Question. I just got a well rolled equalizer, I know most people say it's amazing, but it seems like 4% damage and 5% rate of fire vs 15% lmg dmg from petrov. Feels like the 15 would be better

Specifically: matchmake for Challenging, and make sure you pick AR's as the TL (targeted loot).
Just follow the biggest group of players and you'll be good. Oh and do the objectives whilst they kill.

It's about the equivalent of the Lexington. It's accurate, fast reloading, has good mod slots, and has a high fire-rate.
Most of them will work about fine, just need one with ~790+ fire rate.

It's always best to have a gun where you can modify the Talent if you need to, so that way if you put Expertise on it in the future and want a different Talent, you don't have to throw it out.

Lexington is just a Police M4 with +5% to its base damage and a LVOA-C reskin. Its nothing really special. Though it opens up the exotic weapon slot that way I suppose. But Elmos shock bullets can be useful

Chameleon is more of a SMG but you can use it for now

Look for a Police M4 with "damage to targets out of cover" and killer/measured/strained

Killer makes most sense once you have your CHC up to like 50%+, so just try to get Measured or Strained

if you find a P416, F2000 or Famas with the rolls you can use them aswell

Once you have a solid AR you could be looking into getting an Elmo's (if you want to use it)

If it were me, I would drop Ninjabike and go high end with a utility exotic

Overdogs, Dodge City (with Police 686), Centurions, Memento, or even the new Harrier’s Pride since you’ll actually be able to make full use of the passive.

If you want to keep HB, I would definitely change the exotic, to Harrier or Memento and lose the HS piece

I don’t think 30% headshot damage and the extra cores are worth losing a backpack talent AND your exotic slot.

With Ad Rush + Int I would normally run a high end build so I can still have my exotic slot.

No point in running Ad Rush WITH HB in my opinion. I think if you solely rely on ad Rush w/out HB, you might have consistency problems with Intimidate.

I guess question: do you need the Bonus armor from HB for survivability, or are you fine without? Because you could easily run blue core 200 striker and then have 2 whole slots for whatever you want.

(You may also consider hunters Fury given your playstyle, and this still gives you a bit more sustain than strikers)

Who needs damage when you can just throw on nimble holster and use cover to cover and heal whatever you've been shot? Enemies also can't really shoot you when you're doing cover to cover too because they apparently have stormtrooper aim whenever you do cover to cover.
