The great thing about PvP in div2 is that if you don't want to fight other players, just don't go in.

every player with WONY passed lvl 40 has access to the seasonal reward track and it's perks, but the "season pass" is an additional reward track that just grants you things like additional skins/keys/dyes/loot/etc. along the way. you have to buy it per each season if you wish to get the additional rewards, otherwise you can just stick to the free reward track.

each one has their own trade offs/benefits. starting out (minimal points allocated to the spec tree) you're not getting a huge different between them until you start unlocking some of their unique features. (ie: techie spec with laser pointer) but some of the other have some nice feature like gunner I think it is grants you some ammo every so often automatically (been a long time so might be off a bit there) but again, gotta get those spec points to unlock that portion of the tree.

so I can't say one is better than the other (I went techie, hate the sig weapon, but like the laser/perks)

Imo gunner is the best to start with, then you can move on to techie and firewall, the other 3 all more niche

And for the way that I play (close range), I love it!
You gain 1-2-3 stacks... get shot going to low armor, but the moment you shoot another target it doesnt go back to stack 1, it contunues from whtever stack you had before!
so you can go low armor, but the moment you kill another target you go back to super high armor again.
Its really good talent for how I play at close range!

but then they nerfed In Sync... So I switched to Classic M1A Boomerang/Bakers Dozen and Scorpio
