The previous tots while generic it was at least useful by providing general weapon damage without any real restriction other than hitting enemy with an spec weapon, this was the case because when the set was reworked with the release of WONY it also needed a kill this was changed in TU 10 by the dev team to only need a hit because the feedback they recieved, this is from TU10 patchnotes:
"Aggressive Recon's weapon damage buff is now gained when dealing specialization weapon damage, instead of on specialization weapon kill"

yeah, i probably didn't understand it back then. but reading it now i'm like ah. so we're supposed to hit with spec weapon swap to regular weapon kind of gimmick. but i thought we're supposed to do everything with spec weapon considering we're constantly generating spec ammo

back then was, hit an enemy --> get general weapon buff that lasts 60s --> get another spec weapon ammo as soon the buff ends --> repeat

now that talent is limited to backpack that is bugged and has some conflicting designs

for the new backpack talent you now have an buffed total weapon duration from 20% to 50% but it now lasts 15s, new condition is that you have 0 spec weapon, backpack also gives you 2 ammo drops every 60s

though with my thoughts, gunner spec and maybe sharpshooter spec would be amazing especially if that 50% weapon damage was changed to 50% spec weapon damage. my mind thinks of chain killing with gunner spec weapon and keeping it up until you run out of ammo or you run out of npcs to kill

problem with that is the fact that it gives you extra ammo while asking you to have 0 contradicts itself, better solution would be to give 1 ammo drop every 30s instead, that way you create a loop of 15s with extra damage --> 15s cooldown period of no ammo --> the 30s ammo drop (15s with bonus + 15s without) and repeat this loop

change backpack to give 1 ammo drop evey 30s, instead of 2 ammo drops on 60s to create more uptime for the total weapon damage buff
