Just play 1-30, and follow the story and do all the missions. Then do the World tiers 1-5, and make sure you have all missions including side missions outstanding done during that stage. After that, go to the NYC helicopter and do 31-40, kill keener, get your SHD watch, and then you are in endgame

I personally do all the side missions as I'm unlocking the settlements and developing them as the side missions add to the settlements

make sure you read notifications on the screen. there are a lot of times when you have to go to the white house or one of the settlements to talk to a certain person to advance the story and unlock missions

you get some stuff, but the price is steep for the value for it I'd say, unless you plan on playing a ton and don't mind spending that for some extra fluff essentially

Razer software just like so many of these do often cause all kinds of issues unfortunately yeah
Some motherboard/RGB software straight up causes BSODs on otherwise stable systems lmao

Though Div2 crashes for soooo many reasons on PC there's a really big chance it'll crash for other reasons too, though you might reduce the frequency if synapse was causing some of them

my friend and i were doing summit and we both had synapse on. and we both crashed, she crashed once, then ended synapse, didn't crash after that. i ended synapse after 2-3 crashes and it stopped after that (this afternoon)

so it's a strong possibility

Just keep in mind this game's crashing is very RNG and regardless of what you do you might not have any crashes for days or week+, or do lot of things and still keep crashing

So even a "it ran fine for few hours/all day/days" can be very misleading/tricky with this game :/

But I'm hoping that's a cause for at least some of the ones you were having and that it'll do better at least!

Wouldn't surprise me if anything that tries to interact with or hook into the game in any way can cause it to become more unstable and occasionally be the last drop in bucket pushing it over

So one person opens the final door to the boss fight and someone else restarts the mission at the same time. If done right it respawns you in the final arena and the helicopter doesn't spawn, but you can spam a container with oxidizer and watch your XP climb just like the Anderson manhunt one.

It is, all red will get you killed, if you're not able to ambush or catch other by surprise. I under estimated a few reds today and got lazy, learned my lesson.

But DZ is dry atm -_- Most times it's the same players fighting each others, a few are hunting, but it seems safe for most of the time for PVE players.

I just jumped back into td2 and I'm quite sure I'm not meant to solo the Heroic bounties right? Never saw my ass get melted so hard by just the basic grunts.

sure you can do it solo, depending of your skill and build

or use a skill build (bad joke), no i'm serious, i use a drone+turret skill build in the open world, because i'm lazy. Works even solo with legendaries.

Well I just got to shd level 40 on the watch I ripped off of the bbeg, and I was attempting to go for the first target for this season, and yeah I'm running those two guys, super helpful they are! But after taking it slow and even with a rando's help I don't think I'm anywhere near where I need to be.

ah, yeah, that's a rough part of this games. You need to gear up and get used to your build.

the Manhunts are a bit tough, but maybe you find here a few good players who can help you. The ppl, here are very nice and decent players.

It's so worth it for the grind though, back in td1 I was able to solo a few of the raids and those were amazing to get done but being in a clan or group would be better as I've given it a good try solo. The community does look quite alive unlike other games I've seen lately.

the grind fun, if it doesn't crash, but TBH countdown and summit made the open world grind obsolete, beside the resources

DZ is a good source for stuff too, but can be very harsh. But the most active and best killers, are really friendly and even willing to teach you, if you show respect and being willing to learn.

I found so many new ppl. to play with in the DZ, my friendlist grows daylie ^^

Long as they don't become The One and start dodging bullets like Neo I'm happy with that. I was just on TD1 three days ago and the hackers are still all over the place, but I've yet to see anyone like that so far in TD2.

Did Ubi fix that issue or are script injectors still a thing widely used and I've just missed them all some how?

Oh, i have seen some bad cheaters in the TD2 DZ

i don't know how they cheat, but aim botting, lag switching, shooting through walls is common

there 2 "through wall" shooter that are widely known by the players, they just won't get banned

they became almost something like pets for us

funny thing is, if they know who you are and tell them to leave, they leave xD I don't know why they are listening to us, but they do some times.

After 5 minutes I got an invite... all directtives so I left....

Memory leak had been with the game since it came out, when I play the game nothing is running on the background and when the game uses like 5-8gb it crashes if not freezes. Sometimes random the game will work fine for an hour and uses more than usual and then randomly crash

i use two kinds of memory limiter, 0 crashes for a month now. well actually 1 crash yesterday, but doubt it was related as i had streaming software open. The game has memory leakage

not as severe as Hogwarts Legacy mind you, but it's there for a long time.

My friend has identical set up just like mine only difference is that I am running 32GB and he is running 16GB and no crashes for him, switched to 16GB still crashing and then went for 64GB still crashing

There's a program I'll mention via DM's if anyone wants it. It clears the standby list of memory at determined intervals. Works wonders for div2.

1. Solar farm path to capitol builsing
2. Countdown deconstructions

Everyone runs either Famas, or Eagle Bearer, the way I see it rn

Mainly because they had to make a decision of which gun to increase the grade of, and grade mat is expensive, and they had to stick to one or two guns

Tryhards running grade 20 famas is a common sight, PvP is dog water now, you can't compete at all

Take it however fast or slowly you want it I say. If you want to get to endgame then yeah just do the story but nothing wrong with doing detours along the way ( '-')b

Yeah if it's your first time playing the game I'd definitely suggest you take your time, look out for the audio recordings/echos etc. IMO the story/lore is nowhere near as good as Division 1 but it's still worth exploring

Do you have the New York DLC? If you do, make sure you do the Pentagon/Dark Zone recon missions before going to New York as it'll bug out.

Side missions for sure, though in case you didn't know you will be farming control points at some point so they will change hands at some point

You get XP, but if you waited until World Tier 5 you'd get much more XP for them
