iirc nemesis is typically used to either kickstart headhunter stacks or deal with tanks but are not generally used otherwise, shroud and mantis are both used regularly but have different playstyles

you want to hit the highest tier enemies with shroud, you want to spam decoys with mantis

just rewrite it to atleast include proximity there as a factor and it is already better, and explain that it is exactly the way that most people familiar with most mmo would already know, it is not anything special.
but the real issue is that we do not have tanks as a class or tank capabilities.
there are no talents to pull threat like taunt as easily as other games have, even with things like imminence armaments or mosquito it is not practical for anyone to consistently do enough to keep all targets aggrod to them.
and that for division it is easier to just disable the enemy with crowd control

Was going to go for a Regen build, but it just isnt my style, I like knife through butter, quick, manipulative pvp.

(chatterbox is fun cause I use decoy and stack all my rpm off a heroic zone then one-clip people, but im tired of relying on the stacks.)

BH isn't bad and it can hit high damage numbers. But it relies on headshots to do big damage which limits your options against a lot of enemies. The range issue is less about aim and more about the accuracy of the weapon itself.

yeah i got that, i'm not as consistent but i'm pretty sure with the ramp up i had before and after i'm able to keep pace, and i don't have the 30% weapon dmg bonus either

pretty sure you have on your lex, and no sacrifice nor gift either, so tbf i'm pretty sure both weapons are equals with the same setup

only downside is you have to aim for the head alot more to ensure the dmg to ramp up

prove it. that's why posting clips is useful. so far your clip confirms exactly what i'm saying. your damage output is low. not because of expertise. it's because you're not landing headshots at midrange. your damage is not going to go from 600k to 1.5 million just because of expertise.

also our times were very close, which makes sense. even with perfect aim maybe you'll save like 10 seconds or something. but the damage just isn't there.

again, not saying it's a bad gun. if you like it that's fine. but saying it's the same as a lexi is just saying falsehoods.

it's not cause some bullets weren't hitting as hard as the lex that the dps input is lower since when the damage ramped up the sustained dps is higher actually

and again, saying that the 30% from expertise and glasscanon wouldn't change anything is not right at all x)

Don't take SHD levels like that seriously. The only reason to go above 2k in total is the ability to use the points to buy harder-to-obtain Meterials.

The devs hard-capped any gain from SHD to 1k for the points (actually only 999), and 2k for the health gain.

Yeah SHD ≠ Knowledge. At most it means they made use of XP events or played for a long time

It's how they play and what builds they're running is what tells you everything about a player

It's genuinely not even a matter of how long they've played, just the amount of hours they've put into specific SHD XP gaining methods.

There's no genuine way to tell how "good" a person is at a glance, even Commendation Score is mostly able to be done passively.

100% honest: I'd rather someone who is a little less skilled, but is a team player, than someone who sprints ahead to try and kill steal.

you can flip the guns if i u want, i usually use 1886 for the hh stacks

Run some summit with targeted gear as strikers, get 4 peices (ideally chest and backpack for pve) rolled with your choice of 6 blue, 3 blue, 3 red, or 6 red. Crit damage and crit chance rolls, aim for 55% chc and 120+ chd

run it with targeted loot for two peices of Unit alloys, (ideally get the holster and gloves)

If you get the named "salvo" holster from UA, even better.

Any assault rifle, specialization strikers or firewall.

This is if you enjoy run & gun,

if you want a more "skill" build where you sit and do dmg,

run 4 pieces of refractor, hana U backback "force multiplier" and Hana U holster. All rolled skill damage skill haste.

Run technicians specialization for the extra tech core point and roll a weapon damage on kneepads or something.

This build passively heals you off your skill damage, and if you use Exotic Capacitor or a assault rifle with a similar skill, should be fine for heroic stuff - especially group play.

Both are very achievable builds to acquire and are good for tons of content

Well, that's not entirely true. I was around 2k at one point and had plenty of mats to spare. Even had watch mules at the time too. Now I'm 19.5k and still have 9k mat points to spend for materials. One incredibly important thing the game doesn't tell you about crafting, is that it always scales to Normal difficulty rolls.

Doesn't matter about your World Difficulty.

So you can get a godroll via Crafting, but you're far more likely to get trash, trash, and more trash.

Sure. Tipping Scales is a gear set (the green ones like in your pictures), that is very good with light machine guns. Could that be a thing you'd be interested in? Or maybe a skill build, where you dish out damage using a turret and a drone and stay in cover assisting said damage dealers?

Apparently your DZ build is a Refactor one with a turret and a drone. That's pretty much what I would've suggested as well.

I would also suggest playing with light machine guns when you happen to get exotics like Big Alejandro or Bullet King. Tipping Scales is a good gear set for those. You could use a foam chem launcher as a skill with that.

Retaliations are tough. You can try using 2-3 blue core at your striker and see if that helps. Also do you have memento ? It gives survivability

My experience is blue cores don't make retaliation any easier. Maybe you get more survivability but you kill enemies slower and time becomes a problem. Knowing where enemy spawns and being patient helps
