yes 🙂 try that! thats what i did. i installed the ones from the drive i uploaded. (i only installed the 64bit ones) then ran bleachbit (or cleaner of your choice) then made ubi admin and it worked

i think i FINALLY figured it out, i think its an issue with 2015-2019 VCC++ files. so hopefully that works for you ex6!

That’s the word yeah, I believe there was some buzz about formatting being dangerous for SSDs and/or shortening their lifespan

doesnt matter what u do, doing a clean install of OS on SSD will shorten it’s lifespan, because it will perform a numerous new write on the SSD

hm, in that case yeah it MIGHT be a gpu issue. try that and let me know! when looking into that event viewer error it says usb error or gpu error. thats what others are saying in forums. try doing that with your gpu and try unplugging/replugging your sata cable(s) too.

So...i've had this problem for some time now where basically my builds don't do as much damage as they used to.For example,i am playing with a regulus-shield build and normally when i stack up all the talents i hit for 22m-23m dmg to the head and now i am just above 10m with everything stacked.Last time this happened it was at a random moment when i logged back into the game and after... i dunno...30 mins or so everything was normal again.This time though 3 hours have passed and its still the same,half the damage output.If anyone knows about this and can help me i would appreciate it a lot!

Sadly there is a crash issue right now and it doesn’t have a guaranteed fix but try this: Verify game files, Don’t run DX12, don’t run OBS, and if all else, try reinstalling the game, these might fix it.

i have never had a crash on PC. this crash is consistent though, exact part of the mission. yesterday was playing for quite a few hours no issues or crashes. but once i reached the end of the Aaron keener mission it just hard crashes every time. trying to verify files now and will try running with DX11. So I recently upgraded to a 1440p monitor and now the game runs like shit. Fair considering it's pushing twice the pixels out. However, I've set the res back to 1080p, cratered the settings slider in geforce experience, tried every combination of DX renderer, settings fiddling, and more and the game runs worse and worse every time I've changed something

My load times have shit the bed, the game has struggled to even get to the menu, let alone load me into the game at times

my latest attempt was at 1080p fullscreen, minimized settings, and it took 5 minutes to load me into the game and when it did I getting about 30fps, the highest I've managed, and was only able to move my camera in about 45 degree increments. Just jerked my view over

mind you I have only swapped monitors, nothing else

for the record it's a laptop projecting out to a second monitor. I played like this on a 1080p monitor and got a perfectly serviceable 60fps with high settings

I'm probably going to jinx it now but I haven't had any crashes at all since I uninstalled/reinstalled the VC++ redistributables. I saw a post saying it had solved it for them, speculating about mixed 32/64 bit libraries. So I uninstalled all the ones I had and reinstalled x64 variant of 2005, 2012 and 2015. (I had more versions installed originally but only installed those three.)

@fluid forge I've only had it once and then a reboot fixed it, but supposedly the most common cause is that anti virus/malware blocker is scanning the Easy Anti-Cheat files or interfering with reading them in some ways. Maybe see if there is an MS anti malware scan going in the background or similar, or try reboot if you haven't.

Hey I've been doing the missions/challenges to unlock the Technichian class. Im stuck at the 2nd stage where you have to destroy Blade's lawn mower and the Roosevelt island mission along with other two objectives which I completed. I've destroyed Blade's lawnmower atleast 6 times now and the objective was still uncompleted on the tracking screen , so I gave up and moved to do the later mission and to my surprise even that was glitched. Can anyone help me with figure out the issue here.

So I have a weird variation of what appears to be a very common issue: I can run the game fine the first time I boot up my computer. If I close the game and reopen it, I get the bug where my primary monitor gets no input when the game is in focus, but when I tab out I can see it.

I have all updated and freshly installed gfx drivers, none of the booster software running. I have the game in windowed borderless and edited the cfg to match that.

I'm running TD2 on Xbox Series X and I've been experiencing a bug where I'll do a Territory Control activity and get all the way through it, and the only thing left to do before I get the xp is to open the gear stash, except it doesn't give me the option to open the box. So I can't get the xp. Is there any way to fix that? It's really annoying and it happens like 1 out of every 3 Territory Controls I do. It's already happened 3 times just today and I've lost 600k xp just today because I can't open the box even though I have the key. I could submit a screenshot later if needed

Here's what I figured out. I've managed to make this problem go away by force quitting the game any time I see any kind of glitch. But it has to be force quit using the Xbox button on the controller, because otherwise Xbox Series X's Quick Resume feature keeps all the glitches active any time you load the game since it's just resuming the game in a glitched state

And since glitches don't appear every day I play, Quick Resume is still really useful

(But due to the issue with today's reset/season start you're technically in a season, but you can't advance your season track, so you won't get proficiency caches until they fix it)

So, I think the issue started when I uninstalled Breakpoint after the free time ended. Pretty sure I also uninstalled some dependency needed by both BP and TD2. Took a reboot, and complete uninstall / reinstall of TD2 (had to manually delete the folder) to resolve.

Hello. Where can I find the crash reports? My game is keep crashing (Sometimes doesn't crash for hours and sometimes crashes 3 times in 15 minutes) and I've tried everything that is suggested on web searchs.

*Disabled the in-game overlay.
*Did the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and selected "Scaling performed by: Applicatation"
*Disabled the "fullscreen optimizations"
*Tried on both fullscreen and borderless
*Windows and all drivers are up to date
*Verified game files couple times
*Decreased the highest CPU power so it won't peak and work at 100%
*Checked my RAM, CPU and GPU usage and temperatures while in game
*Decreased graphic settings to medium
*Disabled every 3rd party apps in the game settings that controls rgb lights, etc.

My rig: Ryzen 5 2600x, 32 GB ram, RTX 2060 6G gpu
The only thing that I couldn't find and check the crash reports itself that I keep sending after the game crashes. I want to check those crash reports myself so I might see what's really going on with the game...

Yup. A lot. It seems to be tied to the players you've recently played/grouped with. There's nothing in them. It looks like a "notification" for "possible future friends". For example, I did a raid with randoms yesterday and I had 6 new messages today and all were the names of the players from the raid.

And, funny enough, none of them are mentioned in "Friend Suggestions" under "Friends and Groups".

Actually just had an update to "Ubisoft Connect" and upon installation and restart of the client I've got no more "messages" queued up that are not there so to speak. Hope this has fixed the problem. Will see in the "future".

This bug is something that’s been here since Alpha, to Beta all the way to launch in 2019, main reason i didnt buy it back then. I played multiple times with free trials to see if this would be fixed. Today in 2021, a friend gives me a copy of Division 2, to which i feel very happy to play thanks to my positive experience on console with it.

A stupid stutter, framedrop and mouse lag issue that persists 2 years later and i cannot, after nearly 15 hours of playing, find a fix for it

I tried core affinity and task manager priority, both unmodifiable thanks to an access block. No CFG file works either, launch commands in launcher dont work

not sure about the mouse issue, but try fiddling with your graphics settings. 85% resolution scale especially works wonders for fps

one way I found to reduce CPU usage was the ingame framerate limiter, dropped it to 45FPS and it caused a noticeable drop in CPU-related lag

that's a separate issue from the marauder crash, there is some issue with nvidia drivers recently, most people seem to fix it by switching to DX12 or rolling back the drivers

also if you run into the marauder bug, do it solo and it'll save your progress in the mission. Took me 4 attempts on pentagon before I could kill that marauder, but it did go down

if you're solo when the marauder delta-3's you, you should be able to reconnect at the same point in the mission, so you can wear down the drone bit by bit and complete the mission that way. If you're grouped, it seems to put you back at the start @timber sable @plucky plover

Hi! I can't start the "Garage Stash" side mission. I'm unable to interact with NPC Stephen Shore. I've completed all other 39 side missions, this one seems to be bugged for me. I've managed to find info about this mission and reportedly many players had had the same issue yet I didn't find any solution. I tried some time ago and today a few times. Troubleshooting a PC is basically taking things out of the equation and trying to find the point of failure
so try taking out GPU first, then one memory, then the other and so on

make sure all connectors "click"

GPUs are really finicky with power, really make sure the connectors are properly in place for it

at the GPU point and PSU point (in case it is a modular psu)

if it is not receiving power properly most have some LEDs near the connectors that show a green or red light

If power is an issue a stress test will most likely show

I'd recommend at least trying to see if you can't build your own for a reasonable price first

but if you manage to get a prebuilt from a high quality, reputable place you might just be able to use it as a baseline for future upgrades, especially with that psu you've got on hand

the problems with prebuilts in my opinion is it's sorta like playing the lottery.. sometimes you get a really solid pc, and the other 99% of the time the pc is scuffed one way or another and you'll have to deal with the fallout later down the line

Been playing a lot with the mortar turret. Does the aim get stuck for anyone else? What I mean is, I'll put the aim in one spot, and no matter where else I look, it's stuck at the last spot it fired so I usually pick it up or destroy it. It probably happens 10-15% of the time.

Anyone having problems with gear mods not saving to gear after you switch loadouts? I know I'm not using the same mod on different gear so that's not the issue.

Not generally, but I know it's easy to find improved gear mods, delete the old ones, and forget to overwrite your loadout with the new ones (also overwriting does fail on me sometimes). It's also easy to put a piece in your stash with a gearmod still attached, and it won't then be available to your other loadouts unless you're in a a safe area.

That makes sense. But, in this case, I will literally add a mod, save it, exit the build, go right back in and it will be gone.

IIRC, they're not visible in the loadout preview, do you mean you can change loadout, change back and it will be gone?

I'll go into the loadout, pull up a gear piece (e.g., backpack), assign something to the open mod slot, see that it is assigned in the piece within the build, go to another build then switch right back to the first build, and that slot will be empty again.

I'm still waiting for DX12 to be fixed for The Division 2 like it wasn't back in Division 1 so I can actually obtain 30% higher framerates. Like It was advertised. Used 3 different graphics cards for Division 2 an every single one of them crashed on Division 2 with Direct X 12 enabled. Didn't matter what graphics update I had. I never wanted to work.

But, I doubt it will be fixed! They might as well remove the API from the game. I was shocked that Heartland had it when it shouldn't even be in thier sense thiers a huge issue with it in Division 1 & Division 2. So nobody is gonna use it. Unless thier GPU is feeling generous an not crash or freeze 25 times in one day.

In other games like Scavengers. DX12 works fine but, In the division series. Snowdrop is just not designed for DX12. I eventually gave up complaining about it an stopped running the API. Sense Ubisoft & Massive just kept blaming my PC. Even tho I have auto updates on everything. So I have the recommended version.

DX12 works very well on my RX 570, been running it for quite a while

For me it's like this:

• dx12 = 20 more framerate with more occasional FPS hiccup, quite a bit of unexpected crashes.

• non-dx12 = Lower framerate, hiccups of increasing frequency and duration and a rather predictable crashes that happen less then DX12.

Oh also forgetting with DX12 the game also loves to put itself on windowed mode out of random.

equip pulse, use it to hopefully find the enemy

if they're stuck just behind a wall or under the floor or something, switch a skill to oxidiser chem launcher and use that to kill them (the area of effect goes through walls)
