Although out the silence from the devs for div2 after TU12. It had a small player base. Only reason why people said it was dead because no updates or anything said from the devs.

People moved on to other games like destiny 2. As soon they said that. People came back and it was a spike to the game

Look at steam player counts for div2 it’s very stable. Some dips and spikes. But not dead because of the consistency of players that play daily

yeah, i have a hardcore character that i ran through the main campaign and wony. The character didn't do any manhunt missions so i'm not getting the crash when fast travelling to Summit. Also, so far, i can travel fine between dc and nyc. But, because of the issues, the problem with progression then is that you can't change open world difficulty (to farm better gear). Also, because you can't reset control points, once they're 'green' they stay 'green', which means no convoys in that area, which, if you're leveling shd levels is a problem (they give good xp), which all limits the kind of activities you can do. ps, if you're leveling a new character, unlock the darkzones before you go to nyc. For some reason, if you don't, after you come back from nyc 1 or 2 darkzones are still locked/glitched.

Ok yeah, when they added Manning Zoo to the invaded rotation they set it to give you a random nemesis component (from the ones you don't already have but not including the blueprint). It should have just given you one as a mission completion reward though.

pretty sure nothing fixes the current new issues (like crashing when going back from NYC, or when going too close to where CD is on DC map with cursor/map) we got after botched off-season start - if you have them (likely on characters that had S10 manhunt active) you'll at a 100% rate guaranteed reproduce those crashes regardless of what you do
the stuff they talk about is just things that might reduce the generic random crashing the game's had for years now

o yea that's an extra spicy one, so far what I've seen people can at least use their map just can't get too close to CD area (you can even go to the Summit part to swap target loot for doing CD, you just have to be zoomed in all the way and basically inch around the upper edge to get to it making sure you don't get close to where CD is)

I do believe these new guaranteed crashes are likely to be easier fixed to some extent because they're also been here for some people occasionally during the manhunt, and resetting manhunt progress fixed it fully, and now it's just that we're in this limbo of season prematurely ending, without a new one being active, neither an off-season
so existing elements tied to for example the manhunt cause those guaranteed crashes as it doesn't exist anymore

so if you're say SHD level 2000, and you make a brand new character, level it to 40, get watch from Keener, it'll have 2000 points to spend
800 will always be stuck going to the watch stats, so like 1200 salvage points you can spend now freely

so reward is more the higher your account's SHD level is but you can just repeat it too

also while the character exists it'll also get its own salvage point to spend every time you level up
so if you have 4 characters, and you play one and level up 50 times, you now have 50 points to spend on all 4

I even found to be some decent value in doing it at like 1000-1400 mark already even though you don't get as many salvage points but you might at that point still be starved of like SHD calibration/field recon data and whatnot while optimising and maxing out various builds and it helps a ton for that too

also recalibration library is either 30, or 31-40 category, so if you make the character but don't start at 30/boost, instead start at 1, finish tutorial, buy account wide materials and whatnot, you can prepare/craft a setup with gear level 30-31-32 pieces, the recalibration stats are same as the one at 40

so you can have a gearset ready with say an armour core at 170k on a level 31 piece that you can just equip on any new character going through it in future

Gear mods target loot, since you want it ideally at least 12% rolls (13%/maxed ones are incredibly rare) difficulty should be high-ish (heroic summit / heroic CD, I think challenging CD would give usually lower rolls but can also work if you're content with like the 10-11% or whatever that roll is)

The project mismanagement of Division 2 is incomprehensible. The patience of the majority of the remaining player base appears to be close to a breaking point. The lack communication and the absence of empathy from the "community" developer simply adds to the frustration level. If the plan is going to be, just ride this out as is until season 11 is ready; so be it. Give your customers an idea here.

Last week, we shared news that the season would be delayed due to a localization issue. This past Saturday, in the process of creating the update which would resolve the issue, we encountered an error that brought down the build generation system for The Division 2. As a result, we cannot update the game until this system has been rebuilt.

In the past, when a Season was delayed, we extended the previous Season's activities. Unfortunately, this is not possible in the current situation, as we are unable to make server or client side updates until the build generation system is restored.
