You can waste a lot of time if people are getting bogged down and not working together.

I've always maintained to give people the options. MM doesn't take anything away from organised groups. I haven't done the raids because there's no MM but this incursion I was able to do. For sure, in a premade group with more planning and strategy it would probably go easier but MM is quick and convenient.

It makes a lot more sense why the raids don't have matchmaking once you actually go through them. They are designed in mind to require communication and coordination you just cant expect random matchmaking groups to do. And discovery raid matchmaking just proves the point

Plus on Xbox there's a built in lfg system everyone uses which really isn't far off from matchmaking

believe wearing 6 pieces of any gear/brand sets while running missions and what not will increase your proficiency quickly but it's upto you how you go about it

wearing gears/brands you're not proficienct in, donating those gear/brand sets or just donating materials in the expertise menu

.50 cal sniper does about the same damage as a regular end game sniper build rifle does
Minigun has way too little ammo capcaity for what it is
Crossbow is only really usefull for Dark hours
Rocket launcher is insanely shit
Flamethrower and grenade launcher are ok for damage and cc

to start farming gear, check the spreadsheet in #td2-build-advice and go to the builds tab, and pick one out (i reccomend the striker build) then heroic countdown (get carried, easy enough) or summit (even easier since you wont be kicked for being low shd but it will take longer) to farm gear, as both of those missions have selectable target loot

as for "mission to do or DZ or like PvP" i mean yea, Manhunt stuff, DZ is always around but not a great place for fresh lvl 40s, and pvp is the same

I think this is mainly just a difference in definitions, but just because your carrying someone doesn't mean your doing everything for them, it just means they are inexperienced and your showing them what to do and putting them on simpler roles. It's easy to overwhelm someone by giving them ALL the mechanics at once for IH boss 3 for example. Instead just let them know the basics and have them clear ads. The more they run, the more roles they can learn.
