Has anyone experience the game not launching? I have to manually have to kill the task after waiting 5-10 mins. If your game just refuses to launch on PC, try going into your Task Manager, scrolling down a lot and then killing the Div2 task. Then just re-launch and it'll work. No need to wait.

I solved my problem by deleting the cache found here,

C:\Users<YOUR USERNAME>\Documents\My Games\Tom Clancy's The Division 2

I guess somehow it got corrupted? Anyways I hope this helps someone else.

I discovered that it was the in-game DirectX 12 setting that was really causing it.

I'm trying to unlock DZ West, but the C4 to blow open the gate hasn't spawned and the objective skipped towards "Enter DZ West" while the gate is still shut. I've tried fast traveling away to The Attic, but it still hasn't spawned when I got back the the DZ.

EDIT: Closed app and reopened, spawned right outside of the gate as it blew up, I have no idea how, as I never even saw the C4, but I'll take it

Doesn't work for me, five consecutive shots are of the same damage.

Albeit it was in training range, I tested that 1 hit equals 1% CHD increase, 5% CHD increase should have been a significant change to damage but nothing

Division 2 should not take that much ram as it says in task manager it is using 4.7GB ubi connect takes 0.4 gb and everything else roughly 2 gb maximum all together as they are windows core processes

Also loading screen for some weird reason takes 70% cpu usage when im fast traveling or respawning

My settings are as low as they can go and im running gtx1050ti with ryzen 5 2600X and 16GB ram (850w psu that I know on my build is overkill)

Sort your task manager by RAM usage, and post a screenshot. I'd be interested to see what else is running in the background

Anyone know if it's possible to retrieve the "crash reports" that uPlay sends when Div2 crashes? I was playing on the weekend without issue, and today have had multiple hard crashes.

Nothing has changed on the PC itself, COD BLOPS CW caused my system to bluescreen earlier tonight. I've just verified/repaired Div2, and used DDU in safe mode to remove and reinstall Nvidia drivers, but still getting hard crashes.

I've had that problem in a bunch of games, and I found it was due to Windows 10 "ransomware protection" thing stopping games writing changes into protected folders.

Snowrunner did it a bunch of times and I had to play the tutorial mission a bunch of times until I figured it out.

I believe I have that turned off, I have done some modding on skyrim and other games and had issues with that while adding mods

I didn't turn it off completely, I just whitelist game directories that require it.

Check the event viewer in the Control Panel (or win+R and type "eventvwr.msc" and search/filter for event ID "6008" in the System log. Hopefully it gives a clue on what happened. You can check the events around it for clues as well. A reinstall shouldn't be necessary but you can verify the game files to be sure they are not corrupt in any way.

I'd also undo any over-clocks (CPU, memory, GPU), at least temporarily to see if that has any effect.

Overclocks that might be stable on one title could be unstable on another. It's not unheard of. I'd undo them all and then test memory, possibly HDD for good measure at the very least. The file corruption is likely due to the "dirty" shutdowns. SFC and DISM can help but if there's too much damage you will need to backup anything you can't do without and reinstall Windows.

If you switched platforms I'd definitely do it for stability sake.

If you go with higher tier anyways. I had a lower end one before and it would do things like jack up SOC voltages + your offset. Pretty sure that CPUs memory controller is a goner now to say the least.

The DX11 stutter, did that recently start for you? I have been playing the game since launch and recently (can't quite recall) DX11 has started to stutter quite badly, like maybe ever 10-15 minutes it will go from 120-130fps down to 10-20 for a couple of seconds, the DX12 crash I just gave up on..

@merry beacon have u tried using another mouse to see if it works differently? my other suggestion would be to make sure all ur drivers r up to date; worst case would be to restart the computer; an extreme suggestion would be to reinstall the entire game.

could be false positive. i use a software called ccleaner which cleans out unwanted computer junk, but triggered the easy anti-cheat msg inadvertently one time. When it happened, it just closed the game, but I was able to boot back in once I closed the ccleaner software.

Hello o7, I have an issue and since Ubi is sleeping at this time of the day, I came here ^^

I have requested backup for doing Viper bounties and a lovely agents came to help me, then we goes to Pentagon Breach to continue with the manhunt, and there is the issue, he had already done it and not me, so he spawn inside of the safe house and me in the helicopter spot something, I advance and nothing heppen, no dialogue no enemies nothing.

So I assume it happen when we reach the safe house, momumental error, now everytime I teleport to the side mission I end up in the safe house with the door closed and the requirement of doing the side to do the main.

We tried everything get back to solo, change global difficulty, everything.

Do you know a way to start it all over?

I'd try abandoning the bounty and start over or restarting the entire manhunt. Since it's still 1st part of manhunt no biggy on restart man hunt if you need to.

The issue is not the bounty or the manhunt, the issue is I can't start the side mission "Pentagon Breach" and so I can't do the 2 main mission inside, it is an objective of manhunt but even if it wasn't the issue will be the same

If anyone is experiencing a bug where you get no game sound at all, even when at the snowdrop animation booting up the game. Try re-installing the game, I had to do this on Xbox one X and it fixed it.

Try to lower down the resolution, since you never mention u played at what resolution. This may sounds harsh and rude. The only other solution that I can think of is to upgrade your PC.

As for the other question, no i personally haven’t had any issues, some commendations work in tiers, you have to do so many of one thing then so many of the next etc...check the commendation for details

I have been having performance issues. About a month ago (before Ubisoft connect launched, if that helps) I was getting a good 60-80fps smooth on med settings. But not for some reason I can’t keep a consistent 55fps on all low with stutters and stuff. My specs are a ryzen 3 2200g, rx 570, 16gb ram. my game randomly freezes since TU12. Doesnt do anything, only way to close it is by ending it in task manager. Last time it happened game went into windowed and couldnt get it off the screen while trying to close it or minimize it, had to use task manager to get it out of my screen.

I cleaned my ssd, installed .net framework via windows updates, all drivers from the MB disc and the c++ redistributable and the game is still not running... only causing a critical hardware error no matter what over/underclock/stock setting I set

The Motherboards shipped together with my new CPU but it did have a surprisingly old bios... the one right after that had improved system performance and stability

This is my 2nd time getting error of Charlie-03 error
is there like specific programs that this Easy Anti-cheat doesnt like?
it gave me like sdf-a-data-0000 for the first time and 2nd time its random numbers

How many are using NVME m.2 ssd?
I've had a big problem with my drive the last few times I've played the game, and it's only with this game. I thought maybe it was a bad drive uninstalled division put on a different drive install a different game on this m.2 drive and I didn't have a single problem with it for the 2hrs I played that game. But division installed on my m.2, yesterday I was cleaning out gear and I knew it was going to crash, I was getting rendering errors on pictures, the game crashed cleared out of it closed uconnect reopened it in the game wasn't there The files were on the drive I was not able to access the files and then all together my m.2 drive just disappeared(bios didn't even show the drive installed). It's done this twice now. I put it on a sata ssd and worked just fine. Is this going to be a problem with the drive or game files somewhere? Also has this happened to anyone else?

Hey. I never noticed this until you posted this.

Previously yes I installed this game on my NVME M.2 SSD, it crashed a lot. I moved the game to my SATA SSD due to no more space in NVME and to free up the space for other games. After that, yes, as what you said, lesser crash on the game, but it still crash tho once in a while. RAM used by TheDivision2.exe ranging around 3000-5000MB as per Task Manager.

Increasing windows' page file helps, but it still crash once in a while. I don't experience any crash on other games tho, even without increasing windows' page file.

But if you said BIOS didn't even show the drive, I believe your NVME is going to die soon, you might want to check it or do a backup before anything bad is going to happens.

i've been having performance issues with my game and it is only this game and not any other game i would play. my settings have been set to low on everything and i put resolution scale at 75% or 85% i believe to help offset the performance. This is what basically happens my game would sometimes occasionally freeze. my fps would be fine i even put a fps limit of 75 to help it out. at first i thought it was my old cpu which is the i5-6500 then i got a cpu upgrade (9400f) but i would still have this freezing issues. any help?

16gb ram (2400mhz)

I can't launch the game. It goes to 100% and stays there. Sometimes it goes on to the character selection, but my character isn't there.
It crashes Windows and a reboot is needed. Sometimes I get a Charlie-03 error about Anti Cheat being messed up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, no fix. I've repaired the EASY anti-cheat and still no luck. What's my next step?

Haven't had this issue for months now and it just suddenly started again the other day. Whenever I aim down sights the game will snap back and forth quickly which is really annoying. It's not all the time though, haven't had any issues today until I died once and now it's back and the game is almost unplayable for me.

This was a problem about a year ago actually, the only fix I can find about it is to turn off ADS toggle until it's solved.

because with your specs depending on if your on a 4k monitor or a 1080p monitor your frames most of the time will be lower on a 4k from my past experience i now run on a 2560x1080p 165hz monitor and i get above 60fps

Assuming the game files are in good shape, that's gotta be a driver issue of some sort. You might need to look around unless someone else can sound off here because I'm not sure how many of us have the latest generation video cards right now.

A while ago, I was playing normally, until I was DCed from the game, and wasn't able to reconnect.. then I noticed my connection was kinda borked, and thought it had to do with it.. but around the same time I got DCed (around 50 min prior), I noticed a security message from Ubi pointing to a foreign login, which made me change password. But I have 2-step on, hence why it's strange.

I didn't click any link, logged on my acc through site, and changed password, which I could do. But then, even so, within those 50 mins, it displays there were 2 failed, and 2 successfull logins from 4 diff foreign locations..

If you have any keyboard or mouse software that allows you to change settings on them, try closing them to see if that helps. Also try a spare set of you have one available just to rule out the hardware. It's possible it's extreme network lag as well. Especially if you're on something like Stadia.

I've set the "Run as Admin" on all 3 the .exe's in the game folder, and ran Uplay as Admin and that seems to do the trick, was playing for about 1 hour without any crashes/freezes

and before the mods or devs or whoever asks me if i am using a third party peripheral, i am using the xbox series x controller

I never crashed before this update, and now it happened 4 times in a few minutes (I tried walking from White House to the "Toxic Alley" checkpoint). I'm using DX11. I'm gonna see if updating the Drivers change anything.

im on dx12 with a 2070 super at base clock and the previous update was the real noticeable one that started making me crash intermittently... then, as I said, completely vanished with new drivers for me
