You'll see an orange ring around the scope fill up, it's a percentage of the max damage of the weapon so once you get really good at using it you'll know how much you need to kill certain enemies like 1/4, 1/2. 3/4 charged.

Imo yeah it is worth it just have some fun don't worry bout builds until you're back in DC then can farm countdown for builds and do open world activities like public execution and propaganda broadcasts to lvl up your shd watch

Looter shooters aren't for everyone, but imo the game is really good, although it has its issues. As far as a grind, there is some, but its possible to get a build setup in a few hours (if you know what your looking for) that can do any pve end game activities, but you can also send over 1000 hours collecting every build and min/maxing everything

There is absolutely a matter of skill even if someone has 23 vs 10 Expt.

I am willing to bet someone who is actually really good in the DZ could wipe out anyone who's at 23 but doesn't know what they're doing.

The actual issue with Expt in the DZ is when someone who is quite good also has a high level, meaning they're being artificially boosted on top of their skill.
It's why a lot of DZ players just want it disabled in PvP modes.

Absolutely, you can optimise as many stats on something as you want.
Calibration can only be done on a single stat per item though.

If you can't see a specific thing you want to farm on the map, you have 2 main options: Summit and Countdown. Both allow you to select your own TL (Targeted Loot).

just play either on Challenging or higher, throw on Directives with Summit, and you'll have pieces before long. Countdown is a lot faster, but lower chance per enemy.

It's actually surprisingly decent. It's based on an m1a socom, which is basically an m1a cqb (highest burst rifle in the game), but with worse damage. However it has a higher fire rate than m1a socom and cqb, along with dttooc, giving it some very good damage.

So it's more like an 8% damage increase, at the low cost of a shotton of resources and exotic components. nice to have, but not really gameplay changing in most cases

I think it's more about the challenge. Hardcore is obviously no joke. 1 mistake and it's all over. Having a hardcore toon means you have to play using a totally different style. It's not about ingame rewards, it's about personal satisfaction.

It depends on what loop you reach 100% heat to fight the nemesis. For loop 5, it takes 30+ min and earn 2-3 SHD. Loop 6 takes 40+min and get 3-4 SHD. IDK loop 7 or 8 but you can imagine the scale.

Ok, so I had the most amazing situation last night. I was doing the nemesis with my go-to skillbuild of oxi and turret. Right before the nemesis died from the oxi he managed to shoot one at me and during the "nemesis defeated" screen I was unable to get out and died from it's oxi thus ending my session. I also noticed that it has already used a firestarter and a turret so apparently the nemesis can use more than 2 skills? I'm wondering if anyone else had the unfortunate situation as described above. One small positive, it did count towards the weekly completion.
