You won't be able to join once you leave for NYC until you fully complete the DLC story, which should take roughly 4-6 hours at a casual pace.

If you want, you can create a new character once your done with the DC story and boost the new one to NYC and run that through. That way you can continue playing solo while still being able to play with your friend. Once you go to NYC all your current gear will be useless anyways, so your not losing anything by creating a new character

Also keep in mind the DC story isnt done once you beat capital, I'm not sure where you are now, but the DC story includes going through all the invaded missions and tidal basin. A lot of people think it's done once you hit 30 and complete capital.

So about the nonsense going on today. If I'm already Level 18 Expertise, my cost to benefits analysis participating in said nonsense is not worth it. Unless someone knows a way that it translates to exotic components (which is doesn't), right? 😛

The whole stage left thing is overblown imo. Buy up to 20 if you want to become proficient in it, but outside that I don't think it's worth the time bothering with it.

I tried it out and I didnt care for it personally, I even switched over to Firewall from Gunner it just didnt suit my playstyle. I find running in with banshee, popping tier 0 shield and just blasting everything dead more satisfying

I run a regen hybrid for timetrials on my character that has mostly sniper builds, its pretty nice cause its basically unkillable while putting out pretty solid heroic DPS, but it's no hunters fury 😛

It's weird tho that full obliterate + vigilance doesnt seem to be putting out as much top end damage as intimidate even though it's +WD vs amplified damage, but it's just so much more consistant

The brutal part about countdown is that unlike ANY OTHER ACTIVITY, there is ZERO percent chance to reconnect to your countdown session after a crash

But yea just looked at it. If I equip 6x red cores with technician, the capacitor shows 122.8K damage. If I equip build with 6x red with technician, 2x brazos and picaros (with skill core) it goes to 130.6K. So extra skill tiers do add to damage.

Man, I've been running the Capacitor AR on my tech build cause the talent said the damage went up with each skill tier so I'm like "Ok, so skill tier weapon." Finally compared it skill tier 6 vs all red cores... it's about a 40k damage difference in favor of the red cores
