20 Is the cap, but it used to go higher on release and hard-capped at 30 apparently.
Odds are it was the result of a bug, but the fact that it hard capped at 30 might mean the possibility of potential plans to increase the amount of new gear to reach that cap. Or if not, get close to it.
So it's not entirely out of the question to think the true cap is actually higher than what we currently see.

Yea understandable, for me the ammo directive dosen't really affect me since i main sniper and it's specilization regens 5 MMR ammo every few seconds it only takes 1 bullet per enemy kill compared to the crap loads of bullets automatic weapons take to kill one enemy

Late response but after lvl 15 iirc it only needs 140 point s to go up a lvl from the 200 before. And if everything is maxed i believe you are lvl 20 and a few points over so its not needed to max every piece you can leave 2/3 untouched and still reach 20

Am I the only one who consistently has that bug where if I’m using a chem launcher in combat about 20% of the time, I’m not going to be able to pull my gun back out on the first or second try.

Cause this is really the only thing I hate about my builds that use chem launchers

Glass cannon gets you demolished in PVP. You want to find a balance between the two. Generally you want a few blue cores, attributes into CH/HSD, then a talent combo that fits well. Personally i run ridgeways, wicked bag, sadist guns, 4 blue cores, 1p ceska, 1 grupo, 1 fenris plus contractors and foxs

But Open World on challenging has me dying left and right when trying to conquer outposts

Bombardier enemies seem to get very trigger happy with their grenade launchers

missions being more linear, it's harder to get yourself flanked - open world enemies can spawn from all over the place, so you have to keep your eyes in all directions

you can spot grenade throwing enemies winding up before they throw - hit them in the head at that time and you'll usually cause them to drop the grenade at their own feet - failing that, it's probably time to shift to a different piece of cover

It seems Heroic Difficulty with 4 Directives give you gud amount of EXP and a chance of gud gears.

Even got Exotic gears on my Heroic Washington Hotel mission last week. When I was doing League's challenge.
Last Boss dropped Merciless and I was like "Wat the!?"

What you can do as an alternative is to farm countdown and buy named item caches (they include dz exclusives) or farm levels for global events, earn ge stars, and use those stars to purchase named item caches.

set as high as you can do without constant deaths. often missions are easier than open world due to the.. chaotic nature of open world.

challenging is nice because all loot will be high end quality (aside from world spawn loot crates, which dont scale)

hard world tier and challenging missions is a start. as soon as you can do challenging world it is a bonus due ot CPs being at level 3 already adn you dont need to raise alert level to gain crafting blueprints from them

LMGs arent super strong btw. AR/Rifle/shotty for non-scoped gun play. smgs are ok with hunters fury builds, but close range is high risk, high reward.

personally, if i had to recommend an easy farm starting gun build, id say negotiators dilema.. its a red core set so easier to farm up.

a pure red DPS (hiegh end) is still a goal though imo

if you do wanna play in close, hunters fury is also easier to farm

afaik, the only way to fix that specific issue is to reset the manhunt and replay the whole thing (although you can at least drop the difficulty down to run it more quickly and easily). I'd recommend doing the fast travel to NY and back thing immediately before turning each key in, should reduce the risk of it bugging out

that's the method for the loot farm (best done on floor 90 because 3 bosses) - the xp farm involves killing ALL enemies on floor 10 to get completion xp, then downing yourself without leaving the room, which resets it instead of moving you to your new checkpoint

90th floor can be tricky, coz there is no extra trash spawn after 3rd boss, so you need to leave one regular mob alive

the normal floor 10 approach also involves getting a specific floor layout (by repeatedly travelling to lobby and back) in which all mobs spawn from one specific door, so efficient players can clear it in 30s or less. The speed with which one can gain levels this way is pretty insane when it's done right

yeah, I've noticed when matchmaking for random missions that there is a noticeable increase in players with high shd levels but relatively poor playing skills, it's definitely skewing the usual progression

not that I care that much tbf, I'm not precious about xp or anything. It does give the players who abuse it a bigger advantage in farming expertise materials though, especially during global events when they can rack up huge numbers of stars for exotic caches

DUA last boss, everyone should switch to dps. You need to destroy the backpack before you can kill the boss, and with one or more skill damage/heal build players, it makes it longer.

The only thing I will say if you are going to use a shield, is: Don't overextend. A lot of players using HF think that because they have a shield, they can literally bum rush anything, and start to wonder why they're down moments later.
The shield is a tool like any other skill. Not a get out of jail card. Use it effectively and you'll be fine.

I think you could. But I'm not 100% on it. Typically, the Raid group will have someone dedicated to that job rather than have it be an on-the-spot request.

Unless someone massively fucks up.

i just play on a 65 inch LG oled. OLED65CXPUA
this causes me issues in some PC games due to my GPU being a 1080 (which really cant push enough frames at 4k) - so i haver to windows mode it
but if the 4xxxx cards stay msrp ill fix that.
until then, the series X console CAN run 4k @ 120 and use HDR

I also play sometimes with tv. I have tv for story driven games and monitor for competitive. We are just saying that tv isn't always the best choice for consoles

response time in ms doesnt mean much in terms of monitor specs

because it can be measured in both MPRT and GTG

i would rather have HDR support (as long as i can get at least 50 frames)
