Once you go to Warlords of New York, the basegame campaign (all the audio between missions, all the side missions) are skipped. You can do the missions in the order they were in the campaign and get most of it, but you cannot do the campaign itself.

If an enemy reanimates after you leave an area it can cause problems like that. In your case I'd suggest using a pulse to check the walkways above the final boss area

Also sometimes their body will fall down then reanimate on some random ledge where it landed

What I did is, go to summit with a build such as Hard Wired, Killed alot of the enemies with a flame turret before they can get out of the door then they reanimate in the flame area and die and it counts

Or I did control points with easily accessible and predictable spawn locations for the defenders

And did the same exact thing with them

after doing the fix Andro came up with, win10 and win 11 both, i have not had a game crash in probably 100-200 hours worth of game time, if not more.

C++ is very susceptible to Buffer Overflows/Overruns - you would think after he sent all this to Ubisoft and they even thanked him for the info, they would fix it. Nope, still goes on to this day.

The Windows Integrity stuff, when you disable it for the Div2.exe at that point, Windows just stops looking at them, it lets them run unchecked. Without the integrity being disabled Windows will see these overflows and overruns as potential exploits to the system, and halts the process.

I tried that and it sort of worked. But what really worked was just uninstall EAC and reinstall after the game updates.

i just want to work on why even after excluding Div 2 from Integrity and Windows Defender - my NVMe is showing Windows Defender STILL scanning the Div 2 folder, despite i explicitly instructed it not to.

it actually causes Div2 to hang up with 1-5 second display freezes and will max out my NVMe's bandwidth

and maxing out a Gen 3 NVMe is interestingly enough to cause a game to hang graphically

Ubi-Connect also for some reason hates ALT-F4, it actually causes UC to close the Tray Icon and the game is still showing as "Running" despite its actually not.

You need both in order to be "good". You can't just give someone who doesn't know what they're doing something perfectly tweaked and expect them to excel in this game.

When you see damage numbers for a kill, let's say a Determined build so you're one-shotting things, is that damage number the amount of damage the shot dealt, or the amount of damage the NPC took to kill it? If the NPC has 1mil health would it should 1mil or would it show 15mil or whatever?
