What's wrong with Outriders? If you mean the P2P server infrastructure then that is a decision they went with but the game on a whole is solid if you play with friends from your server region.

I think that was hedging language to protect against the fact that... well, there are always gonna be crashes. They said they patched the big stability issue on PC, which is the one the person was asking about.

but yeah , it did make sense what you just said ,and i totally agree , plus let's not forget the this particular game is REALLY big , and extremely complex ,if the player base would understand this ,and at least have an idea how really complicated game development is ,that would be a lot nicer and would lower the stress on the dev team to let them work and fix things

also , i'm not trying to take their side ,nor i'm trying to get them to praise me or anything ,i enjoyed the game for long time , and it disappoints me seeing things happening like that in game, especially when things are going quite slow and keeps repeating itself , most especially the events , over and over and over ... i personally took some time into game development , on unreal engine actually , just wanted to discover and take a look on my own.... damn the time that was consumed without even realising how much time passed during it ... i ONLY stopped because i can't afford having a new CPU instead of the one i have because the processes in that thing takes so much , otherwise i would've continued studying this because i loved every minute

def hit or miss....I crashed a lot less on Windows 7 (lol I know) but recently built a new PC like a month or so ago. I crash more often now but still not "often". sometimes I can go weeks without a crash, then get 2-3 in a row, then clear again for awhile.

goofy enough most of the time I crash is when I'm vaulting over something or change direction a few times quickly (like turning around quickly). game will just freeze, lol. but again, very rare-ish. tho lil nerve wracking when it happens on HC and ur rushing to reload game to stay alive.

its the manhunt version that you have to toggle to, i dont remembered if it was ballpark or amusement park, but only one will have the option to toggle mission so that one, you will also have to be far enough in the season track to have it unlocked, not ingame so cant give you exacts

it can be old school subscription + paid expansion , or it can be loot box BS or it can be pure sparkle-pony monetization but.. either way.. the current dev / production costs really do need some for of monetization to maintain ongoing support for a game..

problem is... without great gameplay and expirience... you lose player base.

if the 'suits' would just think of it like taxes and a taxpayer base, they might understand / relate better. thing is.. consumer behavior reinforces the decisions they make (unless completely clueless, which happens.. not naming names).

end of the day its not John Carmack with his passion, its an MBA trying to hit quarterly numbers nowadays.

on xbox, neutral lighting changes stay applied. i messed with it the other day. turns out i need full lighting effects to look good on oled with dolby vision.

the thing that does change is... 'everything' twice now since patch, i have logged into the game on xbox to find ALL of my settings reverted to default. everything from combat text scroll to invert Y axis. it is odd.

not the end of the world but.. i find redoing UI scaling/setting to be kind of a hassle.

yeah, leagues are usually 2 weeks, the second week resets so you can do them again and earn more stars/medals

you can grind out all 60 in first week, or 30 each week or w/e, as long as u earn 60 total in the two weeks to earn all rewards

lvl 3 is still good. as long as you are doing challenging/level 3, your drops will all be high end, which helps you get together a stronger build. getting out of hard into challenging was much more difficult for me than getting out of challenging into heroic / level 4

when you are able to do levle 3 easily enough, or even level 4... what most folks do is increase teh global map difficult to match, so they no longer have to do the connected activities to raise the alert level.

like.. if i wanna farm crafting recipes from control points, i would set global map to 'challenging'. this would set every CP to levle 3 (the minimum lefvel need to get a recipe drop for completion)... even though i CAN do level 4s, 3s are faster and im wanna farm quickly.

if i need elites, well, level 4 has a lot more, and also each levle 4 has 2 named guys. so there, i set my world to default 'heroic' and all CPs thus spawn as levle 4.

everyone should experience the triple threat at a CP at least once. where they clear a CP4 only to have an Elite Patrol, Marauder, and Rogues appear at once afterwards. lol

if you are downed at a CP, teh NPC will try to get you up. if you die and must respawn, you can respan on teh 'gun' symbol (the NPC leader)
if you cant, respawn anywhere, then goto fast travel, and you can fast travel to the gun symbol (assuming it is still alive). this makes solo life easier.

Graphene Battery is one of the possible Sharpshooter Spec Tree upgrades for the Tactician Drone, you'll need to activate Sharpshooter and choose it.

personally, the spec weapon that's felt the best to me so far is the explosive crossbow. My natural reflex is to save spec weapon ammo for big targets and I found out early on that the crossbow can one-shot Warhounds on normal difficulty, so throughout my world tiers I was using it pretty much exclusively for trivializing them, which is the most utility I've gotten out of any of the four spec weapons I've actually tried

the minigun seems like it could be fun but the fact that you can't take cover seems like a downside so big that you have to shape your build around being able to use it past Hard difficulty, the flamethrower was probably good for crowd control but I never used it because I run HF and constantly disorienting groups of enemies is slower, but not less effective, than burning them. and as previously mentioned, I had issues with aiming grenades

(not a knock on the weapon- I fully acknowledge it was pretty much entirely user error)

minigun def suffers from having to stand out in the open. in higher difficulties enemies will drain your armor faster than the minigun can restore your armor

especially since a balancing factor definitely seems to be the 10% armor on kill, which probably works fine on lower difficulties, but when the enemies start getting spongier and take 7-10 minigun bullets to go down the odds of being able to kill fast enough to do anything but slightly delay your death seems low

one of the things I really do appreciate about this game is that you don't have to constantly do high-difficulty stuff in order to progress and flesh out your build. sure, your numbers won't be as high, but as long as you're okay with that, you can do whatever you want, and it's only at higher difficulties that you really need to start nailing down a more cautious build

because drone + turret is a convenient build, which is why its recommended for noobs. It's like training wheels. At 2k shd you should have a proper build. Not that anyone can tell you what to run, but that build is neither useful nor efficient

I still think its a crying shame the devs have not added difficulty to classified missions.

Yeah, for me matchmaking for Summit heroic on Xbox takes a couple seconds. Some missions in heroic are good to matchmake for too. The summit in legendary is slow to match, you might not find a match for like a couple minutes

its so slow. and you have to deal with everything anyway.
so what i do with randoms (if i can manipulate or force them to) is have a healer, 3 dps with revivers and decoys.
all jump down and use cover. healer overcharges early, giving the other 3 players 7 reviver charges each, which they then throw to other players. everyone throws decoys far. healer redeploys hive or scatters chems
healer spams scorpio on drones, dps players focus on drones ignoring adds unless they close. done in 4-5 minutes (or less)
