That sounds about right. Not a networking expert, but I think routers nowadays have settings to configure VPN so you can have your own private network. There should be plenty of articles online to do this, but I've never got this done myself (too lazy lol)

I have created a frankensteins monster build - Striker drone and Shield skill build, but with decent weapon damage. A real hybrid that allows you to keep moving whilst the drone destroys anyone on your flank

Probably not advised for proper group stuff, but holds its own in openworld
