Most of my stars go into exotic caches for components but why do 20 stars instead of a 7 minute run

Are the descent exotic talents teased in your first playthrough? I started getting into it about two weeks ago, my first run I had 2 consoles nearly every single room and 3 exotic talents already before my first nemesis on loop 8. ive probably played 20-30 more runs since then and have had double consoles possibly three times and never had a second exotic talent before loop 10

and random people in game chat are saying the same about the exotic talents

Eh it's all about time management after a certain point. How long would it take to farm a perfect item vs how long it takes to get optimization mats. I know some people don't look at gaming like that but I typically do.

It varies depending on the differing factors in how you farm.
e.g. Challenging vs Heroic for time management, how many Directives can you handle before it slows you down?

Most would consider farming to be a matter of getting near godrolls, then just polishing off the final few % with opti'.

Yeah it's why I asked what they were going for. Could be a ceska chc/chd or a yellow sacrifice. One is much easier to get higher rolls on where the other should just be optimized.

there are lfg channels for that. Also if you want a higher success at getting a raid you'll probably need to go to one with VC and be ready to hop in with a mic.

Well there is TONS to do but it's really up to you. Get every exotic in the game is one most people do, getting all hunter mask, doing all the legendary missions, making and perfecting different builds. It's really up to you what you want to do.

My suggestion so you don't get overwhelmed or anything would be to make an end game build, the #td2-build-advice channel has a pinned spread sheet with builds you can check out.

Yeah just select whatever is sticking then select something else. Might need to cycle through a few of them. Cycle through stuff that is regular gear appearance mods. It's the special items that stick when changing loadouts.

now you have entered world tiers
when you finish capitol story (blue color) youll be at tier1. taking out each invaded (red) strongholds put you at one tier higher

in order to start the DLC you need to be at tier 5 (have finished tidal basin)

You can foam them in spawns with creeping death though. Foam the first one that comes out and the ones inside are cc'ed aswell. But in my experience status effects are always a little janky, there's the classic "shocked but sliding around the room whilst convulsing on the floor", there's foam chems not working for no apparent reason, and so on.

this isn't wrong in a majority of cases elsewhere in the game (there's a reason why all red is meta), but for this specifically running additional blues will make things easier for you
