Happens to me often, too. I'm in Asia as well, just head to the social menu like mentioned and you'll find that option to find a better server although only when your internet is lagging, yes.

does anyone know what 'happens' after approx 5 minutes of playing. eg. stat update, syncing, caching, something/anything 'significant' ... since my game crashes around that point (haven't timed it exactly but it's approx 5' into gameplay) - this is even after cache removal, driver updates & rollbacks, dx11/12, various gfx tweaking etc etc etc ... but the 5' seems to be pretty consistent...
last few days have been infuriating, 5-7 crashes after ~5', starting sometimes after 1-2 ish hours of gameplay, tonight almost immediately...
"Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." is always associated with the crashes.

It used to be that games were on floppy disc then moved to CDs. People could just make a copy. With the evolution of gaming I think using launchers helps them control piracy a lot more. I don't know how you could pirate this game, but I agree these should not be used together. It just causes problems, but I guess it gives them warm fuzzys in terms of protection.

re the tactical assessment: select the resource in your resource tab and it will tell you were it drops. goes for all resources.

I know the far left (subway station) one has been a bit weird, the last time I went to get it it wasn't actually being defended and was White on the map instead of Green or Red (which made it easier, just run in and fire the flare from the centre area and defeat the one stage)

Didn’t do a SHD side mission which prevented me from getting the control point unlocked. Once I finished it, it let me capture it again and my problem was fixed.

Yup, it does. I had the same issues (black screenshots and OBS footage super dark) which went away when I disabled HDR in the game.

Before anything else, try turning DirectX 12 off, and tweaking your other settings lower.

That might be grit, bits and not nice things inside your controller, interfering with the module. I have the same issue with my xbox controller. luckily, it's a see through light up one so i can see what's in. unluckily, there is a lot of crap inside. You'd be amazed about what gets inside a controller lol. I know 2 fixes for xbox controllers but i think they should work the same way with ps controllers. if you're willing to try, do it at your own risk or watch a video of someone doing it themselves. I don't want to take responsibility for any damages.

First method is applying rubbing alcohol with a cotton swab to the base of the sticks, if they are easily accessible. You'll wanna not apply a lot. It should NOT be dripping from the swab.

Second method is taking it apart and removing whatever foreign items you find inside. Personally, this one seems less likely to cause damage and correct me if i'm wrong but I think doing this invalidates the warranty or something. idk i'm not a technician.

IF you get the game crashed dialog, before submitting the crash report, you can copy the breport file from ~\AppData\Local\Temp\Ubisoft\ before it gets deleted (when crash report submitted) - gl trying to open this tho, ubisoft have provided zero assistance with it;
If you don't get the dialog, event log is the best bet but it usually revolves around 'nvlddmkm ' stopping/restarting & not much more unless you get something more specific; gl

Mine did that a while back. Had to go into ubisoft program under D2 and verify files. It found some bad files and fixed them. Tasles a long time. Be prepared. Also make sure all your gpu and windows files are up to date.

If on console the 100% loading error bug can also be worked around by disconnecting the controller, it then gives the message that the controller is disconnected and will go past the stuck screen

It seems that if I have anything open before i start the game, I will run into issues. Especially things like discord, spotify and voicemeeter.

We finally found a solution to these random freezes in an old thread. We tried tested, no problems at all. Played 6 hours in a row with no crash or freeze. Delete this file from the game directory: tobii_gameintegration_x64.dll

after 3 weeks of crashing within 2-5 mins ... my fix for this was to reinstall windows 5 times, use different debloat scripts & apps to disable some/all telemetry & most/all/none bloatware crap only to try a 6th reinstall, leave the 'hidden' telemetry alone, debloat everything else, fully update windows, use ddu to remove any gfx drivers, install nvidia 471.96, finish off any other tweaks/customisations, disable all startup items, THEN install ubisoft (run as admin post install), then locate existing div2 dir + validate it (saves downloading 80gb), emptying all temp dirs (%temp% + %appdata% temp), starting div2 (change gfx settings + binds) before it crashes; then deleting temps again, changing div2 launch props to disable full screen optimisations - then got to play without crashes for almost 2h last night ... whew ... gl! heh

System: i7 9700k / rtx 3080 TI OC / DX12 enabled, Window mode (full), 1080p.

When i have absolutly no backgroup apps running = no crashes.
Not even Logitech G-Hub / Discord / CPUHW Monitor (temp tracker etc.), whatsoever.

MSI Afterburner seems to work. Dont get issues from this when it starts with the "Start with windows" button inside of MSI Afterburner.

As soon as i start discord, crashes like every hour.

What suprises me is, that Discord is CORE tool in gaming industry.
Ubisoft srly need to take care for this work together.

Actually correction, I think I did it wrong the first time. First time I just launched EasyAntiCheat.exe and changed it there, I relaunched the game and changed the affinity for the EasyAntiCheat that was running while the game was and it seems to be behaving. i have a 3070,playing the game on high-ultra settings DX-12 on 3440 X 1440
before TU-15 the game rarely crashed for me
now recently with TU-15 the game can randomly crash,and every time i go and play the game itll run fine for 15-20 mins then itll randomly crash again
when re-launching the game after a crash ill see some random bug (artifact) on the white Division logo splash screen ONLY during launch, but no buggyness (artifacts while playing) - and the only way to get the game stable again is to do a full PC restart then the game will be stable again for a unspecifide ammount of time till the next random crash

Alright. I've been having a lot of issues recently regarding quests that I have wanted to complete. I am currently trying to complete the technician field research and I am on step two. I have done the DCD headquarters mission at least 6 times, gotten to the boss at the end and disabled the lawnmower multiple times, even wiping multiple times just to be sure that I had completed it, and It still does not count the mission. Not to mention, I have used each type of grenade possible to kill 2-4 enemies for the second part of the quest, and it does not count for that mission either. I had also recently experienced this same sort of bug with the summit challenge effect expert, specifically that of the disorientation step, where I used the banshee pulse to effectively disorient at least 5 hostiles at once, yet it did not count the mission. Is there something I'm just inherently doing wrong? Or is it simply a glitch?

With the summit challenge, that's a new glitch which has been reported. The DCD issues are new to me though: most common explanation is that you haven't set the mission difficulty correctly, it's a frequent mistake.

In RU its called "reducing input lags"

All weapons and gear higher 11 went down to 11

or stay as they were since they were lower 11

i was able to catch the random bug that happens to me on the white splash screen when launching the game, if i see this pop up thats pretty much how i know my game will crash within 15-20 mins of playing if i dont see it pop up then the game might crash within the same time,or i can play for hours

Yo ppl, after the update yesterday I've been getting really long loading times to get into the game. For instance after I click "play" I have to wait for like 60 seconds for the screen to even go black and another eternity until i see the initial loading screen - which is then stuck at 0% for another good minute. I've heard this from friends of mine who have completely different specs, so I guess its not tied to any of that. Somebody here experiencing the same or even has a fix?

I got some problem since i start play this game. For example, I alt+tab from game to Chrome and went to kitchen for food about 7 min, then I noticed there are no sounds in game after back to seat, and the the video on Chrome just cant start. Whatever Ubisoft and Massive did with this last patch, unroll this crap. You have broken the game. I get disconnected at end of mission. In party, before this last patch I could load back in , in less than a minute. Now I get kicked from group, and it takes 5 minutes to reload. This game has become a broken piece of shit.

The reddit post linked in #unofficial-troubleshooting message may have resolved my crashing issues. I managed around 6 hours of play time yesterday, with the longest session ~4 hours, and no crashes. This may just be happy coincidence. As the game can crash within 5 minutes, load it up again straight away and it can be okay for a few hours. This is using DX12.
It may also be due to updating my BIOS to take advantage of AMD AGESA 1.2.0.7 to fix the micro-stuttering issue. I don't know if there's any correlation between crashes and CPU manufacturer, but it's the only other change I made.

You may already know the issues with very slow loading times and freezing / crashing since tu15 and more recent 15.1. the work arounds have been eac afinity to 1 core and changing exploit protection for division launchers. However, I am still very unstable on my pc. Have CTD every 1-15 min, 7 min load times, freezing on snow drop visual during load, have tested my rig and its certainly not me. i have 17, 32 gb ram, 1080 gpu, ssd all drivers updated, no heating issues, on liquid cooler, no power issues, 1000 watts. I cannot for the life of me get in to this game and play. i have uninstalled it AGAIN. if you have any other work arounds please post here. I also tried window mode, dx 11, run as admin, win 8 compatibility. This is why i know its not on my end. i also have 300+ mbps down. if you experiencing the same chime in. there are several forum threads on both reddit and ubisoft sites with other PC players stating the same. No response by the devs. shocking I know.

I restored full m/r/w to the trustedinstaller after the rename.

so I changed trusted installer to a reduced permission set for r/ex only and then renamed.
