ceska chest with obliterate is in general better, it takes less time to stack to max damage but in the incursion (or anything with big health pools or immune bosses) you can stack a striker chest and bag setup with ACS and when the immune phase ends, bonk

all you need to know is an Obliterate and striker bag setup will hit its max damage faster, and has less need for an ACS stacking weapon, and a Striker chest and bag will hit much harder but take longer to hit its max

You can either change the global difficulty and walk in or beat pentagon on story mode to unlock the other difficulties

yep it's toggled correctly, one says it's locked by the other. When I toggle it and walk through to start the mission, I get dialog but can't even open the initial doors into the arcade or through the fence to disable mortars

Although they are also fun in LZ sweep builds, nuking a spawn door when full Red.

but Strained is definitely in the top tier.

Red FI builds are quite good overall, less DPS but still has it, and utility on top.

It's my go-to during Countdown. I can see it having a place in general play, although people are going to ask you why you aren't just running a kill-bot build on regular missions.

matchmade legendary roosevelt island this week, the first 8/9 people to join were all striker builds with crusader shields, and we got smoked three straight times

nobody wanted to run a CC or tank build so we just kept losing on repeat

and nobody was willing to try again after getting mopped because surely it's just the players being bad, and not the incessant need to play only DPS

after about 4 groups, I got a decent ways with a squad before one D/Ced mid mission, and then we lost shortly after

one of the guys stayed in, and we matchmade again together

so me, being an american that only knows english, with a ukranian or russian guy, matchmade with a pole, and another russian guy, and we beat it first try in 35 minutes

There really is no need to farm for xp nowadays.

Challenging Countdown is also basically Heroic tier, with the weird way scaling works. Think of it like Heroic - and Heroic being Heroic+ for loot.
