Just how hard is it to find a maxed out gear mod? I only have one maxed gear mod on my setup and this is after at least two weeks of Heroic Summit and some Countdown

@brittle copper I generally only farm mods for printer filament in Summit, and I would say I get 1-2 max mods per 30 legendary floors.

@brittle copper Unfortunately, I have more than I can ever need at this point but I have a lot of hours played. 13% PFE is the holy grail though, I think I only have like 4-5 of them

Since you can't select which gadget or which type of general mod you want, things like maxed out decoy mods will rain from the skies, but I think the 5% shield health on the uhm... hard coating slot (?) and things like that are pretty rare in my experience

just play legendary summit or heroic countdown, if you really go balls out and spend a weekend farming im sure youll get a ton of the ones you want

Matchmaking is also a good way to find a clan .

WONY has no gear score, the level cap is increased to 40 and from then on gear score isn't a thing anymore for your character

really love how this game allows you to move around a piece of cover, but when you want to go back to the place you originally were it just has an aneurysm

Once you hit Lvl 40 in WONY that's it. No gear score on gear, just a Lvl 40. Mind you, core attributes on gear still matter the same way (10% wep dmg vs 15% wep dmg for example) and the grind becomes about getting good rolls on a piece of gear, recalibrating as needed and then optimizing it, making builds, etc.

theres this one named legendary i found in a store which i like, dont remembwr the name but its perk basically makes it that when u deal damage with ur gun, u get 20% skill dmg, and vice versa.Boosting it up to 40% if u deal dmg with both weapons and skills.

preservation is a weapon talent that can change the way you play to some extent. i play all red builds so preservation keeps my armor up and i dont have to use armor kits

Im currently farming for a chestpiece with unbreakable but if you use the hunter gear set with 3 pieces you get up to 20% armor back on kills and ive been running golden bullet just absolutely farming it also makes harder difficulties more bearable especially if ur a solo player i got my exotic cache running through summit with golden bullet active and enough stars to buy a second cache

Im basically unkillable up to challenging in pve. And yes. It does more damage to you but if ur running hunter gear set and any weapon that can kill an npc you will be fine

And like i stated before it also works in summit which u get an exotic for beating 30 floors on any difficulty

Always a main mission of your levels then if u are underlevelled do a side mission

Main missions = 1 level.

Side missions = ⅓ of a level.

its not hardcore without the hard! really though.. after my 36th attempt (you can speed run the levels), i found my niche ..
but unlike 95% of HC players.. i do not use a rez ball and/or shield (which is why it took that many tries! )..
the game is linear in terms of the NPCs in missions.. and when you learn where and when they will trigger and spawn, you can counter it.. so its easy after that, higher difficulties tend to randomize the NPC pool more, but they all spawn in their respective locations..
any SHD levels earned while on your HC will not be lost if they die.. make another character, get to 40 and add the SHD you earned from the previous character..
materials from your normal characters, as well as any unlocks on your crafting table, will be shared with your HC.. but i think you need to be 30 for that to be available..
