It took two runs but I got EB after one of the other 7 picked it up at the end and dropped it for me. I had a great time and now I’m looking at a DPS build for IH to go for Regulus.

You do not - once you become Proficient, you can't earn any more Proficiency XP from that gun, gear brand/item, or skill. Change to a different gun, gear piece or skill to continue earning Proficiency XP, and make them Proficient as well.

Becoming Proficient with sufficient guns/gear/skills raises your Expertise Level.

Expertise levels then decide how much you can upgrade your Proficient items - if you're Expertise level 3, then you can upgrade a Proficient gun three times.

Note that these upgrades are for individual guns or gear pieces, so favorite them if you haven't already done so to prevent accidental deletion

You have to donate a ton of gear to raise your expertise level. For example - if you donate enough gear to reach expertise level 3 then any gear you are already proficient in can be leveled up to 3 as well.

Which then begs the question - do you scrap your junk gear for materials or donate it all at the Recalibration Bench to raise your Expertise level?

Kinda depends on where you stand in the game. If you're relatively new or basically just started, you'd want to focus on filling up your recalibration library first because having as many max-roll attributes and talents in there as possible will give you the freedom the mess around with builds properly. You'll benefit more from that than from a weapon at Expertise level 5 or such.

I honestly don't get why they don't want to release a new pay DLC, it takes a lot less time to develop something like Warlords of New York than a full game, there's a big audience base out there who'd buy it and it's not like there's another Division game coming anytime soon (certainly not a proper one like 1 or 2).

History is riddled with licensed games that were massive flops, will be interesting to see if the licensing costs for those two plus the marketing budgets required will be worth it.

Even as a niche game, it can still be popular, Risk of Rain 2 and Dark Souls are niche games with a harsh pearning curve that has a decently large player base.

It means that as long as the meat of the game is good then people will enjoy it.

10 million + sales is decent for any game, and that's a pretty old number so not sure what the current tally is. End of the day the higher ups at Ubi made lots of really poor decisions over the years and have ground the company down significantly, I think greed and avarice got to them and the mistakes they made with other franchises has trickled down into us Division fans getting completely shit on. Some of the bugs only being fixed today after being around for months if not years is unacceptable.

Division 1 was IMO just perfection in so many ways, visually it's stunning, the mixture of New York, winter, night is incredible, the city is living and breathing which DC never felt like, and for me as a 100% solo player The Underground and Survival were fantastic modes. Really hope Descent is something like a blend of the two modes 🙂

One of the stand out thing for me was how well balanced the legendary missions were.

The enemies damage was high to discourage reckless play but not so low that you can just steamroll through

And the enemy roster was well balanced too, the shield guy and machine guy can shred a D3 shield but if you break the weakpoint they go down pretty quick, there's a red circle warning you of the grenadiers incoming attempts to dislodge you out of cover.

But Div2 legendary missions? Explosive drone lady go brr
