I fast travel between capitol hill, dz south, american history museum, and jefferson trade center. Wait like 15-30 seconds and the loot goblin will spawn (or won't). Once you take him down there's a chance he'll drop the mask. The one I got was at DZ south entrance but I usually get it at Capitol Hill.

You can indeed do that, but the drop-rate for Exotics in Countdown is something like 0.08%, possibly lower.

how most people farm Exotics in Countdown is run 2 matches, then buy a cache from the vendor. Rinse and repeat.

Ridgeways Pride exotic is quite a fast project, just complete Summit once, then do it again (can go straight to Floor 100 both times) once you have the 5 parts from the 5 floor ranges, then etc.
Shouldn't take you more than a day.

If you plan on running wony a lot it is worth having a build. Skill builds @ 30 scale well as you level. You can also roll some useful exotics from your main to level 30 for use in runs. Notable are scorpio/capacitor/ waveform.

The game will run better with DX12 (at least it does for me) and the crashing problem is not an issue, in fact it hasn't been a problem for some time now.
Just delete and shader cache files you have for DX12, make sure you turn down Volumetric Fog in the graphics setting and you should be gravy.

Which is absolutely OK. You have to play around the weaknesses of certain players (or types thereof). I don't consider it a weakness if someone just sits on adds the whole time, they may have specific aspects to how they play that might make things difficult for them on objectives. Credit to them for trying honestly

On flawless people just think over the whole thing, that's what's people's problem, if they would just run it like they usually run it it would go well. And again screaming or yelling won't do anything, then usually people just leave

Yep. When you take the steps, at that point you're invested. At that point, if you're struggling as a group, then you need to overcome that. You can only really do that by treating them properly, making it clear to them their time is as valuable as yours (because of course it is) and working through it together

The problem with first week was that people didn't know how to actually make builds tho, majority people where running really wierd builds what worked on missions but not on raids
