so my game has always been connected to a ubisoft account with the username rose but when i upgraded my computer and i dont use the same drive it keeps trying to open the game with a different ubisoft account that doesnt even have div 2 like it asks for a ativations key when i login to that account so is there any fix to this? i can show it in a call if there is someone that can help and needs to see what is happening

This has happened since the game launched I'm pretty sure. It happens with any surface that has ridged lines in it. Might be specific to certain textures with parallax mapping at specific angles from the camera. You can maybe adjust the mipbias setting in the "state" config file but I think you'll find that might adversely affect texture quality.

Do you have an Nvidia GPU and are using recent drivers? Roll back drivers if you are, I've seen multiple people have crashing issues with recent drivers, all fixed by rolling back to older drivers.

The pulse skill to locate them, then if they're stuck behind a wall or something the oxidiser skill can generally still reach and kill them. Or just restart the mission.

What are you trying to launch the game from? Easiest fix is probably just to open ubi connect first on your normal account, then launch the game

Yeah I got my drops from the current campaign the same day as claiming them in twitch. Earned the previous ones but didn't get them until the did the giveaway.
I've seen a number of other players saying they haven't received the latest ones though.

Got a minor bug to report, did so on Steam, but nothing came of it, despite a developer responding, so mentioning it here as well.

A few updates ago, all belt/hip gear customizations that had a visible belt as part of the model, lost the ability to show that belt.
Look here.
The model icon has a belt as part of the gear item/appearance, and they used to be visible. As you can see on my character, the belt isn't there. The belt you see are part of the pants themselves. The straps for the leg pouch and the pistol holster do nto attach to the belt. They just 'stop' halfway to the belt rim.

Extra image. See? The hip gear is hanging onto nothing.

If I swap to a different set of pants with no belt, it looks even more odd.

Hopefully the devs will fix it. It's not technically game breaking, but it is immersion breaking, for those that want that little extra immersion.
And this applies to ALL appearance options for the hip gear that has a belt as part of the model.

Summit is broken for me after last update/patch. My directives: no regen (armor), hard to earn (armor kits), fog of the war and cool skills. I used them all the time. But now "cool skills" or got replaced with "scavenged skills" or work as if both enabled - enemies drop skill parts. No regen gets replaced with" special ammo" or " pistolero". And it's random every time I travel to the summit. So when when I open the menu and change them back to what I need to I get this bug showing me "out of ammo". So I have more than one bug here. "Out of ammo" and "cool skills" works wrong. Game files validated successfully.

And when I normally exit the game through the menu - I often get prompted to send crash reports because the game crashed.

There isn't much of an actual or official fix to PC crashing since most fixes help delay it by one crash per week or longer. Tho I do know that Windows 11 and Division 2 do not run well together so you could probably try running it in windows 10 if you are using 11?

For any players using NVIDIA cards who are experiencing this issue, I have rolled back to driver version 566.36 and this had resolved the random crash to desktop issue that has occurred for myself. I have played for roughly an hour with no crashes after the rollback and would recommend this to fix the issue until there is a more permanent fix. I will update should there be any similar interruptions to my gameplay and any further fixes or band-aids I can find

Hey guys. Asking for any advice... I've tried going thru UbiSoft support but they are terrible... basically, my game launches without rendering any of the video but I can still see my mouse. My system specs are: 12900KS with 32 gb of ram and running a 4080 super. I'm experiencing no problems with my system and my PSU has plenty of overhead. I've already downloaded C++ redistributable to install new, disabled all overlays, attempted to launch in windowed mode, verified my game files, and reset all graphics settings to original (as painful as that is). I won't role back my graphics drivers because Div2 isn't the only game I play. Basically I'm asking if this is a known problem and if anyone has encountered this. In Div2 game folders there's EasyAntiCheat one. Go into it and click on EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe. Allow manipulating firewall and just allow everything. Then you can manually check by launching EACLaunch.exe from root's of game folder.

UPDATE: I claimed my Twitch drops on 5/27 and didn’t get them. So I filed a Ubisoft support case that day and I got them today. So either file a case or wait and see if they end up giving them to everyone after the event ends on 6/11.

Also, I have noticed that the season pass premium credits rewards actually show up the next day.

Pistolero has been switched with Scavenged Skills. Disable Scavenged Skills then enable Pistolero so you can earn ammo back to your primaries, but you still can't interact with ammo crates because of the bug.

This is similar to Scavanged Skills being switched with another primary last season.

The game 100% froze - but with the shooting sound from my weapon still going, and the rest of the PC and all programs were fine, just the game froze.
Could be on account of me downgrading my graphics drivers to fix other problems, but I've had this freeze a few months ago as well before downgrading the drivers, so I don't know if it's the drivers or the game itself just breaking.

You have no mods visible, but there is one that you will have available to sell. If you cannot sell it to a regular vendor (ie one with a npc) try it at a locker in a Safe Room. It should be available there to sell. Mine was a mod for the new skill, yours might be the same.

Delta errors is related to your connection to the server. Its not the game. It's your connection. Check your router or modem. Make sure you don't use VPN software. VPN's will trigger the Delta errors easily.

So after few days of running division 2 on administrator level it began crashing again. Go to the boat first (there wont be anything there) and just wander around on it a bit, then go to the first canister location in the correct sequence (it should be there) then lastly back to the boat, that worked for me 😉

Hello everyone,

I love Division 2 but it is unplayable for me. The game keeps crashing with no error messages. The game just ends and I am thrown back to desktop with no error message or anything (feels like the game just Alt+F4'd back to desktop). The game can last anywhere between few minutes and if Im too lucky, up even 30 minutes. I think I have searched all over internet and tried every method but nothing seems to be working.

I am running the game on the following system:
Windows 11
32 RAM
Geforce RTX 4070 (Driver version 576.52)

Does anyone have any opinion or suggestion on what can cause this and how to fix this? I think I have tried pretty much everything but I am still open to suggestions and trying not to lose faith...

・I’m using 4 characters.
・May 27, after the update, DELTA-04 errors started occurring when selecting my 3rd and 4th characters.
・June 13, a DELTA-04 error occurred after the loading screen when my 2nd character was returning from Brooklyn to D.C.
・June 14, the same error occurred with my 1st character after returning from Countdown to D.C.
・Currently, I am completely unable to play the game with any of my characters.

Try rolling back your GPU driver. Many people are having crashing issues with recent Nvidia drivers. I am on 572.16 and don't personally have issues, but you might need to try older ones like 566.36 to fix. But yeah, keep trying older drivers until you get one that fixes it.

Hi guys, i got a question regarding Division 2 Brookling DLC, Scavenging Points are now shared across all characters on your account but for some reason I only got it in one of my four characters, the shared pool on my character's SHD watch did not appear on the rest of my characters. Is this a bug issue or did I miss something on the game to benefit the rest of my characters SHD scavenging points ? anyone had the same issue? any feedback will be appreciated thanks.

You would have to deliberately choose 'create HC character' when first setting them up, and if they die then you lose them and have to start from scratch. If all of your characters are the same shd level then it's highly unlikely any of them are HC. At that point I'd get a short video demonstrating that your characters have different numbers of scav points left to claim, and open a ticket with Ubisoft support.

Learned a valuable lesson today. Never going to be using XMP ever again. After updating my BIOS from ver 1812 to ver 1820 for the Z790 and leaving XMP off Division 2 has ran for over 3 hours and 15 minutes so far without crashing.

WONY will not progress on boosted characters.
Today I tried going back to WONY to finish after boosting two characters to 40. Haven no longer appears when fast traveling in. Managed to hop over the fence in Haven on one, which do not open, and walked around to the side missions and then the safe houses. No enemies spawn except in underground and control points but you can't call allies to secure the CPs so no point. It's almost like the game forgot that you went in and did the opening mission. All the NPCs on the gates state "you are not welcome here". Is there any way to fix this bug? Aside from deleting and recreating my characters?

It's a known bug, only workaround is to never have selected a specialisation until after you open it, but it's obviously too late for most people. Just have to make do without the cache until they patch it.

If you have the Brooklyn DLC, go there and pick the directives you want. It should show them correctly, but even if it doesnt go next step.

Then go back to the whitehouse, then fast travel to South DZ Golf (the one to the left of the main entrance)

When you load in the game should then do a quick reload again automatically (so load to the checkpoint, then it reloads again) and you should end up with the correct directives.

This has worked everytime for me, give it a try. You might be able to do it with going to NYC first if you dont have the DLC, not sure.

i dont have brooklyn so i went to new york, doesnt work for me unfortunately, the directives show correctly in NY but they revert back to the bugged directives

Maybe try changing ALL the directives off (reload) and then on (reload) again in NYC. Then go Whitehouse -> the Golf checkpoint. That might work

When you arrive back in DC it will still show them as bugged until you visit the DZ checkpoint, and hopefully there the game will do a small reload and you will have the correct directives. Unless this only works with the DLC at the start of the steps

I play Challenging 5 Directives too, not sure if you need to add them all for it to work either...

Guyss...I have fps issue...I have intel i9 14900F and rtx 5070ti. Im running the game on my 1080p monitor 240hz on everything set to ultra and im getting only 65-70fps. I have checked that reduced input latency is turned off and dx12 renderer as on (also tried with off). Why is the fps so low?

I tried the ingame benchmark, it shows 160+ fps in ultra, but in game it is below 90 fps. V-Sync is off. All other games work perfectly fine except this. CPU and GPU util is same at 50-60%.

So for the PC users that are crashing a lot. I know you guys updated all the drivers that you're supposed to, but have you tried making sure your gaming monitor has the correct firmware and drivers installed?
I really didn't start seeing a crashing in div2 till I bought a new 4k monitor. I tried everything graphics related and still crashed, but didn't think about the monitor needing an update. I recommend giving that a try to resolve your issue.

Updating the firmware for my monitor and making sure my computer had the correct driver install did fix my issue and resolved similar issues with other games. It sounds... well stupid but it helped me and I'm not complaining.

in the Auditorium room where the president is located in the normal mission. I opened the door into it and ISAC said rouge agent detected. There's nobody in the room and the next door won't open. Could affect the normal mission aswell, getting the rogue encounter at the same spot.

farming them in open world Prio's. is fast.
you can level up your Hardcore in Decent and not have to worry about permadeath.

even your Hardcore characters. (after lvl30)
its just a matter of putting in the work to level up.
and getting from 1 - 40. takes me 6 hours tops. solo. on Story mode.

as far as adding exotic components into gear and weapons.
you can LOOT them to CRAFT a thing.
but you can also just farm the thing its self now. 😊
gear mods rotate every week and just about every vendor has a different selection. (D.C. and both N.Y.s)

Hey, my friend just started Division 2 on PC and ran into a bug where he can’t assign his first skill. From what i saw. Every add took dmg so they should have mark. The most annoying glitch is when you have all stacks but lose them when switching to another weapon, cause that's not visual that's a "you lost stacks for no reason" problem

If the build is a loadout, try changing it and save then completely put back your busy bee build and re save over, it's the only fix we found. Like delete loadout and remake from scratch

I have verified the files, reinstalled the game and made sure my drivers were up to date.

I have checked the commendation ingame but unfortunately I don't have enough materials on my alt account to recalibrate a weapon. The commendation says you have to calibrate one weapon to full stats. So I can think of the following: farm for a weapon with high stats. Reroll one attribute to full stats, then optimize the rest. Have you tried it this way?

Yes. I also tried with a farmed weapon that was full roll for two stats and re-rolled the third to full. The only things I haven’t done are upgrade based on proficiency all the way since I am not to level 30 on proficiencies. I also have not done it for a weapon under level 30, since I only started to recalibrate after I hit level 40. At this point, not sure what else to try.

Well, to be honest: I can't remember 😅 I found a ticket on the Ubisoft discord. There was someone who tried to calibrate a level 30 weapon and it didn't work. It seems the commendation is bugged. You can add your experiences there (at the ticket) and you will receive updates then (choose "follow the topic"). Fingers crossed for you!

It may take a few attempts. Make sure the time fits. Do jumping jacks inside the pool, in front of the spotlight. One of my friends could only spawn the hunters when he was alone. An other guy could spawn the hunters when we were together in a group (I had done the hunters already). Seems not consistant how to spawn the hunters.

Final manhunt, target mission. It doesn't work when you kill the final boss. It means you're stuck and you can't open the room to get the manager to complete the mission. You're gonna have to fix it or troubleshoot it or something

Hey guys, i am kinda frustrated what to do at this point.
Recently, my character started to walk super randomly in a direction and does not stop sometimes for 5 seconds sometimes up to 20sec. No input at all is accepted during this time until it ends and it all works fine then somehow.
Sometimes this happens 5-10 times in a mission, sometimes i can play a whole day without it happening.
First i thought maybe its a dual monitor problem, but i tried locking my cursor to the screen with DMT and its still happening. Even with only one screen turned on.
Also tried different mouse input settings, sensitivity, other keyboard/mouse, fullscreen, verified game files...
Any Ideas?

I had this issue at one point. In my case it was a CPU utilization issue. I had to mess around with designating cores etc.. it did sort it self out eventually but it would come back every now and again after a patch. hasnt happened in a few years now tho
I have a friend who had a similar thing and he had to replace his CPU altogether to fix the issue, but it was really old (and low spec).
No hard answers here sorry but something to look into if you're at your wits end.

Do you have discord open whilst playing? I've found it causes some stuttering on my older system. If I disable the GPU acceleration in discord (so it's just my CPU running it) it stops this. Could be a solution.

Yo guyz! I have an annoying problem in the game with the bright fog/bloom when changing instances in the game (meaning going in a building from outside suddenly or in a tunnel etc and it stays if i dont change the position/direction of my char). The fog/bloom/smog or whatever it is dissapears when changing direction of the pov of my char at 180 degrees. Volumetric fog is on low but wont matter. Anyone have this problem? My gpu is Nvidia 5090 and game is running on DX12 and HDR off.

I bought the Ultimate Edition on Steam. It says all 6 specializations are unlocked with it. In the InGameStore there are just 3 unlocked And i cant activate the table to the right of the Quartermaster in the White House to config the specializations.

Do i have to be level 30 for the specialization bench even with buying ultimate (which says unlocks it right away - what sounds to me even on a lower level Character .. so i can use the drone right away - i saw a lvl 15 player in mission who used the drone .. i can not equip it even with payed the point to unlock the drone and bought ultimate on my level 15)

You have to be level 30 and have completed the main stage of the base game (up to Capitol building) to access any specialisation.
What the unlock you bought means it's that, once you get to that point, you'll be able to activate any of the specs without first having to unlock them by doing all the field research tasks

I've had similar issues with the Ubi launcher, in my case it was really really laggy, it happened after a regular GPU driver update, as in how you install it from the GPU app

what fixed it was using Display Driver Uninstaller, doing a clean install, then no issues, it's a bit peculiar why only Ubisoft launcher was affected, but worth a shot

Hello - trying to unlock Roosevelt Isand with Pontomac Event centre being the only mission I need to do for the Black Tusk invasion:
I've done it both on Heroic Standard Mission & Heroic Clixmax mission (The Manager) & it is still locked

you need to travel to Potomac Event Centre, and "toggle mission mode" until it says "Invaded".

You can normally do that from the map, but it's a tad buggy right now, so may not work.

I have double and triple checked; I don't have the disassembled part, I don't own (and have never owned) the complete exotic, and it is not in my stash. What do i do? I'm completing Tidal Basin just fine, the keycard shows, but it's always random weapons.

Do you use an overlay to monitor cpu/gpu temps (like msi afterburner)?

• If temps are fine, look for "fastboot" settings in windows and to bios and disable them.
  For me, this stopped a crash in multiple games and especially with my monitor randomly going black and forcing me to do a hard reboot.
  Oh, it's called "Fast Startup" in windows.

Has anyones GPU been running excessively warm recently, even though usage is very low? My 3080ti has been running 85 degrees plus at 2k with 30% usage. CPU (9800X3D is at about 15% usage).
Is this just due to bad optimisation?
Surely if my GPU was using more than a third of its power it would run cooler!?

This sounds a lot like the crashes I was having but I finally identified the cause and resolved the issue yesterday and last night was able to play for about 2 hours, rock solid.

I'd noticed in event viewer this entry "File System Filter 'EasyAntiCheat_EOSSys' (Version 6.1, ‎2025‎-‎07‎-‎28T16:11:09.000000000Z) does not support bypass IO.
Supported features: 0x4." Did some googling and it's a common issue with EasyAntiCheat causing crashes in games.

One recommendation I suggest division gamers always do us, make Task Manager "Always on Top". So if the game does crash, you can press ctrl+shift+escape to force close the game easily!

I was using AOEMI backupper which interferes with BypassIO at a kernel level, I uninstalled that and also disabled Core Isolation which was another suggestion online, I also made sure my AV was whitelisting the EAC folder, Ubi folder etc. Strangely I do still get the message in Event Viewer but it seems to let the game run stable without lockups or BSOD.

There are so many eac tweaks I've tried over the years, but since upgrading to Windows 11, all I've done is the fastboot thing.

EAC does like to update itself in the background and block stuff without telling you, I had an old Reshade DLL in my Division 2 folder for ages that was no longer used and suddenly EAC decided it was bad and wouldn't allow the game to launch until I deleted it, why couldn't there be a pop up message saying that it detected the file and didn't like it? No you have to hunt down in Event Viewer every time what's going on, major pain in the backside.

Can't recommend it enough! You don't need that setting, especially in the bios. It disables driver checks at the expense of your pc booting up faster. How fast does your startup need to be 😝

I haven't really thought about eac for years tbh. Game works now... mostly!

Yeah I had used it in the past and hadn't had problems with it but noticed some time back it wasn't really helping, when you have windows on a modern NVME the boots are pretty fast anyway!

I now have this gen5 nvme that might not be set up correctly as it doesn't feel particularly fast!

But it works, so I'm not bothered lol

I can run Stalker 2 with all the settings on epic, including the rtx stuff (with dlss quality) running at 4k, cooler than Division 2 runs at 2k!
