I think you're confusing the DB with an 1886 as a platform personally. you can feel free to use DB with headhunter if you want to, I'm just saying that naturally it's strongest in a negos setup. it's already inconsistent with it's talent, so adding another variable of having to stack HH and land headshots to it.. not to mention that DB negos has the highest DPS of any rifle setup.. if you're gonna run HH then use a normal 1886 with a talent more suited to the HH build. and no I'm not the be all end all of builds at all, just trying to provide accurate advice :)

Discovered something interesting with a friend when spamming CD
So CD especially recently has been breaking a lot, where you load in (usually doesn't have the heli cutscene which gives it away) and timer doesn't start, nothing happens, usually time for everyone to leave

However, what we noticed is that the lead changing/leaving can re-instance us and then it all starts, just tried it out where I was lead and timer/CD didn't start after loading in, I gave lead to someone else, and timer and stuff properly started

I wonder if this could be a potential (not sure how guaranteed) fix for such broken CDs that seem to be happening a lot and help everyone save a lot of time if it does work all the time

Ya we have much better tech for loot nowadays! CD is a timed objective with 8 people, can queue for it (challenging is more doable, heroic is higher quality loot but lot tighter on timing and needs a better group to not fail)
You can set target loot (same as Summit) on the map for it and you'll get a lot of that type of loot extra

Sharpshooter is great, the grenades are one of the best and the specialization weapon itself is great even on a crit build

You can tag weak points and what not with it or just have a backup sniper if you ever need it

On the one hand it only offers weapon stability as a perk, everything else is geared towards sniper rifles for headshots, it says rifles but it’s not worth your time

Fair enough. I wonder if that's related to what I just experienced where I never load in. I'm stuck at the loading screen with the 100% shifting around. I need to alt-f4. If that never times out that may be what's holding those games up and when the person force quits it loads for everyone else.

Like it works again, keeps working

Get in Countdown
Loading screen is bugged/no cutscene plays
We all spawn in together, directives might be active (depending on leader), no timer, no hunters etc

This is where everyone just normally leaves

But as soon as leadership is transferred, it all starts, timer appears, objectives show up, hunters appear etc
So if people knew about this, instead of so many people leaving runs, this could save time to not need to redo it

It doesn't seem 100% guaranteed but does work sometimes

you need to take attributes from 'like' items, so to put a talent on a rifle, you first need a talent from another rifle (not from an assault rifle or SMG)

it also specifies level ranges of I think 1-30 and 31-40

First, you strip an attribute from an item and it 'banks' the attribute (it destroys the equipment when you remove something from it), then you can apply the banked attribute to a different piece of gear

they dont ban people on a discord for cheating in the game, the discord is the discord, the game is the game, they have to break rules here to get banned here, and none of the rules are that they can cheat ingame

it would be unenforceable, the mods here arent ubi game mods, they dont have access to see who is and isnt cheating ingame, and then there is also no direct link between a discord account and a ubi account,
and thats before the simple fact that its a open discord, anyone can make a alt and rejoin if they want

you can try, but just because they do it, doesnt mean the mod team here is set up the same way, also to my knowledge there are no underlying tools like ip tracking that mods can use on discs, on a open board there is no way to keep someone out when you cant know for sure its the same person, and even on ip banning, there are easy ways around it

You could also have potential false positives or even people intentionally doing it where they have some innocent discord member’s name in game (it’s easy and free to change ubi name too, hell you could elaborately troll someone out of the server that way as you could pick up the game for like €3) so then they might get banned for no reason

From a content perspective Descent isn't that great and players will crash and lose progress anyway. However the incursion is which will be released much later is much more enjoyable. If you enjoyed Iron Horse raid or playing with friends it's worth renewing GFN for that.

He has videos on doing all IH bosses solo on discovery, then they 2 man finished all bosses too doing every mechanic and normal difficulty, and he said in the beginning that you could solo it with oneshot mechanics but for extra challenge and fun they opted to do all mechanics normally, just with two people

What's stopping it from starting 2nd boss? Since you can just use open doors to straight up go to last boss if you wanted to or anything
If you can't do the actual bosses still then yea that's a bit of a shame, then it's just debatable about semantics of doing the whole raid or just the 4 bosses themselves which could still be the goal of doing them with 1 or 2 people etc

I think the daily ones just give you a random patch from the RE pool, there are more days than there are items so you don't have to do every single one. You can also do them on multiple characters to get through them faster.

If you complete an activity then you'll get credit and losing connection won't reverse it. If your in the middle of something and delta you can generally load back into your last checkpoint for that activity.

The open world map stuff constantly rotates, so taking control points aren't a permanent thing, they will always be taken back over eventually
