For someone just starting out different characters don't matter. When you have a ton of watch levels they are useful for getting extra scavenger points. For specialization that is more about personally taste. You'll eventually unlock all of them

it's more to change the attributes it's tied to. say your weapon damage is really low, got 1 max attribute and the 3rd is 50% full then you could craft it to change the attributes

Basically just a chc and chd build with bullet king and bakers dozen along with negotiators dilemma (with backpack for the 3x100% dmg talent). Also a Umbra Plate Carrier chest for +15% chd with unbreakable on for a wee bit of extra chance if things get rough.

If you go to your resource inventory and highlight a certain material, it will tell you which faction “hordes” that material. Then farm that faction.

I only farmed solo so far, no idea if it's better yield if you're grouped and if so if it's cancelled out by the fuss of having to coordinate with eachother, waiting etc.

Run the gunner spec and get ammunition every 60 seconds. After a bit your full and pistolero means nothing. Just avoid fast traveling to safe houses, you lose your ammo.

Ah I know which bounty location you're referring to. If the elevator doors don't open and the ropes don't drop there isn't much you can do. If you restart your game and start the bounty over when you are standing in that building courtyard it should have the bounty somewhere else in East Mall

and its dependant on what side missions youve done as to what spots are available, may be that they havent done sinkhole yet, then that spot in the middle isnt a option for bounties

I know where you're talking about. There isn't a way into that room so you have to wait for them to pop up giving you a shot. You can also abandon the bounty/ restart the game. From there stand in front of that building and start the bounty. That should cause the bounty to begin somewhere else

I can't remember exactly but after failing a few times I Googled it and I think there were these armored parts: 2 kneepads (even if it doesn't look like he wears any armor there), 2 shoulderpads, chest, helmet and backpack.

So once I knew that I just got him alone, used pistol and hit him everytime he just missed me and dodge rolled back and forth.

You’ll need to reduce all your crit chance, can’t risk killing him if your bullet hits him in an unarmored part,

you can use a decoy or turret to distract him with the tamper proof chest talent,

start with the shoulder pads, then helmet, then backpack, and work your way down, this helps you avoid having to shoot his head with the helmet being broken and accidentally killing him,

Oh not really since steam gives you a lot of customizability for ps4 controllers. I have my touchpad setup so it has the E and F key. I tap the E key for gadget (obv) and the F for interaction

Took some getting used to but it's fun to try something different

And then i can use my left trigger for the other gadget

Haven't had to use my E bind a lot since i run revive hive on E and sniper turret on my left trigger

I've been gaming on PC for the around 3 decades and the wasd has always seemed inefficient to me. Having 3 fingers responsible for movement while also having controls close by will limit your movement at times.

2 things about boosting is that you won’t be able to earn achievements / trophies on that character and you’ll be unable to replay side missions on that character

You can play through and depending on how long it takes you you can get to endgame rather quickly - just might not be enough time to finish the current season

Alright, yeah it could be worth thinking about doing what I did from the start almost as soon as I hit lvl 40. I started looting everything as junk that I knew I didn't have use for and once my inventory started getting full I went to the expertise bench and donated all junk in bulk. What's still in your inventory after that as junk (means you already reached proficiency with that particular weapon/gear) you can sell or deconstruct.

If you make a habit of that from the start it won't feel like such a daunting task to get started with levelling your expertise later on.
