Im not sure which smg is best damage, but 3rd stat for any smg should be damage to targets out of cover.
Strained or fast hands are decent talents.
The problem with smg is the shorter optimal range. Striker is better with AR.
Something like hunters fury is solid with smg, you get a close range damage buff and increased damage on smg/shotgun

but if you really want high damage, use ep bag and eletrique glass chest and cap. you can get the fire sticky ticks to around 800k, maybe more if you have skill damage rolls as secondary to status rolls

yes, its faster if you use the items while you target stuff for donation as well.

skills can only take material donations if not used and that's 3000 printer filament (300 shd > pf) for 1 proficient skill. definitly try and use as many as possible rather than donate.

weapons/named items can be pretty cheap for donation tho. obv use as many as you can while donating junk, but if 20 are purchased at a vendor itll only cost you 300k credits (30 shd points > cash) for named item, less shd for regular weapons.

gear and brand, just use and donate junk. its 100 donations for any single gear or brand set and not really worth the shd to fast track proficient on these

I'd recommend swapping to a more durable build

With all red you are very squishy the trade off is the amount of dmg you do though

I think that you can get it from a random descent reconstructed cache, from defeating Nemesis. Not for certain on that one though. Other than that, you can’t craft them, so you’ll have to farm them from open world, named item caches. Overlord targeted loot.

The additional main missions, such as Pentagon and so on, will always be there. As I recall, the side missions are also still there when you come back, but only for non-boosted characters like yours. Characters boosted directly to NYC definitely have them all completed automatically.

Definitly a good looter/shooter with pretty deep build mechanics .

Well in early game not a ton as it's an older title and many are in endgame . That being said there is a way to fast track past the initial leveling and skip right to the dlc.
You'll miss some story if you choose to do this but it is possible. You have ability to create up to 4 agents, so you can technically slow walk one for the store aspect and boost another one to get to that endgame stuff faster.

Once completed and in endgame there is a ton of different gear available and you will easily be able to matchmake with others.
Farming gear has also become much easier in it's current state of the game, so you'll be able to get high level stuff faster.
There are build guides available here as well as a ton of knowledgable people that are more than happy to help with whatever .
