Best at taking up a group slot tbh
B-but my legendary tanking build...
The best part is the backpack whose talent explicitly says "this backpack talent does nothing"
So this is what im running currently, mostly in challenging/heroic. Would it be better to drop Salvo for a Striker holster and pick up overdogs or stay as-is?
I have been switching out blue and red cores, I'm looking for max dmg while still maintining 1-1.2m armor
Overdogs 1000000%.
Yeah I saw that and I was like "but harrier Pride does more than this..."
The damage amp you get from overdogs is way better than the RoF and 20% AR damage you get from Salvo and UA
Ditch holster, take the dogs. Build looks perfectly fine even with 2 blues
gonna try it now
im playing it right now and like, yea i have more armor and my base damage is higher... but my damage is hot ass cheeks bro
best build for retaliations?
Literally even Ninjabike is better than it, simply because Ninjabike has a functional talent
foundry tank treats me well
TRUUUUUTH
You clear in time?
That's how low the bar is for NBB to finally win btw, it only took until we got a backpack with no talent and no minor attributes whatsoever
better than nothing but still takes up your exo gear slot
my build is so unique
the runs ive done with it on yea. I rock Chameleon and such. my damage per shot average around half a mil and Foundry makes you very hard to kill. its pretty dope. and im only SHD 250
so groundbreaking
ik never seen before build
btw don't use Rock n' Roll on standard striker, you don't really need it, it's only for chest striker
Only half a mill? That's pretty lowball damage. I'm hitting the 1.2m - 1.7m threshold
just use an SMG as your secondary, SMG-9 with unwavering is a typical choice
damage per shot isn't that useful of a metric
ok cheers i rarely use secondaries tbf
Time to kill is everything
thats on average. it goes up higher to like 800k when i can get stacks going but its my build. does far more than this piece of shite Coe build i just tried
uhh, does HB really require the Vigilance talent backpack? and is scanner pulse really that bad for it?
cuz i wonna use the bluescreen with it, or should i just use a different gearset for those 2?
Put it this way: God forbid you have been EMPd and need to pulse something that has no head. Where damage?
join us nego gang
scanner pulse means you lose a skill that could've been something else, and EMPs exist
bluescreen pulse isn't very consistent
you CAN just run something like Memento as the backpack, but it means you lose damage.
im thinking of grinding for a bighorn, would you recommend?
yes, absolutely its a game changer if you land headshots
Heartbreaker is striker with extra steps and still does less damage
In conclusion, please just use Striker.
It's fine for solos but you'd have an easier time with striker
endgame - Im thinking of maining THE WHITE DEATH with BIGHORN --- what green gear set are you running
Just use Striker with Equalizer and Overdogs if you care for damage
i do have a strikers, don't know if its a good one,
i would be running striker for usual everyday activities but with escalation and randoms i have to run heartbreaker cause of just me not wanting to depend on teammates that may fail me
good luck landing headshots with bighorn though
Warhounds: heads? What's that?
3 striker 2 heartbreakers and overdogs ?
what the hell is that
what
No.
Holy shit this slaps
sadly but i use riot foam to help me out on that
The humble warhound, minitank and marauder:
this build lands me a upwards of 2.2 mil on headshot, i would be using rock and roll but i dont have it
the warhound spikes cortisol like nothing else
If you want near constant damage, check this channel's pins. There's a guide how to use overdogs
Farming rifles right now and not too educated with them, should I prioritize the lightweight m4 or the bakers dozen? Don't really know what rifles are good and what aren't good
All roads lead back to striker
so kill adds first essentially?
I don't like standard Striker, but PVGC Striker my beloved
I just changed it up a bit but this is my Foundry build. Ive never run it with Technician before since im leveling Technician atm. Works pretty good for me. Just noticed the empty chest mod lol
Depends
I've heard both are good, I mained the lightweight m4 in div 1 when it was still an AR but heard the bakers dozen is the most used
This build does that but instantly lol
Also not dependent on headshots either. It just rewards them
at the cost of needing you to get used to PVGC
Oh did I forget to mention it's stackless? It's immediate damage
Pixel peek 💯 never have that issue
just play like siege
I just dislike glass
I don't know how to pixel peek well enough but I don't die as much with PVGC nowadays so
M4 is decent
Idk about baker dozen
diamond back exotic is the best from what I seen
It's almost comical how reluctant the enemies are to shoot you after you bury your head in Legendary for a few days
I just taught my girl today and she finally understands the concept
Gameplay so good the video doesn’t want to load 🔥🔥
I'll make you stand at a specific corner in game and show you how busted it is. Playing with a crosshair makes it even more busted
Diamond back has been sitting in my stash since kenly college first dropped in year one but I'll try it out
I'm going for a drive
rn I either find tall cover or shove myself up against a wall
is your pfp your truck per chance? by some wild stretch of the imagination?
running over bystanders again
does your build not also die instantly?
any 6 red core build will if you try to facetank. the solution is to not get hit using good positioning and a bunch of other stuff
oo oo, me me, i can do that
one sec let me get the picture
Hey so im kinda new, Low SHD level, low expertise (3) and am trying to do anything above Challenging, i have a striker build but it doesnt have any survivabioity aand when i try and put defensive stuff on i feel like i do no damage, anyone hav ea good build that doesnt feel like it relies on expertise or anything?
So far making a Healer build and the only thing I need to change is the backpack
You can do legendary content with no expertise.
Staying in cover is a good start in surviving. What weapon are you using with your strikers set?
@eager cosmos i like this build i made a few days ago. a little more leveled than youll have but good survivability
does it also do at least decent damage?
my first build build i made was a strikers build with almost 100% hazard, 100% bleed resist on Backfire. pretty fun
i pretty much stick to cover or the shield, police M4
for me it does yes. especially with Chameleon, it builds up with its own stacks. it isnt quite Striker damage but still works
probably works with other weapons but you wanna use a weapon that you can use with the shield cuz how Foundry Tank works
so no lmgs
no LMG main weapon at least
ill check it out
i like it, it works. i'd love to find a good survivability loadout that utilizes bluescreen or iron lung
thatd be fun
Question as a make a build if there a difference between a normal MK46 and a Military MK46 replica? Or are they the same gun
Curious I searched up 1886 1 shot builds and i never saw them use nemesis as secondary when it gives bonus headshot damage, why's that
It can do the most dmg in one without needing anything to do it
Is the 0 meant to say 0 difference?
M249 is also pretty much the same LMG
But what about the headshot bonus damage from nemesis when holstered correct me if im wrong
That hasn't existed in years
Fair fair, after the advice I got I was looking around and saw that I can craft some so figured I might but with the names being different I was like hmmmmmmmm
Dang so the wiki is outdated af
The fandom one?
I guess so?
Def needs some tlc
Wanted to do my research on nemesis before i commit to grinding it
2.7 mil is crazy work
Its mostly overkill tbh
So it had 30% bonus headshot damage when holstered before but then rebalanced it since its like having a gear that gives 30% bonus head?
Doing my search and damn, is shroud really mid compared to other MMR?
You can get nemesis into your loot pool in a single session this week
Im tired of doing lootpools in countdown
Grinded 2 weeks for overdogs and still nothing, only got it from retaliation drops
Farming exotics in Countdown isn't exactly the best way to get any
Weapons are a lot easier. The loot pool is a lot smaller for mmr than the glove loot pool
Yeah i found out the hard way
How much armor should I be looking for in build ?
None
0
Only got my wanted exotics from retaliation and by players dropping it for me which i owe them alot to
Atp there should be a pity system for exotic cache
Depends on your build. An all red build usually is the best survivability but needs practice
All red with memento and what on the chest ?
Does backfire compete with striker dog ars?
You could run a Striker's build with Memento and 1-2 max blue cores in the beginning
Saw someone do solo legendary with it, mf was dealing 2 mils per crit
No, different use scenario
Guys trying to make a build with the new armor brand any suggestions
With event or no?
None
I've got tons of gear. Haven't played in a long while. What builds are popular for the dz ? Striker still ?
You got a link?
No good suggestions because you don't gain meaningful benefits in PvE
He was using multiple builds tho in 1 run, was pretty cool to see
Check #td2-pvp-discussions
Ok makes sense
Just saw him by chance
@smoky latch For headshot sniper builds, what attributes should i aim for in overdogs
I figured that crit and crit damage isnt it
Overdogs have fixed attributes
I cant recalibrate it?
You can recalibrate them but the rolls remain the same. Only the "quality" changes so that you might have to spend less mats on fully optimizing them
So overdogs cant have headshot damage attribute?
Yup, correct
nope
Before i log in, anyone else have a good solo build they use?
im honestly trying to find something that will help me play and learn and get better
if you like snipers i got a nice shroud build atm @eager cosmos
im down for anything that will help me chain these retaliates, and even try on a higher diff
basic strikers, all red we throwing you into the deep end
This needs to be used more
thats whay im doing now lmao
glass cannon chest
going to ask stupid questions to read answer later
breaking point any decent with ravenous?
send it
This is me right now
HH isn't great on retal due to helmets
aka sniper/1 shot builds
Still, I love trying builds
Build Hub has plenty of guides and builds for you to try
I noticed the pakhan now has the reconfigure blueprint but even though I have two of them in my backpack I’m not able to buy the reconfig blueprint - is it a bug or am I doing something incorrect?
im broawsing em now but nothing stands out i guess
negotiator is fun
didnt even realize you could get the ravenous blueprint now, got it on my first black tusk retaliation
Looks pretty solid imo. I started doing heroic with no max rolls and no exotic armor piece using St Elmo + Strikers, SHD 80 and 0 Expertise. I think it's a skill issue and not a build issue here.
also a lot of these use overdogs which i dont have
youre probably right, im still fairly new, just kind of hoping a build can shore up enough differences that i can use it to improve skill without tearing my hair out or gettin gbored on lower diffs
that sbeing said i JUST got a st elmos and am thinking of using it?
After playing this game for 3 weeks it has become clear for me that there is no need for die hard meta in this game. Build anything that makes sense and it will work like a charm. There are ways to optimize builds and certain items that give slightly more damage than others but all in all you can go far with anything.
thats how most ubisoft looters are, S&B is similar tbh
Yes, try it out. I love it but has since moved on to other builds.
but a good build helps me learn if that makes sense? hard to learn if im struggling, or tearing through content thats too easy
That is nice, I come from games where "META or GTFO"
anything works under solo heroic tbh
Yes for sure but the build you are using is considered the strongest single target build in the game(with ST elmos)
you mean solo under heroic?
Yes but anything that makes sense aka stacking chd/chc or headshot dmg or skill dmg or skill repair or or or just works.edit for Heroic
sure
i might jsut be too bad for the game lmao
to a degree... till you see people qq about not being able to tank div2 like normal looters
oh yeah tanks don't work
but like metioned pretty much anything is viable up to solo heroic.
up to and including solo heroic? or jsut up to
Including
Just waiting for the wave of qq for Escalation +t6
then i am jsut bad lmao
I'm already seeing people lfging as tanks in global chat
Use cover and learn the spawns
Chow, what are you running stacks wise in the Recombinant?
I like saying this game needs a mix balance of: Build, gameplay and knowledge at the end game. To a degree someone else can help other out but if you really lack of the 3 it won't go well
Recombinant?
Seasonal Modifier thing
the global modifier
um. I never look at modifers
huh.
Not the guy for it. Since my main content doesn't use them.
I do need to learn them for this season I guess for escalation
I think you just need to keep at it tbh. Think about what is going on and how you can avoid trouble. A few things comes to mind for me settling in the way the game works that doesn't come natural for me from earlier experiences:
Using cover a lot more than I am used to.
"Hipfiring" from cover on enemies pushing you to stagger/stop them.
Damage to targets out of cover is immense compared to in cover.
Tbh try a different build, do you have any LMGs? They feel a lot more like sitting back and shooting from cover than the a bit more up in the face push into the enemy style of striker+AR.
saturate(thing you don't want) invert(thing you want) split(thing you don't want)
Oh there's more to it. You can even go the route of getting 129% HSD extra and vice versa. It can get crazy
i love LMGs, but im struggling to fit them into anything, i have some good ones, I like pestilence a lot, but im havin gissues getting the tick damage i want out of it
i feel like when i play too defensivley things take daaaays to kill, and that seems to be an issue in retaliation
I can send you a link to a guy that breaks down the seasonal stuff over on Reddit. Seems top notch from what I've read @subtle bluff
A weapon that shines with overdogs but works just fine without. Try stashing your strikers build for now and rock that for a bit. I think playing different styles will help you elevate.
i know its a skill issue, so any advice would be great
got a quick and dirty pest build? id love something
hype
Since you are struggling I would play the obliterate chest you are currently wearing rather than a glass cannon.
Do I click this again?
that's fine, just optimize
not sure what you're going for, going to assume a hotshot or headshot build of some sort?
i stashed my Shroud for a Handbasket, because why not 😹
but i believe it's probably one of the top MMR, aside Nemesis i guess?
Got to consider the sheer amount of swag that baby holds.
Just as a general roll I guess I plan on making a hotshot at some point but dont have one made currently
advice on exotic since no overdogs?
coyote's or a ceska glove
coyotes it is
or be brave and got the no exotic route. be like ceska 1 piece, grupo 2nd piece 😹
or be extremely brave. Sacrifice or glass cannon + black listers kneepads. mark a target and take 660% or 625% damage from marked target 😹
Exodus Gloves are really nice as a defensive crutch if your damage is good, if you have them
Just FYI, exotics or named items aren't needed in any build.
CHC is a bit low
Ratio should be 1:2 unless you can hit the CHC cap easily so you can dump the rest into CHD
yeah im aware, im asking for advice
What should I use for back up weapon ?
"Any advice on exotics since no Overdogs"
Is literally what you asked so I thought I'd drop you that info 😉
fair enough
Do you guys think with the escallation missions, cc builds will make a comeback?
at a point they're immunity to status effects..
noticed that with GWH hyena. shoot pouch the keep running at me like nothing 😹
then i panick or die to them or another npc 😹
What is going on here?
what, you never heard of the infamous blackdogs? or overlisters last season?
overlisters ftw
I didn't really pay attention because blacklisters weren't good
already missed 😔
was a bug last season. you could obtain them but they'd have overdogs talent instead
black listers had overdog talent. perfect for that pesti build so contractors could also be used
rip
It was like 600% DMG or something and kept boosting to like billions of DMG
please re-read what i typed
bugged versions were overdogs in a knee
I knew all about them even got warned to stop talking about it lol
your last statement says otherwise
I didn't realize the BP was bugged though like that
This a good roll for the new exotic mask?
on what
new mask
we dont know yet tbh, itll take a few days to get it all sorted
Kind of. It's better than Coyote's at any distance beyond 15m for Critical Hit Damage.
But Coyote's offers a group-wide buff, and within 15 meters it deals 5% more Critical Hit Damage with only those two minor red attributes.
For solo, still too early to tell, but I feel as though a full red Investor's would be better if only slightly, depending on how to engage most NPCs.
I feel as though you'd still get more value out of overdogs
But I mean... you know... good luck hitting all 4 reds. It's a bit of an RNG nightmare and only marginally better than Coyote's, I think. Plus, like I said, Coyote's is a group-wide buff. So everyone in the team benefits. Unless you play exclusively solo, Investor's seems like a very edge-case gear piece.
That and farming an all red investor is gonna take you 8 lifetimes
i'd say longer honestly
mosquito is sleeper broken on a support build dont @ me
shred armor, pull aggro, hide, and heal EZ tank kills
did a heroic bounty with pest, definitly felt fairly comfy, gunner instead of firewall as well was nice, overall i liek it so far
forcing aggro is similar to heals bc you're preventing dmg to ur team while you're not taking any bc ur hiding
using it with refactor and harmony
huh
It's like a 0.4% drop chance or something like that, I think? I think I did the math right?
1/3 x 1/84 = 1/252 or 0.397%
My math skills are dogwater though. Realistically, it's actually not as bad as I thought it would be if that math's right. But then you have to consider the odds of also getting an Exotic drop at all, and then have it be Investor's and not Vile or Coyote's. So that drop chance technically plummets even further, lmao.
You could technically apply this to Reconfiguring only, I suppose. But the odds are still big oof.
ah the plight of the tank in every mmo, what is the value of redirected damage and how can i shove it in a dps' face
why i'd say longer, considering once you reconfigure from one thing you can still get that same thing again at some point again
Click in the channel saw GPT types and I'm out.
I can't be bothered to do all that math.
I know it's going to be astronomical anyway.
is core strength any good or is it just a gimmic
Is there any way to get the harrier pride or is it just gonzo
@atomic turtle No AI content on this server, thanks.
Feel free to ping an active mod/ report that stuff if you see it, folks. We don't want it in here.
Fair enough.
is nemesis any good for a sniper build?
yea, although I wouldn't use it as a main and more as an option to get HH stacks on first kill*
im just missing 1 piece for it and wondered if it was worth
hey guys just wondering how can i see my entire builds chc and chd not just the weapons stats
If you want to deal meme damage you'll never use, Nemesis works fine.
You're better off just running a Model 700 with Determined.
Does the Core Attributes stay where they are or will they level up?
stats page in your Inventory
@solar sable yeah i was looking in there and i could just see the weapons unless im completely blind i didnt see a overall chc and chd for the entire build
What shows in that page is the build's stats, values may vary depending on Selected weapon
ummm why doesnt it let me turn it into a Prototype
unequip
ok tyty ima try it
so the weapons stats are the entire build combined?
yes, it doesn't add up your secondary or sidearm values btw
to see each value you have to swap your weapon in that menu
(although you can see those, if you "hold to swap weapons" on the left side of your screen.)
oh thank you, i just clicked on the CHC and it showed everything thank you
see im building the pesti loadout and i was wondering what my overall was since the weapon was saying 56.7% chc and 127.1% CHD but i didnt know that was the entire builds stat so thank you
yup, those are your entire build's values with the selected weapon, if you change it so do the values
okay thank you again
just got an EB last night and looking for a strong build to go with it. seen some heartbreaker stuff but not sure if that's the best synergy. are there any really solid builds around EB for solo legendary stuff or is the weapon just that bad compared to other ARs?
Thing is its mainly a pvp gun due to no damage talent
White Death or Ekim's Long Stick for a sniper build
WD has determined
pretty unfortunate but i have seen a lot about how the gun isn't great. might slot it into a heartbreaker just to see but i dont have high hopes for it
what are the thoughts on Harrier Pride Vs Memento?
Memento is better
all around or does harrier pride have something
harrier is niche at most, the swapping is what killed it
thats what I thought yeah
plus you lose all stacks when out of combat
Experimentation with your builds in div2 is important, it's how you find what you enjoy playing.
oh yikes thats awful
Memento is the Ol' Reliable for survivability + dmg when solo, it's just so good and is the hardest working exotic out there
so i was wondering does anyone have a build like hotshot that replinishes ammo so i can run all directives without issue? idc if what the build is just not hotshot as i have it done prefected already
Shroud is such a tragic weapon cause MAN I wish it was better than just okay cause that model is tight
the only thing that does that work is Hotshot
pair it with Hotdogs and you get a powerful combo
the other build I can think of is OD w/Tinkerer
its actually useful for final ko's on bosses when you max stack and wipe the floor with all other enemies with m700 to get that talent to proc and deal that much more damage to hopefully 1 shot them if numbers matter
lol i've been picking up a ton of exotics lately but i have not gotten one of those tinkerer yet lul thx thou ill take a look at that build and see if it'll work it seems that directive is a bit painful i try'd using my other builds and it destroyed me
Tinkerer drops in Master Potomac Climax Mission and its crafting blueprint from Black Tusk Retaliations (Kill Squads)
You also have the build guide in the pinned Spreadsheet
ah that explains why i no got it yet i dont think i've ever done that mission
which mission on roosevelt am i suppose to run this on for a chance to drop?
ah gotchu the man hunt correct?
yup, The Manager is the name
Can you explain cause I'm a bit slow, Overdogs do the opposite so is it just good when every enemy is the same tier?
also is Bittersweet in the targeted pool?
ovd amp applies to the lowest tier enemy
shroud amp applies to the highest tier enemy
i.e you can make use of their amps separately, they dont force you into focusing in hierarchy or anything, just point and shoot
@solar sable anything i can change? to make better?
swap bag to Airaldi w/Vigilance and you get the 🌭 setup
you also need HSD and Weapon Handling as general attributes
okoke thanks!
I can help u build it if you want
what is hsd?
headshot dmg
ah thought it was ssomething else
i think i only need to farm for the airaldi bag no?
and Chainkiller with both attributes previously mentioned
and Htotshot knees w/HSD
and is there a better weapon than white death?
for Determined? nope
exotic wise? there are options, Mantis and Shroud e.g.
does 25 opt on a sniper add more range on a sniper before it vaporizes?
optimal range? BiS attribute for any weapon is DTTOOC except LMGs
ohh okok
but i wont have determined with there exotics no?
no exotics have there own talent sadly be so op if you could
nope
well reason i ask was cause some of dem outposts i can't hit npcs cause they so far out while defending outposts so was wondering if it would increase its range further or not
or if the gun was maxed out as is talking for marksmen rifles
ahh i see i see thanks! yall
well yeah but the dmg dropoff will be affected whether you put optimal range on it or not
chc, stability, accuracy, chd for last attatchment then? hotshot marksmen rifle 3rd mod slot for gun would be most effective in your opinion?
chc and chd dont fit on an MMR, go for mag size, accuracy, handling and stability mods
is there a point in going over 100% for accuracy or stability?
not really, but if you overcap by a small amount it doesnt matter much
stability at 100% is no scope sway while ads
does stability help with flinch at all? like when you get shot while in ads?
lol i usually use a decoy but uh can't do that no morez with all directives active makes my reviver hive useless is why i was wondering probably stick with accuracy then
Anyone have a core strength build?
Would this be better with hunters fury since I’m getting in all close and such or is strikers ultimately better in the long run
If you're enjoying it go for it.
Mp7 base weapons isn't good.
Stability is vertical kick (outside of the special MMR interaction), accuracy is reticule bloom.
@smoky latch Finally got that stupid bag 😂 so close for this build being done
the only missing piece is PGC 😈
Good stuff, cheers 👌
Yep I’m working on that now. Currently sitting at 54 chc 130+ chd
That’s Petrov Glass Cannon correct?
Perfect*
Sweet.
Trust us on this, you need PGC
Then that’s what this build will get. Hopefully it’s faster getting that than the stupid bag.
4 days that bag took.
I had way more trouble with the mask
I got lucky with the mask on 3 crafts.
I trashed that build to start over lol
So you want the named chest the sacrifice?
ye
It should be easier to get unless lootcifer and rngesus hate u at the same time
I thought I had one already in the stash. I must of deleted it. But I like a grind. Thanks for the input though can’t wait to use it properly
With season modifiers I got 43 defensive stacks that gives 21.5 damage protection from elites
@solar sable not bad for a single elite in DUA
Hello pro gamers, which riffle has the most stability? I'm looking for a riffle that can spam headshot at range without releasing trigger.
UIC15 MOD2
😶
Alright, I don't have one.
Accurate, slow firing - but you still need to hit the heads :p
Does the demolitionist explosive ordinance perk work with the ravenous explosion?
hello guys im new to the game is this build can work https://mxswat.github.io/mx-division-builds/#/EwRgtADJblffRDIC5gBZmzAdgKzJJGrAHzY4BshNRKlOYwYAzDNCDm8TydlP1pC4aQYN48UIPAE5oOTBIQolk1bRUrhy9RCA
Yes but it can crit too so....
What SHD are you?
50
Mrchow you can get 80% protection from elites with season modifiers
I tested it
Dunno. I haven't mess with or really looked at the modifiers.
Noted-
Did a run with that setup and did around 300k to 400k I seen 400k time to time with Lexington with full memento stacks
Still less than tech tanks.
Tech tanks?
heartbreaker, memento and technician spec
Oh that one
Or Striker
Die instantly, well, bit of a stretch. I can take 2 or 4 bullets if health gate works properly. Then again, my damage is instant. The other guy has to stack first for that damage
the only bystanders I'm about to run over are my damn managers at my weekday job
How you finding the new update chow?
I already grinded out the Black Tusk blueprints in one day. They're genuinely hard, especially the BT9 squads. The comms on those has me genuinely scared for just how strong the black tusk are starting to get moving forward with the lore
Played 6hr only of it. 3 incursion run.
Maybe more than that.
Ya I need to retal black tusk and see how hard it is.
BT retal are honestly quite fun
Not sure if I just get unlucky but my solo heroic bt retal only thing that makes them hard for me is the 50 bloody robot dogs that yeet the nade launcher at you.
Bt doesn't feel any different from regular retal
They're super hard. Their AI is jacked up pretty good. They move like Rogues/Hunters and hit like Legendary scaling
what's the best combo for the new gear set currently? all skill tier? all blue or red core?
For PvE, nothing. But I'm getting word of mouth from the PvP community that it's absolutely broken. You can have nearly 5 red cores, 6 blue cores and 6 skill tiers and hit like an all red build with capacitor
Is there anyone that has rolled a prototype with the other stat being anywhere from rock bottom?
6 pieces of prototype and 1 stat always maxed, the other stats rock bottom.
^^ intended to be that way
Kay!
Didnt they say there is a small change for you to actually roll off of minimum?
You have a chance to have other attributes go up to max value
Is it that small XD?
Extremely. 1 roll guaranteed, the other 50%. I think the last one was .3%
They may have changed it just slightly or something. I'm not sure. You probably got unlucky
I was exited for the first 3 seconds of rolling my lexington as it was fully maxed, until i relogged.
Yup that's a visual bug. And you've now bricked it
I dont see it that way, i use it for what i use it for and wasnt planning to adjust it anyways.
I refuse to "upgrade" my gear until they develop a better system. I'm treating it like beta content
I got more where that came from too so if im unhappy i can always use another.
Did you get health damage?
Weapon
You got the luckier stat then. DTTOC would've been more valuable
An upgrade is an upgrade.
20$ is 20$
It didnt take long whatsoever either way, i suppose the most annoying part now is rerolling the prototype talent.
what kind of build i need to use to one shot with shourd and nemesis?
hotshot is an option
True but if it's health damage it's a useless stat. Doesn't apply to things with armor until you delete their armor. Not the best upgrade. Some would say having a swappable talent would be better
I mean, not many better then killer for solo play. Its all about preferance.
thats the only option i guess?
that im aware of yes core builds are new and idk much about them yet but maybe that will be possible using some of those pieces and modifiers
Is there a picture of all prototype talents currently in the reroll pool?
how do i find this build guild in the spread sheet on here?
i think the spreadsheet is outdated
Pinned Message has a bunch of stuff
lol im so lost i guess ill just ask can you post the od/tinkerer build pic for me i'm trying to navigate and find it but i'm lost haha
Build Hub
ty
Hey
How can i change core attribute??
Tinkering Station
Hi there, rookie agent from japan here
What talents do you use with TDI Kard? I'm using ridgeway's pride build with stinger and explosive mine, and primary is carnage
the named one with the skill tier?
usually it's used with the revive hive to revive a teammate without using your own charge
I see
so it's not usual way to use it?
i use it for more skill damage
you'd want a dedicated yellow build if youre using hives and seekers
hmm
i use those skills to bleed the enemys, but is it not good choices?
ridgeway's pride just isn't that good to be worth building around
hmm, i see
Not many exotic gear pieces worth using tbh
so looking at this build of od and was wondering opinions for those that know of it use tinkerer or overdogs for exotic? and what backpack for high end? or other suggestions
Let me break this down:
DOTs Status Effects that don't have a way of scaling there base numbers aren't good.
The bleed DOT is the lowest DPS of all the DOT dmg effects.
Ridgeway Pride is kind of bait Chest piece due to not having any DMG real DMG buffs.
Iam not at my computer to send a picture of my current one but does anyone have a build for shroud? I use hotshot mainly
Oh, I guess I can just swap one of them for shroud?
yes you dont have to use both weapons in picture its just super convenient to have 1 high end marksmen rifle with talent determined for easy kills
Why vigilance instead of something like opportunistic?
because the point is to kill them in 1 bullet
You're trying to one shot not 2 shot.
Fair, saves me from trying to farm a unicorn the setup
Ya not a great build. Don't forget you need to be pretty close for Ridgeway to work and that is a trap itself.
Thank you btw
i see
sure thing; i didnt make it though these people did just reposted it
Iam just glad the bag will be easy to farm
yes i never understood the point in farming harsburg as it mostly rolls blue cores when airlodi rolls red cores almost every drop seemed silly to me
Good there isn't a good reason.
It's like 5 more WD over Chainkiller
yes you can some HSD but in the end 20 more HSD overall isn't that much in the end.
I think hasburg is 1pc headshot damage as opposed to araldri 3p
nah both are 1 piece but hasburg gets like 3% more head shot dmg
Oh, not sure what set I was thinking about then
oh thats right no its 13% head shot damage and 10% weapon damage
hasburg vs airldi
Only reason Hasburg does lil more is the more WD. The HSD helps Very lil.
is The Gift > Air > Has?
I guess anyone minmaxing for escalation might want it
2pc Has > Air > Prov/Has
You can't HH past a point in escalation anyways.
oh i just realized yes i meant in reverse lol as in gift lowest then has highest
Things have too much HP.
Dam
I just came back after a 2-3 years break. I checked the new Striker meta and wondering if there are veterans around tell me why did we switch from Sacrifice/Vigilance builds and Regulus builds? These still seem to have the best TTK so wondering why the deviation in meta?
Probably because striker builds are more comfortable and overall easier to obtain
Pretty sure striker was also the meta 2-3 years ago
When I stopped, it was mostly Sacrifice/Gift everywhere unless we are doing speedruns then some other deviations but either way, Strikers were not common back then.
That’s def not true lol
ok 👍
Strikers has been a top meta pve set for ages now. It’s been in spreadsheets. Guides. Everything
Still is... it hasn't change. The Skill level on newer has....
Other things get near it and aren't GC anymore.
Ya I did notice that it gets close without being as squishy.
Strikers is just put it on and play. Set it and forget it type of set. Don’t need to worry about taking amplified damage. Or getting hit and losing damage. Just shoot and kill
put on striker
get full auto weapon
???
profit
also lowkey iron lung is like 10x better than st elmo’s for a striker build it’s crazy
half the time when you stun em with shock rounds they get hunched over, but when they’re on fire they’ll stand straight up
Is there a talent/brand/gear that can help nullifying the electric shock from staying still for longer duration modifier in escalation tier 6 onwards?
Haz Pro prob
imo don't stay still
move to not trigger it more worth than going for haz pro
That'll work
Is this build good?
Need a short explanation on the new gear set, can anyone give
It gives % based core stats that are different from the base core on it. Cool set. Doesn’t seem very good though
Yeah im dumb
But the not very good i got it
It's sadly replacing umbra in pvp right now
I wanted an umbra replacement but not something cheesy like this
For a drone turret build its good yes?
any good build advice for beginner?
What’s the PvP set up people are using?
I know people have made some builds with it for that I just don’t know if it beats out the current turret drone builds
What's the average damage of the current turret drone builds?
The new gear set feels like the skill equivalent of strikers set
I really wanted core strength to be good but I just don’t see any use for it
my investor mask has skill tier, haz proc, chc and armor regen is it worth keeping as is or trying to reroll?
Same
Disappointing too cause it really had some potential and maybe I just am not finding the right combination to mar hybrid .. I just don’t see it being in one of my load outs
Wasted all my skill damage to fill it in a 4 piece new gear set
what make it cheesy?
Idk if 320k turret and drone damage is good
Since this is my first drone turret build
That sounds good but I am not experienced in that kind of build. I know people like refractor turret drone because you get heals
Made heroic retaliation solos a breeze tho
refractor or HE?
New gear set
He’s using the new core str
isnt that... pretty bad of a gearset?
He’s saying he’s getting 320k per bullet damage in turret drone with it
I used demolisher so i probably will deal more after i max out my tactician
320k/shot doesnt count too bad. the drone and turret have decent ROF
the new set gives 5 skill efficiency and whatever sloppy seconds you get from the extra one or three non-skilltier cores (if bp that has 3 cores)
So 6 skill core is pointless?
unless youre running a skill build with it. but then i dont see much of a quality skill build coming from it
Im running a turret drone build with it
skill builds want skill cores and the set doesnt give anything per skill core for skill builds
Anyone happen to have a good skill build they can send me like a picture of or something, don’t have anything particular in mind, just want something powerful to switch it up so I’m not just always running striker
Alr imma try, 3 piece of the new gear set, ninja bag, hana u holster and empress kneepads
If you're running turret or drone try what i just mentioned
Refactor head, holster, hands, kneepads, hana u chest with kinetic momentum and backpack with tech support, capacitor or test subject for weapon. Skill damage on everything skill haste on mods
@grim bluff how do you trigger overload
I can craft capacitor, should I run both as my weapons or one or the other as I can craft a capacitor after a bit of grinding and can grab test from the vendor
There’s a few things I’ve found, the Acosta go bag can, maybe you can do it with strategist as it grants a bonus skill tier but I’m not certain, for Acosta it’s definitley not ideal as it’s 15s on a 60s cooldown, btsu would work if you’re running hive as toy can detonate it and give the party overcharge for 15s no cooldown
I know there’s more out there but I’m still new to this so I don’t know every source of overcharge yet
Can always use future perfect on a backup weapon
Hello pro gamers, which skill snapshots overcharge?
So what should I run for the weapons for the build you suggested? Both test and capacitor or either of the two and a future perfect weapon or something else?
so whats the best approach to the new brand set? blue red or yellow core main?
One or the other, depending on which you prefer
You get nearly 5 damage cores (2x15%, rest is 7.5% from skill tiers and capacitor), 6 skill tiers, and full armor. You hit nearly the same as a full red build with it in pvp. Absolutely broken
In sync takes one shot, capacitor takes more shooting
I'm choosing not to play PVP at all because new seasons introduce more broken builds
So I’m curious, if I’m running a tier 6 build and pull out the Kard do I go into overcharge or does the +1 skill tier do nothing
Wait a minute, if i run 7 skill core with future perfect i could run 10 skill cores
It's just a passive +1 not overcharge
So does 7 skill tier do anything or would it just be a waste
And using the new gear set that scales skill efficiency to the amount of skill cores you have
You could probably deal 400k turret or drone damage
Not with the new gear set if im not wrong
Dang
Also is there anything worth having for any sort of build that’s dz exclusive for Uzina Getica?
Could be wrong, im relatively new to skill builds, been using AR, Sniper, and LMG builds most of the time
I’ve just been running 6 red striker this whole time and want something new
You only need 4
Id suggest using either memento or overdogs exotic
My current builds I wanna get set up now are a skill build then I wanna make a tank build in prep for whenever they buff skill and blue builds to be as ideal as red builds
And use equalizer chest piece
I’ve got overdogs on and use the chest and backpack from striker to buff the gear set
Backpack makes the stacks for striker more potent
Get equalizer chest piece
So then I also gotta get a striker mask to maintain my 4 pieces
Cus I was told to run a grupo mask which is my current mask
The chest stacks are great but not many ideal situations to keep them up, using unit alloys with obliterate or the named version equaliser is a lot easier to get going
What's a decently fun solo build for higher difficulties? I have a striker build that does great DPS, but solo I'm extremely squishy and unless I'm playing like a sweat it just gets super annoying. I also have a tank build but my damage is a wet noodle.
play long enough sweaty and it becomes the new default and you can keep playing that way without any extra sweat
Is refractor a gear set? Also I have something called impetus but it’s Wyvern but it has perfect kinetic momentum, also what should I run for a secondary weapon and is the backpack also supposed to be Hana u?
tech tank striker or pfe striker are good if you want to keep that playstyle
Just depends I'm always open for different styles like gadgets. It's been awhile since I played. In using St Elmo's and all Red and do great damage. I feel that build is just a combo of the two I have which could work
@fickle moss #td2-build-advice message
rooty tooty point n shooty refactor turret/drone hybrid setups
https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1wZI1ZEwq3qQxGwmdPnVXcGHxf7D2-xOLRm0m7bfDTlE/edit
generally you toss in some blue cores and play around your shield but keep good damage
Refactor sorry, my phone auto corrected it to Refractor. I hate swiftkey. Yes Hana U for backpack as well.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VDvCTi9l-s&t=1766s for PFE this guy I watched has a crazy tanky build for high end content. 26:9 he shows a snapshot but its everything rolled CHC and PFE mods
PFE is only good against its namesake, which means it'll work well in Master, but not Legendary
reds and purples will still shred you to bits
yeah didnt know how high he wanted to go lol for heroic otherwise techtank is a good mix of not having to sweat about your health
my investor mask has skill tier, haz proc, chc and armor regen is it worth keeping as is or trying to reroll?
this is a change that i thing would make heartbreker more sustainable by making it so that stacks break faster and bonus armour is regenerating while one is in a fight. what do you guys thing
No
so Striker with extra punishing Vigilance
my idea was more on a way to get Bonus Armor while in a fight
yes but if you're getting shot on Legendary or something you're going to immediately lose all of your bonus armor, so it's like if you lost all of your Striker stacks if you get hit
then you make it so refreshing stacks regenerates bonus armor as well
Just change the bonus armour to be a separate stack and have it break/degrade separately, losing your damage from taking damage is awful lol
not "all your damage vanishes when tagged by a red in Legendary"
Sniper
would this be better with hunter's fury or should I stick to strikers?
the +1 skill tier from technician doesnt apply to the new brandset since its not really a core right?
both can work with a similar setup, but ditch oxpecker, it's a bad exotic
backfire or ouroboros?
Ouroboros lowkey situational
While backfire deals higher dps
I usually use ouroboros with directives
Well the thing is, ouroboros has some crazy ass rpm so it’s dps is technically higher
I feel like it was a lot easier to build stacks with ouroboros
i successfuly misread the misreading of my message, great
Fair
backfire has a similar problem with striker chest. you're rarely going to find enemies that are tanky enough to maintain the stacks
And doesnt have the debuff too
ouroboros is better for general use
I got some bleed resistance from the modifiers so its much more manageable
I'd say use them both
but if you're going to use striker chest, might as well use backfire. striker chest is only better in stuff like legendary where the enemies have large health pools
Ouroboros for weak npcs, backfire for bosses
Is equalizer better for ouroboros then
meh, the RoF from 1 UA piece isn't a lot
that was my first build that got me into being able to run Heroic countdown and such. striker backfire with 100% bleed resist
backfire hazpro
you can just spam reload 3 times to negate the bleed y'know, you don't need hazpro, it just nerfs your damage
that sounds dumb
i also like being immune to everything so i can just run around and barrel stuff everything
you become immune to a status effect once you're inflicted with it 3 times in quick sucession
so if you spam reload 3 times you give yourself bleed 3 times, and the game then makes you immune to bleed temporarily
id rather just never get the status, any status
well for like the perfect obliterate talent
better for general use
is the striker with equalizer and overdogs better than striker with salvo and equalizer
yeah it's a bigger dps gain
ok cheers
ouro and lexi. lexi for long range, ouro for bursting down close range
ouro can also build stacks
If only I had the lexington 😓
Hello??? I thought the named stats are free upgrades???
Is the bonus skill core in tactician counted in the new gear set?
Wrong reply
I just dump 45 exotic components for 19% accuracy...
Good now hit the casino
idk where else i can put pictures but who is the person that was behind the fence then ran away
According to the PTS, named attributes are always max-rolled regardless of probability (for example, HSD on White Death or DTOC on Fox's Prayer)
Alright, it seems I misread it.
I thought the named attributes are free upgrades, so it would always at least max two stats when you upgrade named items.
Basically, the first attribute are always the named stats, then it rolls 5% to decide if you can get your second maxed attribute.
I’m so deadass the oxpecker gives me so much survivability it’s gonna take me a long time to adapt and I don’t even know what I should switch too
any smg will do
you can run tech spec w/ artificer hive to heal your shield. you don't need to deploy the hive for it to work
So, what's the play on the new gear set, Core Strength? Is it viable?
I got a all red crit chance crit dam build for bighorn but i have been reading that weapon handling go a long way, how much weapon handling should I give for the bighorn striker or is it not that necessary?
Hello, do you gus know if big al is in the general exotic pool? I missed the last season pass
Big al should be in the blueprint pool for true sons under retaliation. Drops from kill squads tho
Sorry I'm a bit rusty I haven't played a lot in last 3 years, can I farm it?
Correction, completion reward for retal. Sorry
Should be, blue print should drop under true sons retal when i saw the list. The gun itself? Probably rng general drop but not sure on that
Is that retaliation thing a new mechanic? I assume ues cause I don't remember it
Im not quite sure when it released since I am a new player, but this season should have a heavy uptick in players playing retals because it now has match making. Basically just a control point rush w/ kill squads in between (rng based but most of the time they spawn atleast once). Honestly, I have more fun doing retals than doing several countdown matches
How can I start retaliations? Sorry if that's not the proper channel to discuss such things
Plus the blueprints have a high chance to drop even just doing challenging, but best to do on heroic but challenging is still decent for blueprints
Just go on the map and under matching making it should be on the very right and it should have retaliations as an option
Ive gotten the bighorn, eagle bearer, overdogs, memento blue prints all from retals. Plus it also gives the blueprints from the control points themselves which can give you the general drop pool blue prints as well like weapon mods or even tactical assessment blueprints for crafting
Plus it is fun haha, more variety
You can also trigger your own retaliations by just screwing with the enemy faction like killing them, capturing their control points in open world, doing missions etc
Question: do i need weapon handling on bighorn for my striker build, like one core for weapon handling or that would not matter much in the long run?(PVE)
He's to stubborn 😄
headshot everywhere. I use eagles grasp on my bighorn build, but it's technically suboptimal
Someone posted this build on D2's subreddit. Is it good?
reddit is full of builds that aren't that good
Without being able to check, is the Modifier set to status effects?
Since it's a Pesti, people assume it's status a lot.
Bro it's mind blowing
at first I was like, "oh they replaced waveform on their HE skill build, that's fine"
It's so much worse
the hana-u, lengmo, and gc makes me think it's a pesti drone hybrid
Dang this guy is lucky or used a ton of mats.
Ive been debating whether to get eagles grasp or just equip the classic overdogs. Does it make a big difference?
Here's another one
I can't think of a case where Eagle's Grasp would be better than Overdogs for the vast majority of builds.
good lord
possibly any? I might be missing some niche setup.
100% mats
If I sacrifice one core just for weapon handling on a bighorn, is it worth to do it or no?
All these hybrid builds makes me sick.
had a guy with nbb 3 CS and 2 other gearset pieces join my legendary capitol earlier
what context are you using bighorn? I really only use it in niche scenarios, it kind of sucks to use
not objectively better because handling is less preferable then damage in the grand scheme of things, but a lil handling is nice to have sometimes
not noticeable IMO
Just doing a build for openworld, countdowns, retals, or just general content tbh. Got a heartbreaker to do it but wanted to do a striker bighorn variant
are you going crit or headshot?
Currently on crit, but debating on switching to headshot for the bighorn but for general content since there also other enemies without heads like dogs or drones
I mean, it doesn't really matter. you can take a hit to your damage for a little weapon handling, eagles is probably the best way to do that IMO.
Bighorn is already not really optimal, but you can use whatever you want for that content for the most part.
If you check the Modifiers for this season, you have all the WH you could ever want. Too much, almost.
this season's modifiers is probably my favorite one yet
i mean, you can build for crit and use bighorn on headshots primarily, it still does a lot of damage, and you don't lose too much damage on things that don't take hsd damage.
I see, thank you!
2nd favourite so far, 3rd being the companions before, who were good reviver bots when I was playing terribly. read: tired.
this season is great because if you ignore the complex stuff, it's all just pure stat buffs.
I like them too, plenty options. Nothing too op and something for everyone. People saying "omg I have to study this first, nobody got time for that" are just lazy and ignorant. If you get the pattern it's np
it's just math
You don't even have to do much math
Btw, is there another okay skill to use on a refactor gearset w/ btsu other than the standard drones and hive? Is it worth doing seeker drones or a firefly on a refactor 4 piece? Assuming that skill chance is okay
Not really. You need turret drone to be most effective
53% is the highest I ever got rn of weapon handling
with BTSU specifically you need hive to get any advantage out of it.
Ah, a fellow WH enjoyer, cheers
And you can get 43% hazard protection with shd skill tree 10% that’s 53%
If that is the highest (I've not played a lot with the Modifers yet), then that's a massive boost.
Been using the hive and i have been having a lot of fun doing skill damage and heals, but kinda wanted to know if there is other skills to pair with the hive other than turret drone
that's a what, 53% reload+swap+accuracy+stability buff.
It’s really really op for tp builds especially with using big ale
You could never lose your stacks due to reload time
i'd hate to spoil it but ||you can get 65 in one stack||
Mag size can also make sense but it depends on ones weapons of choice
what does the new global modifier do for skills again?
65% how
2 saturates and converge
For the base buffs without converts
I've left the Utility Active Modifier on with my red DPS setup.
It means I can basically spam banshee+decoy, which feels like a season-long Overdrive.
Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if Banshee is affected by Status.
split offense, saturate utility and then invert offense for 55 offense 30 defense
Does saving a loadout also saves the loadout for the seasonal modifier or do you have to manually switch each time you switch to a completely different build?
pretty sure you'll need to manually switch it
This is very annoying lol
fr
How do healers revive down teammates so quickly
Birdies backpack has a big revive speed buff
Got these two on heroic space museum run
Looking for my Dawg Sif🐩
Can anyone recommend me a good Tempest build?
I have a temporary placeholder with Intimidate and Bloodsucker with the Claws Out holster
Definitely keep acostas for the extra grenades. When equipping the bag, you'll get more grenades. They'll stick even if you take the bag off
And then, you'll never throw em
any tanky dps build advice?
use memento & a shield, and maybe some blue cores, thats tanky enough while still having good enough damage for solo, I wouldn't push it for group content tho
im using this rn
Untrue. I constantly toss grenades to force enemies out of cover. Acostas is Goated for the extra grenades
so i will ad memento and a blue cores right?
I wouldn't recommend striker chest for most content, look for an equalizer named unit alloys chest piece and replace the gloves.
You can also use that equalizer chest piece, find a striker mask, and do the memento thing
Ceska obliterate is also acceptable
imma be real with you chief, I'm not doing all that for extra grenades
You equip it and take it off lol
Can you get Big Ale from the general loot pool now? I missed the event.
Retaliation get blueprint craft it
Should be true sons I believe
false sons moment
Thanks for the tip, appreciate it guys!
Your welcome good luck farming
false sons, true daughters
Does the striker and memento combo is still good, combined with st elmo (focus on PvE)
yes, but it will fall off in groups
Striker + Memento is fine for solo, though I'd recommend using striker backpack in groups
Sure, i will not using it for groups hahah
I ran striker+memento for a long time, eventually swapped to striker backpack instead when I felt a little bit more confident 😬
Still works but st backpack for group runs
how can i farm for memento? just do countdown with backpack targeted loot?
Noted then, thanks bunch
yep, that or retals for the blueprint
I got it from the summit
spesific retal or anyone?
Yea it's in the general loot pool, targeted BP loot and exotic rewards
Oh Memento has a BP too in retal? Guess that's a good way then
don't make me post Mulan gifs.
outcasts
Almost every exotic bp is in retaliation
thanks a lot
Apart from regulas
Completion drops from retals is 100% or just a small chance to get the BP?
50% on heroic
I see
god roll
-2062.0% headshot damage
You heal the enemy on a headshot
Anyone got a birdies quick fix build which can run like T4/5 escalations? Obviously needs some type of Dps and survival
none. birdie's is something you hotswap to when someone is downed or dead, it's not something you keep wearing
Is the sheriff any good
Hey so is 60% the max CHC? If I try to go beyond does it still count or 60 is max whatever I do?
It's a good secondary
anything above 60 is wasted
Cap is 60%, yes. Unless there are events active that allow you to go beyond
Thank you sir
Working on putting together a ravenous general pve build. Mostly solo. Anyone have any builds they like to use as suggestion. Thanks!
Personally I wouldn't recommend using it for general play
Each headshot you do hurts you instead
That one scene in Mulan: 🤢 (pretend this emoji isn't green but instead was fed Oatmeal by a Dragon)
ive just realised why my build was so bad on xbox, i didnt know you could set targeted loot in countdown at the time
😭
i know now but ive just remembered i didnt back then and then complained that exos werent dropping
so for heartbreaker, im interested in the new investor mask
right now with coyotes at at close range you can hit 154 crit damage but only at close range
with investor rolled to all three reds you would be at 147% at all times
would this be better in the long run?
pics are with cyotes, does not include buff from ithm
im leaning towards that its ok to sacrifice a little crit damage in order to have a overall higher number at all times
You'd benefit more from overdogs
overdogs are my beloved
i hate overdogs, PVGC is better
Bro gives health when he headshots
Would running two piece of habsburg, 3 piece of eclipse protocol and ninja bike be too much status effect for riot foam? Or should i run the courier to spread the effect?
what should i run if i wanna run tinkerer with pyromaniac ?
just no
no for riot foam?
also no... tinkerer doesn't work with named items
oh rightttt
no for all of it. 3 pc haps & nbb with eclipse.
why courier? You already have EP doing that work and better
for foam go courier 4pc EP and electrique
spread the foam on hit instead of just on kill, it also ignores door bounds
I would rather use Opp to be a good support user
it's BiS IMO
interesting
what is nbb?
noob bait backpack ninjabike backpack
that's good too, and preferred by some, but eh
ninja bike backpack
I use courier because I suck at foaming
I guess personal preference comes at play on this
git gud bro
you still haven't carried me sir
yeah, in the guide both are recommended, IMO courier makes sense as the default though. foam is the priority
so do i or do i not use courier
use this ☝️
courier or the setup, dealer's choice
ok
does 3 piece future initiative, 2 piece of the gorilla brand set and 1 nbb sound good for heals?
ninja bike is pretty much useless for PvE
it will if you're doing challenging
lets not kid ourselves, it'd do fine on heroic
yeah im aware
it's still just worse for no reason lmao
so basically try not to run nbb if possible?
4 pc FI BTSU gloves, and the setup is preferred
in PVE, yes, NBB is always the worse option
ok thank you
just got ravenous.... can anyone summarise a build for it....off top off my head im thinkin 2 pc breaking point 2 .....2 pc zoo.....foxes prayer maybe and urrmm overdogs? roll into crits instead of headshots i take it? iv already got it like a laser beam using the new modifiers so no need for weapon handling
breaking point won't be worth it if you're going crit. 2 pc prov or ceska grupo would help more.
@versed summit ok ty...but keep the 2pc zoo?
3pc zoo
if he doesn't need handling
@flint archnot needed iv solved the weapon handling issue with the new modifier
then ceska
i am personally of the opinion that builds shouldn't rely on any modifiers to work well
I agree with that sentiment.
so 2 pc prov ....a ceska and grupo ....overdogs then foxes prayer yeh...all rolled into crit guys?
if you're going to use modifiers who cares at that point.

I'd still take 2 pc zoo over 2 pc prov. if you go perfect glass and vigi, then take prov over ceska grupo. if that makes sense
@versed summit it does...il mull over the benefitsd of both once i see both built then decide...ty both for suggestions
think i will go zoo as prov 1st bonus is headshot damage whilst zoo has straight up rifle damage...il try get the crit chance i need off ceska/gear mods and minor rolls
i mean we call ceska vyroba just ceska
So call it zwia, not zoo 😂
the irony of all this is my ingame names zool and people keep calling me zoo too 😜
Its something like Recon, LLC. Just polish 😂
Limited liability company (LLC) - Z.o.o
I'll call it Sp then
how does weapon damage hold up on skill builds with the capacitor
Can you farm for Investor somehow?
Season pass atp
I know, but how do you then farm it to get better rolls?
You re-roll it
wait im dumb just reconfig
I'm not sure if it enters your personal loot pool once you get it from the season pass
they haven't recently
What I thought of, yeah
are the overdogs still best in slot for sniping builds
yeah
ok cheers
I feel like Overdogs is gonna be pretty good in most situations.
All roads lead to overdogs
Unironically yes.
How good is Eagle Bearer, really? It looks beautiful and I wanna try to get it but it seems like a gimmick
I mean... the build around it plays a role. If you can consistantly get headshot kills, it can make you pretty tanky.
Overdogs or Coyote can help in most damage oriented builds I think.
Overdog is the Tetrarchy of damage.
Oxi/fire/explosive/weapon damages all ruled over

Coyote is the sidekick that waits in the car now
What was in the sidecar before Coyote's?
Foxs probably
I mean Foxes is still pretty decent.
It is, but when your crit was not perfect it wasnt worth
Fair enough
THAT WAS AWFUL
Ig I use in rifle hh builds too. Probably more use than coyote at this point tbh
that was like 80 components
That's all? lucky 😍
i got like
4 perfect skill rolls and it kept taunting me
twice i got all reds but a skill main core
omg i just relized that the mask changes colors based on what cores it has
so mine is all red now
Hey guys. Looking for a tip. I'm a returning player, been playing on and off for a couple of years, but want to get to the game for longer this time. I have a few builds saved, Hunters Fury SMG Shield, Strikers, Tanky Strikers, HB - just want to ask are they still viable? I remember using Ikia's (?) guide back then. I'm mostly solo player with occasional grouping, I do like skills and shield builds. Pure DPS is also nice, provided I can take a shot or two. I have SHD 650ish.
What weapons should I look into to work with my build?
Strikers is always viable
people still run famas on striker or there is a best AR option
I mean there's a few decent ARs. Then there's the Lexington.
what do folks suggest for the talent for prototying the lex?
I didn't even remembered I had it, should I just change the talent and its good to go
I loved that it has the led lights there haha looks so cool
is an ignited talent based build with tinkerer good ?
Keep or reroll? It kinda isnt even surpassing Coytes because the last stat isnt weapon handling. 😭
who can send me a good tinkerer build ???
check the OD guide in the pinned Spreadsheet for more info
340 round Big Al
tell me how lol
is shroud or mantis better
Nemesis
Convert 2 (Offense) -> Compress (Offense) -> Nullify
Has to be that order
does anyone have any resources or information regarding different sources of dmg multipliers and which ones are grouped together?
Shroud overall for damage, but Mantis has good utility
alr cheers
There's a list in the build hub.
Thank You!
It's not an update but it should be the major ones.
am i just blind to the hub you're referencing?
He's referencing the Division 2 Gear Spreadsheet that's pinned. If you search Build Hub he's also sent the link like 4 times in the past week.
Im thinking of usibg tinkerer/ tipping scales with gr9 w frenzy and another lmg with strained (10% extra crit dam per .5 seconds of firing, max of 5) would that be a good idea?
Not really as you have so much CHD anyway
True, but would that add another 50% to your 500%ish percent to crit damage when frenzy procs?
what is 50% to 500%?
I like Fast Hands or something that adds WD
You want to diversify damage sources. Adding critical damage on tipping scales is the last thing you want to do.
Frenzy Fast Hands is monsterous honestly
For the dmg? It's in there. I forget what's it's named.
i found it, just getting the exotics is going to suck
Can someone clarify if weapon specific dmg such as 'SMG Damage' is additive or multiplicative with your total weapon damage pool? I can't see it specifically mentioned on the doc
I figured it was too but just wanted to double check
Has a + in front of it so I just assumed that's how it worked
that makes a lot of sense haha
thanks for letting me know, I'll keep an eye out for that indicator
Thinking of making a ravenous or big horn build, want something thats kind of inbetween full auto and sniper. I'm leaning towards ravenous, does that normally like just rifle dmg or crits, or headshots?
Its additivr to weapon cores
What Augment would be good for this? Keep the grenade one or try for Echo on it?
Echo would be a lot better, the grenade one is pretty mid.
Not sure if this is the right place to ask. Are these skill mods for skills that you wouldn't have if you only have the 8 initial skills?
Having an issue where there is a "new" indicator on my mods section but nothing new is there. I saw these when I went to the sell tab at the vendor
I think that is the pain of a boosted character as all my boosted ones have that
You need to unlock those skills first. But it would stupid if they didn't show up in the general overview.
So not sure if that's intended or not
The skills that aren't part of the base roster do not appear if you haven't unlocked them yet
Okay that's stupid
In terms of new player onboarding especially
I saw many Reddit threads about this but none actually describes it in a way I understand lol
So I found a good build with waaay more survivability that let's me be aggressive, but my kill time is lower than I like, any suggestions? Im using elite protection mods just cause on heroic they super help
I am on a boosted character. So it is that I need to unlock the skills I guess. Thanks!
Likewise, now I understand what others meant
hey guys just got to mission set journey 6 and realized i dont have a skill build anymore, does anyone have any updated recommendations please and thank you in advance.
Where Red Core?
Has anyone tested if you can use the Amalgam augment with turmoil kneepads to apply status effects to multiple enemies at once?
Maybe they like marshmallows
I can swap to come red cores, but im enjoying my survivability, so im cautious
Enemies don't shoot you when they are dead
