained would create a buffer for vigilance to not shut down on chipdamage - so there would be an mechanical/gameplay synergy

Unfortunately imo I feel like vigilance is very mediocre… its strong when you’re using a shield or have bonus armor from someone running vanguard but otherwise alone say shooting from cover it will be down more times than it is up

I cleared the entire Kelso manhunt with just a high end build running vigilance no shield, just decoy and blunder firefly but man is it absolutely insane

You have to peek shoot and pop shots

Otherwise composure is way better, weak in the sense you have to be planted somewhere but most of the time you’re in cover anyways

Personally I’d drop vigilance and go for bloodsucker for some fun since it’s down half the time anyways 😂

The biggest tip I can give to not getting hit is to stop using the cover system, and just use obstacles as cover to block lines of sight to things your not targeting. It's all about positioning.
