So yeah, use Technician or aim good and just plant the ACS 12 in the NPCs ass. Easy 100 stacks in no time.

It's one of the few sets you can also slap a few blues on and still have good DPS.

It's all RNG man. You're asking for an item with 4 specific attributes to it. Hell I haven't even found a sidearm with maxed accuracy after like 50+ runs.
Don't forget you can still ask people for a share if they get something you're looking for, and they don't need.

It's the same difference as people who used to farm Summit for Memento, but would only get Acosta bags for a week straight.

But you'll see a lot of different things in missions.

It's really not. It helps a tiny bit, but that's it.
The increase from weapon damage is additive to your total amount, so in reality it's not 20% extra damage, but more like 9% or something around there.
Same thing with Armor. As for skills, I'm not really sure.

Damage wise, Keener's watch had a larger impact, especially with CHC.

And the skill stuff was basically 10% skill efficiency from watch, but separate.

The funny thing is too, The devs could have just made the percentage lower and apply as an AMP to make it hit just as hard as 20% additive, but players would likely complain over "too little gain for the effort". Because well let's face it, most players can't be arsed to calculate this shit. So instead they made it 20% but have it as additive because "Bigger numbers and bigger percentages feels more rewarding right?", lol.

Just as funny was the people on forums saying expertise was too strong in PTS. And it makes sense from a business perspective to keep players grinding longer hours.

the missions (at least, some of them) are designed to give a showcase for the skills at work, that's why you get them early

hence achilles pulse with all the non-headshottable enemies like drones that you're supposed to use the pulse on to get that HSD bonus

I mean... the fact is that NYC, as cool as it is, is not the focal point of the game. WoNY is an expansion that ties loose ends from the first game together. It was designed in tandem with the balancing problems the game had to try fix things.
And it did the job well enough. It introduced new characters while re-introducing old ones with a small campaign that added to the story. All while fixing certain gameplay elements that were rubbish and rebalancing many things.

Put your map on the highest difficulty you can handle, put on as many directives as you want and farm resource convoys/elite patrols/elite territory controls and control points.
Some will say go to floor 10 in the summit, but you will get bored very quickly

by 'grinding' open world etc, you are getting resources, field recons and blueprints from CPs, daily/weekly/CD gets SHD parts.

this more organic approach means you will be able to upgrade optimize, etc as you go, so you are trying builds and learning your preferred playstyles as well.

f10 clear builds really teach you one thing... how to blow up a door spawn. the chaos of open world is much more conducive to 'getting good'. full discolsure though, my personal preference is variety.. meaning f10 == not fun / boring.

anyhow. for me, div2 gameplay is the reason i enjoy it. i prefer not to just sit and blow up a spawn until i win. i tend to mix missions (with friends) open world (solo/duo) and CD (que solo) depending on needs and mood for gameplay varietey.

i dont think anyone is arguing that F10 isnt faster. The entire mentailty behind such things is to find the 'i win' button. I have learned over 30+ years of video games that whenever i do such tings, i end up with nothign left to play for.

reminds me of the day i made the mistake in original Diablo of loading up a hex editor and figuring out how to get levels, skill points, adn god roll gear. Lasted abotu a week and i was done with the game. It totally ruined my fun. Ok. im a god. now what? next game.

you can unlock the specs via 'quest' which also have various rewards.

so level 1 will feel like trying heroic with bad build./ gear pretty much (BUT they have their higher level buddy there too).

It's not nearly that bad. It's still story difficulty, and so your gear/stats don't really matter. Things like a good talent or weapon can make a huge difference, and because your gear is scaled up you don't really need to change it.

Gain shd levels while active and you'll be rewarded stars. There is gonna be daily challenges unlocking over a few days that will also reward stars.
Reanimated requires head shots to keep enemy down iirc

Next season starts in mid-september, you can use the downtime to get used to the game and start grinding out shd levels, expertise etc

In the seasons menu there's a 'show details' option for the global events that tells you more about them, although in this case it's just 'kill them with headshots or kill them twice'

only hunters (and keener) hack your skills, rogues dont have that ability, you can use yellow builds against rogues

if they are allowed to sit in cover, they will hack skills, if they are rushed and/or cc-ed they wont do it, its still very hazardous to try using deployed skills against them, as there are points where you can agro a second one while dealing with one, and they will long range hack you skills,
also deployed skills dont take your HZP and are disruptable, if you want to use skills against them, only use hand held skills, like stickies and chems that cant be hacked by hunters

Targeted loot shotguns on floor 10 summit or Countdown. You'll get them in no time, use the credits earned from CD on caches and test your RNG. It'll come eventually or even when you've given up it'll drop no doubt.

I just bought the game yesterday because of Gamescom sale. I tried playing today, the game keeps crashing every 15-30 minutes. It's so frustrating. I have RTX 2070, 16 GB RAM, i7-8750H CPU.

I wanted to gift this game to a couple of friends so we can play together. Now I'm not so sure anymore, especially since I know they have lower spec PCs

I just recently built a new PC but my old pc (old i5-2500k and 980ti) did just fine running the game, the crashes will be getting some more fixes in the next season that we all HOPE calms things down a bit.

yeah a downside of the "sheer power" of PCs is that there is so much room for variation that troubleshooting is a pain

They broke the game for pc users during a title update and said it will be fixed the next (why not asap?)title update. Now that we are on that next update it is still broken.
