The Thunder Strike talent apparently wasn't in the recal lib, which they have then fixed in TU20.2 (I guess added) -> that could've introduced some cross-contamination in their DB. If your item points to an ID related to the talent (generic numbers counting up), there's a possibility adding Thunder Strike to the table pushed numbers around.
Considering all items are server-side, this will in all likelihood be fixed.

  Ofcourse everyone and their mom is gonna log in and look at their determined mmr and go "wait, why is the talent changed", but that's not caught on testing characters.
  They test if the Thunder Strike talent was added to the recalibration library as they wanted to and stated in the patch notes.

My professional guess is that adding the Thunder Strike talent to all weapon recalibration libraries changed the ID of talents - but at this point I'm starting to doubt that, because then I reckon it would've been changed.

personally I have always been against kernel level access anticheat systems, this has been an issue in every single one. Genshin had a similar issue where if you had uninstalled the game their anticheat was still on the computer and unpatched versions would still allow for remote execution of code

farming out the hunters takes a time, but you the weapon is guaranteed once you're finished. and after you unlock it, it's available at cassie mendoza every week, should you need one with different rolls.

ngl I failed the one where 4 hunters come at once. make sure to have a build that deals well with hunters (good hazpro, good combo of dmg and survivability, way to CC them), and I also recommend to drop the world difficulty back to normal during your hunt, as the loot they drop outside of masks is nothing special.

Works amazing as a solo because max skill haste mods go brrr and people in countdown stack buffs on hunters and grouped enemies. Having a healer with negotiators with vile with sledgehammer debuffs on a hunter and seeing it disappear is comedy lol
