Game is up and running fine and has been since end of maintenance. Someone suggested earlier to run the game from the executable itself rather than using Epic's launcher and that seemed to work fine for the person asking.

If you guys could turn any weapon currently in the game into an exotic what would it be? Name it and give it an exotic talent. For me it would be the M16A2, the name would be "Salute" as a reference to the 21 Gun Salute used in Military tradition. Exotic Talent would be named 21 Guns, this gun deals more damage as the magazine empties and penetrates armor and plating damaging health directly.

so if you're looking for a long term game, div2 is the way to go.

better is highly subjective when it comes to TD1 vs TD2 community but TD2 is much more polished and generally easier to pick up

I'd say TD2 is way better by a long shot but others will disagree for other reasons often nostalgia and TD1 having snow

Also survival is still exists only in 1.

yeah div1 is kinda more in the "RPG" area whereas div2 is more "arcade", but the latter definitely has more systems in place for long term play.
I can not stress this point enough: div1 is almost 8 years old now, support is over. If you just want a campaign from it, go try out div1, it's very cheap.

The gate strat is a way to cheese the last fight of the incursion. When you stay behind the gate, Johnson's skills can't hurt you because nothing can shoot past the gate. The snipers can't hurt you either.

First you dodge a couple artillery rounds by staying as a group (moving left to right). Martinez will rush into the gate with you. Then you shoot Martinez for 1 armor bar. Then you kill the drone. Then you stand there for 15 minutes and shoot them both.

It's pretty much necessary if you don't have enough DPS on the team.

Yea. You'll be done in <60 seconds. But having good DPS is required. You can even do with low DPS by only killing Johnson first but then you need to run out, dodge mortars, kill adds, and then take down Martinez.

Really depends on the team. Sometimes everyone gets nuked by mortars trying to run out. Sometimes everyone gets sniped. Most of my runs we just ran up there and killed them but I've done gate strat a few times when the team just can't do it. Better to do that then stay there for 1+ hour.

It does indeed. FAMAS' stability issues are overplayed somewhat, it's pretty manageable. It's the accuracy and range that are an issue

As an overall thing, just for Summits and Countdowns where 5% either way doesn't matter, just whack on Elmo

I have a perfect FAMAS and it feels pretty useless without that thicc mag. It would be nice to have more of a choice with what to put in that slot, but them's the breaks

Most commonly it's low SHD score. There are smoothbrains that think low SHD means the player has a bad build. If your SHD score is above 1000 and you're getting kicked then it's most likely your build.

It could also be your build if your low SHD score btw. Some people inspect every person that joins the group and kick if they don't like the build.

There's actually a bug with build inspection that shows what you had on before. So like if you were running a skill build, joined a countdown lobby, and changed to your DPS build - the group leader might still see your skill build if they inspect you.

I just put on my DPS stuff before queueing. Haven't been kicked in so long I don't remember when it happened last.

No clue why it was nerfed, but it went from giving all weapons extra damage when you get a kill with your spec weapon and gave you spec weapon ammo every minute, to just giving you spec weapon damage when you kill with your spec weapon

now its just... not used for normal builds. You can use it to make your spec weapon good but they are gonna need more than just a bit of extra damage and reload speed for that
