Don't forget that you usually get chc/chd on all pieces and then you can even out chc mods on weapon if needed

yeah they fixed the Pentagon breach bug but failed to fix the Darpa bug caused by the same problem. The solution (unless the Breach fix messed it up further) is to run Pentagon on story difficulty in a lvl 30 world - but you'll need to find someone with a WT5 character to join in order to do that

story mode and at level 30 (not 40) is the key thing, should unlock Darpa for you permanently. Running darpa in someone elses game will count for league or field research but won't unlock it for you permanently

I find enemies in that mission a bit too spread out for HF, so I ran negotiators with memento, ceska chest with Obliterate, striker drone & shield, AR with fast hands, Gunner (so no need to stop for ammo). Had polarity active too. It's definitely easier in a duo though just for that drone room where you can hack both sides at the same time

that said the second week's first try completely bugged out at the end boss fight as an enemy spawned inside the ground

eventually booted me and only me to the start of the mission at first. So we had to do it all over again!

usually not, hitting opposite polarity directly loses you the (rather large) damage buff, but if you tag as many correct-polarity enemies as you can then when you have to reload you can empty into the new polarity without worrying and still daamge the tagged enemies

or I guess just tag the wrong-polarity ones at the start of a fight when you have no buff to lose

It's possible that it's caused by the server failing to register your reload and that does indeed prevent you from shooting if the delay is bad enough, that's the non-hardware explanation I know of

Currently if anyone has difficulty / directive scaling in their world if they load in before the leader they can affect the raid bc their world settings override the raid settings / leaders

There are only two difficulties for raids: discovery and normal. You can’t matchmake for normal raids so you have to do them in a premade group. You should never do discovery raids as they have different mechanics from normal raids and they don’t provide any exclusive loot

Helmets are usually found on Chungus like Tanks . It make sense cuz they dont move and their actual hp isnt so high so wasting a determine to peel off the head and landing another headshot to keep the tempo going isnt too annoying.

My problem with it is that some random Hyena Rusher who wears a baseball helmet can tank a shot from a railgun

There are special drop rates for specific exotics, but there's only a few of them and they aren't even worth relying on

Farm target loot on Heroic (directives if possible as well) and you'll get it soon enough unless it's raid-locked or something

That said, there are also some exotics that aren't added to your loot pool unless you get the blueprint for them first - namely, the Nemesis and the Chatterbox, there's also some other from previous seasons that have not been confirmed as added to general loot if you never obtained them last season through the rewards track

I'd say that it does matter as, besides all else, it allows you to have a certain expectancy of how often (or how likely) you should be getting the specific item you're looking for; I knew, for example, that when farming for the Bighorn in the legendary summit I'd need to do around 20 runs to get it, and that assumption was relatively correct - got mine on either my 16th or 17th boss drop
